Central Station Inn - Hostel0.0 out of 5.0

I had an early flight at 7:20 in the morning. I decided to stay in Ciampino at Central Station Inn the night before, saving me time in the morning as I didn't have to travel from Termini to the airport (I like my sleep haha). It was a nice hotel and they provided me with a single room. I like the colorful style of the hotel and the paintings on the walls. There is not much in Ciampino, but there is a supermarket and snackbar right next to this hotel.I checked in around noon and then I took a train to Lago Albano for a nice relaxing swimming day. It was a perfect combination!
I booked one bedspace in a dorm for € 23 per night - dorm rooms have no keys, anyone can get in; - the website reads "prima colazione" (breakfast) but this doesn't mean they have a breakfast room, just 1 vending machine; -bathrooms are not ventilated and 6 buckbeds dormitories only have one high-level window; -reception is supposed to be open from 8 to 20, but receptionist only turned up at 8:35; -if you want to smoke a cigarette outside the lobby in the morning, you will be locked out, since there is none to re-open the door at the reception(???); -poor general surveillance and security.
Rooms are nice but you never receive lets which means doors are never locked which I didn't like. Also annoyed that I had to pay €4 to print off 4 pieces of paper that she wasn't going to print for me in the first place. That's 3x the amount of the bus fair too the airport.
We go there for some hours before the flight.I expexted worst but finally was ok for our situation. The girl at reception was very kind and helpful. Our room had free Wi-Fi & air-condition.Exist and a livingroom with tv.
I tried to book 2 nights and they claimed they were full so I stayed one night and went to different hostel the second but was still charged for 2 nights, and when i tried to contact them they just claimed I was wrong and then ignored my further emails. Don't risk your money to these, people, stay somewhere else.
I was at Central Inn due to very early departure from Ciampino, and despite other reviews I wasn't disappointed. Marlene has been great, sociable and helpful. I asked about a place to eat nearby according to my preference, and she immediately indicated te best and it really was. It is not a Hotel as you share the room as in a hostel, but it was neat, fine with me. Highly recommended!
Needed a place to sleep near the airport due to arriving late. After reading reviews on tripadvisor was somewhat apprehensive. However the place is clean and had ac. We were given a large room with 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds. The room had no window but had an en suite. Area is slightly dodgy.
Well placed to go to, or arrive from the airport. Quite basic but clean with airconditioning and TV. Many eating placed just down the road for supper. Taxi service efficient and a few mettesse from the train station.
Very clean, hospitable staff, just and few meters from the subway and restaurants and ATMs. Both times I've been the place wasn't that crowded and so it was quiet and spacious. Very fast wifi, comfortable beds...Perfect as a layover hostel!
The place is nearby to the Ciampino Airport. You can take a bus near the place and the bus took about 10-15 minutes to get to the airport. It just cost you about 1.50 Euro. The earliest bus you can take is at 5.40 a.m. So if you have an early flight this place should be good for you to stay. Its a good place to make friends also because mostly people will stay here to catch a flight. There's a nearby gelato place that is so good as well and there's a mini market beside the place if you want to find some snacks. There's also a few restaurant nearby to grab something to eat.
