Everything was great. Easy access to the lake on the sleds as well as to the trails. Caught fish and rode to NE Carry and Pitston Farm to see the Deer.

We had an amazing trip. Our host Andrew was on it. The home was amazing and the location was even better. I can't hardly imagine what this property looks like in the summer. The frontage on the lake is second to none! Thank you!!

My family and my brothers family shared the house for the week and it was awesome.1. Everyone thought the house was beautiful, comfortable and amazing. Adequate seating no matter where you choose to gather. Plenty big, bright with great views and breezes.2. Being off the grid was cool, and even my skeptical brother had to admit you’d never have known it was off the grid. Electrical, wifi, etc. were flawless.3. House was very clean and well appointed. Some unexpected highlights were extra propane for the grill, brand new (and high-end) Adirondack chairs on house deck and lower deck/fire pit area, first aid supplies, cocktail-sized ice cube trays, recently renovated bathrooms and floors.4. Deck wrapped around entire house and provided amazing views.5. The property was top notch. Boat ramp. Kayaks and canoes racked neatly near the place to launch them. Life jackets if you needed them. Lower dock/beach for swimming and readying paddle craft.6. Main dock was brand new and lit at night. It was a high dock - perfect for pontoon boats, more challenging to tie up our bowrider and fishing boat but workable.7. Fire pit, lower deck by dock and “lawn area” were great and it was actually a nice thing having that part of the property separate from the house. It allowed the group to split up and do different things.8. Walking the shoreline to the nearby points was a favorite activity.9. Andrew was a thoughtful and responsive host.Highly recommend.

Seaplane Fly-in

This was a perfect home to spend a long weekend with our son's family, which includes our favorite granddaughter! The home's amenities brought us great trouble-free comfort and entertainment, both indoors and outdoors. Its location on the lake provided stunning views and easy access to a boat rental from Capt Rogers Pontoon Rental—five-star as well! Andrew is a great host. We would rent from him again.

A beautiful relaxing and remote retreat

Moosehead Lake and this Lakeside retreat was a perfect vacation! We loved the layout and decor of the house.A Kitchen set up with everything you need to make your own meals, comfortable beds beautiful views, & a nice deck to relax on. We had fun with the provided canoe and kayak on the Lake. Made smores over the fire pit and relaxed. Loved that we could swim right off the dock and there was a pebble cove beach area to wade in . The Lake water was clean, clear , and refreshing. The best part is we had all to ourselves!

It’s like having the lake to yourself…

We arrived to a spotless house that had beautiful views of Moosehead Lake. We were two families, total of nine people, and the house never felt too crowded. We enjoyed the wrap around deck at various times throughout day. We all enjoyed the downstairs room that included billiards and darts. Highly recommend ! Looking forward to staying here again!!
