Vacation like a local
I wanted to stay away from cruise crowds, to enjoy exploring and to show my kids as much of real Honduras as I could while feeling safe and comfortable. We really go that staying here. The pictures of the inside don't do it justice--the house is nicely updated, the AC works wonderfully, and we had everything we needed. Be aware, the beds are extra firm and you are IN a neighborhood so kids, dogs, roosters, etc. For this the host provided some ear plugs but I brought my own. The parking situation is interesting but our rental was definitely safe. We walked down to West End beach (about 5 min) and visited just about every pulperia, mercado, restaurant and coffee shop. Very convenient location--only 10 min from West Bay in one direction and about 15 from Sol y Mar Beach club going in the other direction. Conley was caring and communicative. Overall, a great experience!

Getaway to the Beach
We booked the house for a short getaway to the beach. The beach, restaurants, and stores were all a very short walk. We had the most amazing snorkeling experience. The property was newly remodeled and clean.
