Amazing place! Right on the water and just steps from the beach. Awesome food, wonderful staff, and perfect location. Really good snorkeling too. I can’t wait to go back!!

I scheduled a Scuba Diving excursion at Roatan with my lodging accommodations at Caribe Tesoro. Both venues did not disappoint. Caribe Tesoro is secluded and signage to hotel location is minimal but once you've made your way there, it is well worth the drive and stay. It is located at one end of "West End" beach surrounded by Dive shops, restaurants and friendly people. The diving was epic! Clear visibility and the weather (in May) was perfect for diving. I will be returning to the Island and staying at Caribe Tesoro.

Upon arrival we were almost double charged. We had provided our passports for identification yet we were still almost charged for another guests room who was arriving on the same day shortly after us. We never received our complimentary drink, to be honest, we never asked for it either. The facility is beautiful and the rooms have a lot to offer and everything works. Outward cleanliness of the room is great. Meaning, everything looks clean. The linens always felt like they weren’t completely dry after washing. And the room has a heavy Febreeze smell. We had to ask management to inform the cleaning staff we didn’t want them to spray while we were guests. We were moved from the room we booked for our entire 11 nights at the halfway point into another room because the hotel over booked. They made a half hearted offer to compensate us for a really stale tasting lunch of very cold quesadillas as we were rushing to eat in the middle of a break in our diving course at a center next door. We weren’t happy with the way it was communicated and their failure to understand the inconvenience this caused us. There was literally a day we were in limbo unsure where we were to lodge from 730 AM to about 4 PM. Our stay was okay but not the right kind of memorable. So many other reviews were so positive I felt like this needed to be shared to give proper perspective. Once ownership completes their vision I feel like it will turn into an awesome place, just wasn’t for us.
