Great gardens. Pool is good. Staff are nice. Food is good. Rooms are reasonable but food/drinks are expensive. There are peacocks in the garden, which is unusual. Pros. Near Airport. Cons. Near airport and nothing else
This is the official hotel for any layovers in Medellin. The hotel staff is one of the best I have ever encountered. From the time we are picked up at the airport to the time we are dropped off the entire staff is nothing short of fantastic. They treat us with kindness and are always ready to be of help. Today I needed to go to the shipping area of the airport to send a package and without hesitation the shuttle driver took me over and waited for more than 30 minutes for me. What a service. I also had time to enjoy the beautify salon. I have a great haircut, manicure and brow wax all for about US20.00; unbelievable. The breakfast is amazing; local foods and specialties of the region are served I.e the soup, the buñuelos and the almojabanas... there is also an array of fruit, juice, eggs to satisfy every taste. This is the best hotel for a short stay it is 5 minutes from the airport. The shuttles run every 30 minutes. The hotel has a spa, a pool, restaurant and bar.. All of this with the best service.
Nice property very close to the Rionegro Airport ( please be aware this is not the appropriate hotel for you if you plan to explore the city of Medellin). Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is good. The restaurant is kind of pricey but offers some good options. The gym is spacious although the equipment is pretty old. Service overall is ok, staff is friendly but not impressive. For one or two nights it's a good option.
Close to the airport and very nice. Friendly staff and hood food. Breakfast was perfect with wonderful views. I had the buffet with personal omelette and fruit. Very nice. Well worth it for my relatively short stop. Bar and food reasonably priced definitely not the usual hotel mark up.
NIce, clean, safe and convenient hotel if you're stuck at the Rio Negro airport overnight for a quick stay. Also appropriate should you be there for a conference as you won't feel like you're really missing out on anything as it is at least an hour (or nearly 2 during traffic) from downtown or anything else to do. The hotel itself is comfortable and has a nice patio/pool area so can't complain too much but the distance from civilization makes it a quick stop over instead of anywhere I'd choose to spend any time.
I enjoyed the facility and alsoits proximity to the airport. The hotel is well maintained and has various activiies that one can partake in. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay that one has in the area.
Great value for money. The hotel has good and spacious rooms. There are also lots of facilities in the hotel (swimming pool, gym, spa, etc). So very good hotel to stay. It's very close to the airport and has facility of airport shuttle.
My experience is really bad, at the check in the hotel charged us more of the reservation amount, the service and the food at the restaurant is really really bad and very expensive and the service employees do not respect the sign "do not disturb". I do not recomed this hotel at all.
Well, don't expect a five-star hotel. I cannot compare this hotel to other hotels in Columbia but in Japan I would judge this a good business hotel. There are some minor issues with housekeeping. I had a long hair in my sink. Breakfast is below average. Only highlight here is the waffle machine. The cappuccino being charged separately is not worth the money. What I have to emphasize is the friendliness and high service-level of all the staff. Impressive.
We stayed here when we arrived to Medellin and the day before we left. The hotels beds are very comfortable and clean. The room is a little small but for good enough for a night stay at the hotel. I wouldn't recommend staying in this hotel much longer than one night because some of the other services leave a lot to be desired. The breakfast buffet is great but the service at dinner in the hotel was terrible, which was very disappointing since in the end the food wasn't so bad. It took almost an hour to get our food and there was only 3 other tables in the restaurant. The other service I used was the salon which was a nightmare experience because I had an appointment at 10 am and they said they couldn't attend me until 11 am. One of the "stylists" ended up drying my hair very badly and I had to fix it myself. She really didn't work there and was just helping out the other stylist. I felt bad she was put in that position, so I didn't complain to the hotel but it was so frustrating to have to pay for not receiving the service I expected. I would only stay here again if I have an inconvenient flight time in the future but I wouldn't use the services or eat dinner here.
