Enjoyed lunch twice at MGallery Tereze restaurant. The staff was gracious, friendly and professional. The view to the gardens lush. The vegetarian options are limited but truly delightful. A must when in Rio!

Very nice! Book the romantic package! Nice room, bottle of champagne and a nice dinner! Recommend the breakfast not in the room but in the kitchen. Beautiful view and atmosphere both at dinner and in the morning.

Beautifully decorated boutique hotel. The swimming pool área was fantastic. Spa treatments are very high quality. love their restaurant terreze had a nice st valentin dinner. I definitely would return on another visit in Rio!

Nestled above the City of God with the distant lights flickering below this is an oasis of tranquility in a thrilling city. The dinning is exceptional and the breakfasts really worth getting out of bed for. Garçon Davi and his colleagues serve speciality St Teresa eggs next to an open window with Jasmine scenting the air. Coffee and fruits swell the table. This is the place to be and much better than the characterless mainline hotels of Copacabana and Ipanema. The wall of art opposite the hotel entrance sets the bohemian tone and coupled with the steep winding streets of the Santa Teresa neighbourhood, you feel part of the scene but also closeted in a secret hideaway.

Beautifully decorated hotel and rooms. The swimming pool área was fantastic - with sun most of the day (in mid-Winter). Very cool bar and excellent restaurant. Noise from streets and dogs barking early morning interrupted our sleep a little - but not very serious. I suggest requesting hotel to arrange transportation (taxi) - Uber not reliable for this location. Spa treatments are very high quality, although the location is below the restaurant and so a lot of thumping and chair moving noises from above.

Check-in took a few minutes and I received a room upgrade upon arrival into a junior suite and stayed for two nights. I even was greeted by the general manager herself. The boutique hotel in the art district Santa Teresa has a nice design. The stuff was friendly at every single contact. The suite was spacious with a nice bathroom including l'Occitane amenities. I enjoyed to relax at the pool area and had a few drinks and a light bite. It's a quiet place in the megacity which I was pleasently surprised of. The hotel also hosts a club/bar which seemed to be popular by locals. On the day of departure I requested a late check-out of 04:00pm which allowed me to relax and refresh because of my upcoming flight back home. I definetly would return on another visit in Rio!

The staff were great, pro-actively offering things I wouldn't have thought to ask for (advance tickets to Corcovado, use of beach facilities at their sister property, looking out for our Uber car). Everything from check in (and showing you to your room) to check out was smooth. The property itself is beautiful - nice design, views, pool area, spacious and comfortable rooms. The bar had live music and the restaurant excellent food. There is maybe not that much to see in the immediate neighborhood but a calm oasis to relax in. I think my only complaint would be that they don't offer complimentary water by the pool side. 4 euros for each little bottle of Evian is a bit steep.

The hotel offers beautiful views of the city, great ambiance, garden and pool area, which makes it perfect for a relaxed sunny day. The rooms are of a rustic style, welcoming, and have great products included. The staff was very helpful. It also has great restaurants and little craft stores around.

Great place. Nice staff. Good Testuravt. Near location . Good place to split your Rio stay. Some question the area . I thought the Area was amazing. Team nearby. Taxi and Uber's are plentiful . I would highly reccomend

This boutique hotel is located in an area in Rio that I never been before even being a Brazilian that goes every month to RJ. Santa Teresa is bohemian neighborhood, very charming and the hotel follows the same concept. Excellent food, unique atmosphere and spectacular views from my room, from the pool and also in the bar dos descasados
