Disappointing. Dirty. Old. Not 3 star. Not good ho

it was very modern and clean, two blocks from copacabana beach. about a 20-30 minute walk to Ipanema and Arpoador. I would definitely recommend it!!

Disappointed. The bathroom shower had mold and mildew. There had obviously been a flood in the room resulting in water damage on bottom of doors and closets. Overall the room needed complete renovation. Would not recommend for value. Staff was nice. Very close to beach. Can see from street outside hotel. Copacabana itself is very crowded and dirty. Next time will stay in Ipanema or Leblon.

My third stay here and always a good experience. Hotel is in a great location near to Copacabana beach, many restaurants and shopping. A wonderful staff day and night to assist you during your stay. A perfect Hotel for family and single or couple travelers.

The rooms are very nice. They have a bedroom, a balcony, a TV section and a well equiped kitchen. The location is very convenient, near several minimarkets and two blocks away from the Copacabana beach. The Metro station is 2 blocks from the hotel. This hotel is a very positive surprise.

3 blocks from Cooacabana beach, cllose walking distance to Ipanema. Ipanema is a beautiful beach and city. Two blocks from metro. I love the metro. Recommend the prepay pas, save 50%. Staff was friendly, spoke Spanish and understood English. Breakfast was great, pool was ok, but who needs pool, when beach is down the block. I'm a huge gym and coffee fanatic, so that's my only problem. Gym was inadequate, one universal machine, bike, two treadmills and a few free weights. Nope!!!! Definitely needs to be upgraded! Coffee machine is provided in room, but no coffee or filters. Grocery store is near, so no problem. Iron and iron board need to be requested, should be standard. I recommend ask for room not facing street, gets super loud, trash men and service industry never sleep.

We love staying here for following reasons: 1. Only 2 blocks from the beach 2. Access to banks to convert dollars to real 3. 24 Hour Restuarant around the corner, for those late nights 4. 2 blocks to access to metro station - Cantegalo 5. Room well cleaned with air conditon 6. Small kitchen and living room separate from sleeping quarters. 7. Overall, value is worth the stay and friendly staff

The hotel was great. It's located just a couple of blocks from Copacabana beach and Ipanema is a very short taxi ride or easy walk away. There are has shops, restaurants and a great tourist information place (Blame it on Rio) within one block. The amenities were nice with sun loungers by the pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna and gym. The breakfast was always fresh and had some really great food. The staffs are helpful and spoke English, which was really helpful and sometimes a rarity in Brazil. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

[...]Now, I am suggesting this hotel, PROMENADE-PRINCESS COPACABANA-RIO DE JANEIRO-BRAZIL, for other travelers. Great location. Short walks can get the travelers anywhere they want. The hotel is great for the price. I had a one bed/studio, which is perfect for a single, a couple, and should be fine for a couple with one kid. The staff is friendly, helpful, but they should improve more in English language. Very special thanks to manager [...] he was very friendly, sincere, and concern.

It is a great place to stay! Thumbs up for the staff, they proved to be very helpful and very friendly. I should also mention that the hotel is located near by Metro station and in a safe neighborhood and just couple of blocks away from the beach.

This is what the Brazilians call an Apart-Hotel, which is basically a small appartment, kitchen, livingroom and bedroom. Don't expect to prepare a steak in the kitchen as there are no pots or pans. Anyhow, why prepare food in your room when there are so many good restaurants and bakeries around the hotel? Also, they provide quite a good breakfast in the morning on the pool floor. The "Rabanada" (Brazilian french toast) is to die for! Staff is excellent and will help you out whenever they can. I asked for a late check-out at 4 pm which was not a problem.

Nice location close to Capacabana Beach and shopping, clean and big rooms with kichenette and separate bedrooms, nice swimming pool, restaurant and very friendly staff. What is missing? Maybe a terrace with Copacabana view.
