we have been there repeatedly ! always nice staff, friendly clean, nice walk-in-rate - happy hour is 1 free drink and very tasty snacks - great idea and not often practised ! will go there again when in Rimini,
We just came back home from our trip to Rimini. We tried to choose a hotel of good value for acceptable price for a young couple, with a good location. Mercure hotels are usually reliable, and this one was worth for a visit as well. Perfect location, very close to the buzz of the city, a 20 minutes walk from the center and 15 minutes walk from the harbour, and just a couple of meters from the beach. The hotel room was perfectly clean, the bed supercomfy (they even provided pillows of diffefent softness), the breakfast was great with wide variety of sweet and savory foods and fruits, and delicious coffee of all sorts. Even though the hotel is on the main walking street, the balcony doors sound-proofing was perfect. They provide garage as well so we did not have to worry about the car. We did not need it anyways as the hotel provides great bikes too. And now the most important thing that made us leave smiling: the staff! They are all so lovely, especially Emanuel in the front desk who gave us the warmest welcome we ever had in a hotel and he was super friendly and courteus during our whole stay. He always has a smile for each guest, just as Alessia, and Manuel in the bar. So I would like to thank this amazing staff who helped our stay to be unforgettable! Thank you! :)
Nice hotel. Great staff. Excellent breakfast. Spotlessly clean (do you need clean towels and sheets EVERY day?). Tiny pool. No beach access. Life-line aircon. All-over wifi. Towels for pool and beach provided; and a glass of proseco 7pm-9pm. Executive room not worth the upgrade. Sea view only if they chop the trees down! (It only has 4 floors). Noisey beach-bar under window (till 1am) and children's play-ground. Train station (15min walk). Would I stay again? Prob yes, but not first choice. Oh, and don't accept the first room they give.
This hotel is clean, convenient and comfortable. The staff working in all the different areas were extremely kind and helpful and were always willing to help with any query or problem presented to them. This extended with assistance in taking us to the police station and helping to find a doctor. The breakfasts were delicious and our room was almost too pleasant to leave with the beautiful view from our balcony. Thank you Manager and Staff!
No doubt, the hotel has a premium location when it comes to access to the beach, shops, restaurant and bars. Great staff, always willing to help, and professional – mainly in the reception. Breakfast choice was just sufficient. The good thing is underground parking when you want your car safe and in shadow. We also liked the free drink and snacks at 7 pm, very hospitable. And last but not least. We bought a room with beach use included (umbrella and sunbeds). Very niche beach, extremely wide, clean with kind service! We liked a lot.
We stayed in Mercure Rimini for a night on the way south. The location of this hotel is really nice, right on the esplanade where you can have a morning walk or spend a day on the beach during summer months. There is plenty of restaurants and tavernas offering really nice food along the street and its also not that far from the city centre. The hotel and room was nice, clean and service was really peasant. The only little criticism I would have is that there is not enough hanging racks in the bathroom however this was the first hotel I had a make up mirror! I was really impressed.
This "Mercure series" hotel is based along the Lungomare of RImini, two steps from the beach, just in the middle of the most lively area of the town. Rooms are relatively big and recently refreshed, very clean. The same is for the bathroom. If you get a "privilege" room there is a roomy balcony just in front of the sea. I used this hotel both in summer and winter and never experienced problems with noise which can be sometime a problem in Rimini. The personnel is nice and helping, very gentle, and the breakfast is of good level, serving British, continental and "organic" food. They have a garage
We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions ...its location is close to the beach and surrounded by bars shops and restaurants. They have secure parking with clean and simple rooms all with balconys with sea views. The staff are more than helpful and very friendly ...excellent breakfasts..as we use this hotel as a stop off on our journeys back from the south of Italy to the UK...its a great place to over night ..we travel with dogs who are made as welcome as we are..
The hotel was modern with good sized bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was good always fresh and plenty of selection. Hotel was located near the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Staff were always helpful.
We have just returned from a 9 night stay at the Mercure Lungomare. The location is great for a summer stay in Rimini. The rooms are clean and tasteful, but not super new. The added bonus of bikes available for use is a huge benefit as Rimini is so easy to get about on bike. The pool is also a heated one (not all hotel pools in Rimini are!) so great for kids to play in, and there was the added bonus that you could use the slightly larger and deeper pool across the side st at the holiday in. Breakfast was good. The best thing about the hotel however are the staff. Everyone is so helpful and want to make sure that you enjoy your stay. For me that is key to enjoying a stay anywhere - bad staff can ruin even the most luxurious hotel. So we really appreciated everyone who worked there and helped us have a great stay - Michele was a great help in everything from helping with train times to florence to printing off our boarding passes, making great recommendations for places to visit and eat.
