In reality, I never stayed at the hotel on this trip as there was a family with an ill child. The hotel asked if I could stay at a nearby hotel and I said yes. I was put up at the Aria hotel (another great place) up the street and not on the beach but whatever... the manager of the Mercure personally walked me over, checked me in and had complimentary drinks served. This is very rare. After staying at the Aria, I wanted a bicycle but the Aria doesn't offer them. Knowing that the Mercure did have them, I inquired about a rental and was comped a bicycle as well by the same gentleman. My colleagues stayed at the Mercure and were delighted by its location and how well it was staffed. Remind you, this was a choice on my behalf and not a demand from the hotel that I stay elsewhere. I have never been so well looked after from a hotel I never stayed at. Rimini is beautiful and this hotel is ocean front with a beach club, its own pool, wonderful views and nearby restaurants. Take a bike and go into the old city (unesco world heritage site), have drinks on the beach, eat some pasta and gelato and enjoy your wonderful surroundings. Ciao!
Il personale é professionale, le camere sono belle. Lo staff sa come trattare clienti e sempre con un sorriso. Professional staf working in this nice hotel. They know how to handle clients and always with a real smile.
Pros: - hotel is really close the beach (100 m) - hotel provides discount for beach sun loungers and beach umbrellas - 24h outdoor pool - safe underground parking (15 eur/day) - really nice, helpful and professional staff members - clean and beautiful room with good wifi - beautiful decorated public areas - a lot of cafes and restaurants in front of hotel Cons: - poor breakfast (scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, sausages, ham, cheese, some bread and sweet pastry), no vegetables, a bit of fruit... - quite noisy at night due to proximity of main street

This is a great little hotel, right on the beachfront in Rimini. Our room was delightful, with everything you could want, including two verandas, one with a great sea view. The staff very friendly and helpful at every point. One staff member, Christina, went out of her way to help us and did so expecting nothing in return. Breakfast (included) was outstanding. Very hard to fault.
Stuff is very helpful. Specious and clean rooms. Good selection for breakfast. Nice outside area with swimming pool, sun beds and patio couches. Plenty of bars and restaurants next to the hotel. One min walking distance to the beach. Wheelchair acessible.
The hotel offered eveything we needed, great room, good view and a helpful staff. The hotel is a mile from the train station and the route to the hotel is direct and takes no more than 20 minutes. The hotel is outside the town center (visit) but is on the edge of the sea front both are worth a stroll. Breakfast was good and for our two day stopper the hotel was a good and enjoyable stay. However, be aware of the Mini Bar as there are restrictions; you are informed by the attached label on the fridge door that all drinks are free but in fact only applies to the water (the same mis-leading information applies in Berlin) you have been warned.
the room equipped with nespresso, water cooker, shower, the space is more than enough. The water pressure was satisfied.I have a room with direct see view, a little bit loud on the weekend, but the view is really great. The hotel also offered bicycle and some aperitif every afternoon for free. The swimming pool is pretty small but since It takes only 2 minutes to arrive the beach, it's totally fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were lots of fruit, strawberry, pineapple, kiwi, melon, etw. for breakfast. One of my favorite mercure hotel.
We spent a number of nights at this hotel between the Christmas and New Year period. The entire hotel was very clean, the staff were all very friendly and most spoke english. Breakfast was included in our rate, there was a great selection for breakfast every morning from juices, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurts to eggs and bacon. The hotel is in a central location within walking distance through two parks to the centre of Rimini. Our bedroom was serviced every day and was large enough for two adults and two children. The kids used the outdoor pool which was heated. The gym was clean and had equipment that was in very good condition. Each evening complementary aperetif's were offered a choice of wine, prosecco or non-alcoholic punch with nibbles, this was a lovely touch and much appreciated. There is an underground car park at the hotel with a daily charge. We really enjoyed our time at the hotel and would highly recommend this hotel to others, the team went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Great job!
Received free upgrade to junior suite a nice spacious room with sea view. The beach area opposite hotel was very pleasant and the sea surprisingly warm this time of year - deck chairs 4 euro/day plus hotel provides free beach towels. The hotel has a smallish well heated pool fine for swimming with comfortable surrounding area in which to relax.Breakfast was from 7am to 12 noon and provided all you could wish - cold buffet as well as cooked food.Hotel is modern and clean with convenient underground parking at 15euro/day. All the staff were friendly, helpful and very genuine - they were a credit to their employers.Overall a very pleasant holiday.
