most likely the best you will find around here. we have a dog, if you have a dog let them know upfront ... your room will have cups for water and food for your canine family member breakfast is really good with a large choice of sweet and salted
Staid for 9 nights in room 115 on the 1st floor. Room was spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel. We would like to say a huge thank to Antonella, Claudia, Susanna, Barbara, Nico and the ladies that cleaned our room for helping us to have such a lovely holiday. Breakfast was amazing with a huge choice of hot and cold foods. Hotel is just up from the beach and the main street. If you ask at front desk they will arrange for the tourist train to pick you up from outside the hotel and take you into rimini for the market, make sure to buy return tickets tho Once again thank you all John and Barbara
Only a short taxi ride from the train station costing 12 euros, you will find a botique like hotel. Room was very comfortable, but the front desk help, incredible breakfast, and patio were what made it special. Breakfast was almost completely home-made and even had a chunk of honeycomb, with fresh honey dripping, just waiting to be collected for your toast. The included cappuccinos were the thickest, frothiest I had in Italy. Fresh fruit was delicious and pastries delectable. I did not opt for the eggy dish or the meats/ cheeses. They even stored our luggage for us so we could take an unencumbered bus trip to San Marino for two days. That meant A LOT because we had two big divebags of gear we used on the first part of our trip to the Red Sea. It's places like this that make traveling such a pleasure. Beer, chips, and peanuts on the patio, waiting to grab a taxi back to the train station made it so relaxing. Really a great find!
My husband and I are staying at the hotel academia for 7 nights to attend the MotoGP in San Marino. The hotel is very clean and our garden room is spacious and well equipped. Lovely shower. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious with amazing choice. This is our second stay and we would absolutely recommend it.
Nice and fresh hotel. The personnel was fantastic and very genuinely helpful; they gave excellent service 24/7. The breakfast was amazing and had a wide selection. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others who are planning to stay in Rimini.
I really liked this hotel and its atmosphere. Rooms were clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Its located in a great area right next to the beach and allowed us an opportunity to relax and recharge after a week and a half long drive through Italy. The only reason im rating it as average is because of the guy on the evening/night shift. I dont know what his problem is, perhaps its the night shift itself, but he was rude to us throughout the stay and on our case since day one. As an example, we were leaving really early and were going to miss breakfast, so front desk offered us an option of coffee and croissants in the morning or breakfast boxes, which I thought was very nice of them. We chose coffee and croissants and everything was waiting for us in the morning, but then he wanted to charge us for it. He also wanted to charge us double for water, even though price was right there by the water bucket. These things were not misunderstandings because every time he was confronted he would back down. Its too bad that one employee can make such a negative difference.
Three nights at this hotel gave us time to relax in our comfortable rooms (two women - two single rooms) and enjoy some friendly and helpful hospitality. Antonella (front desk and friendly local) gave us great ideas for dinners, piadine (an Emilia Romagna specialty) and a thermal spa day trip. The breakfast team provided an abundance from savory to sweet dishes - freshly made each day. Barbara remembered our coffee order each day too - always with a genuine smile. Easy free hotel parking too! We'll be back.
Can't recommend this hotel less. The staff were amazingly helpful and even had a daily newsletter of events on in Rimini. Breakfasts were excellent and the hotel is right near the beach in Riverbella. The room for a family was slightly small bit good size bathroom. Definitely worth the stay.
We found this hotel relatively late on in our search for a holiday and visited on the recommendation of reviews. The price was great. A bargain really. The ladies on reception ( Claudia and allesandra?) were lovely and very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfasts which had plenty of choice and were available from 7.30 until 12 which is amazing. The jugs of water with fruit in and the daily newsletters were a nice touch. The hotel was spotlessly clean with plentiful fresh towels and cleaning every day. Soap, shampoo and body lotion provided. The only slight downside was this: when we booked we were offered a 'larger room with a balcony' for an extra €15 a night. As we were travelling with two tall teenagers we decided to go for the extra space and pay the extra. However, the room was small and their beds consisted of a small single day bed with a roll out bed underneath. We would have liked two proper single beds or bunks in a larger room. I asked about this and we were offered a slightly larger room but with no balcony and an 'inside window' from the Monday. We didn't see the room however as we chose to stay in the initial one due to the balcony. It is located near the beach which was lovely with a sheltered area for swimming. We expected it to be heaving as it's high summer but, pleasantly, it was not. The sun beds were predictably expensive at €100 euros for 4 beds and 1 brolly for 6 days-but that's to be expected in Italy. We never felt too close to others as the sunbeds were reasonably spaced. We visited San Marino and Gredara which we would recommend. Both were only 40 mins drive away. We had hired a car to get from the airport at Bologna and the drive was an easy one. We also used the local bus to visit Rimini old town but it's not too far and we walked it as well. The resort had everything you would need; touristy shops, restaurants ( we liked La Posada but you might need to book), ice cream etc. All within a few minutes walk. If we were visiting this area again we would definitely stay in Hotel Accademia.
We stayed in Rimini prior to a MotoGP race and this ticked all the boxes. Great location, car parking, clean modern room and bathroom and exceptional breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful and genuinely took an interest. We will definitely be coming back.
