Location was very nice but not worth the price. The unit says sleeps 5, but didn’t realize it was in two different units. Was very hot in the upstairs bedrooms. Address was wrong on VRBO and didn’t receive any instructions prior to arriving.

Great location close to Ouray. Very quiet area with great views. One of the showers is a little small for larger adults. Upper level bedroom is hard to cool down and especially with smoke in the area from the fire. A min-split air conditioner with 2 heads would make this a really great unit. Unit is very clean and has a nice patio with a grill.

Enjoying each other and Colorado

Check in was very easy. We cooked all of our meals in the cabin kitchen and found everything we needed to do this. We also used the grill and that worked well too. We had a great time enjoying each other.

Riding the Million dollar hwy

The hill up to the cabin is no joke. Make sure you have a 4 wheel drive or at least good tires. The cabin is pretty and its windows show so much of the beautiful scenery.

The location was great. Close to Ouray and Ridgway. Definitely need to follow the directions sent to you--do NOT use GPS. The drive to the property was up a steep hill so you need a vehicle with at least some type of AWD at a minimum due to the loose gravel. If there is rain or snow, it would be even more difficult. The cabin was very clean. The main bed was comfortable and the view out the bedroom window was magnificent!! Seating in the downstairs area is pretty tight, but there were only two of us so we made it work. There is no air conditioning, so just be prepared for that. There were several fans available. The main recommendation I have is for some type of covering (curtain or blind) in the kitchen window over the sink. The sun shines directly into the window in the late afternoon/evening & right into the main area. Also, the property owners utilize the workshop that is attached to the cabin. We were just surprised at first that they would be in there when we would pull up after being out sightseeing/hiking for the day.

Cozy Mountain Home

Property was clean and cozy. A little dated but to be honest that was the charm of it. A taste of secluded mountain living with just a short drive to Ouray or Ridgeway. Would book again.

Loved this little cabin. At the end of the road so no traffic passing by. Loved waking up to the Mountain View from the upstairs bedroom. Lots of fans on the property.

Cozy cabin for family getaway!

Our family had a lovely time in this little cabin. Great location, close to Ouray and the cabin has everything you need. The views are amazing and the property is private and remote.

Quiet, simple retreat

The cabin was perfect for our needs - no frills and like a step back in time but was clean and met our needs and expectations well. The king bed upstairs is very comfortable and looks out on the mountains! There is no air conditioning but with venting the screened windows and running the several fans that are provided, we were very comfortable. The “sofa” downstairs is a futon that was not comfortable to lounge on and we would have preferred an actual loveseat or something, but alas, we did not come to the mountains to sit around in our cabin. The property is very quiet and well located with easy access to Ouray, Ridgway, and Telluride. We would stay here again!

Rustic perfection

We had the privilege of staying at this sweet little cabin, while attending my daughter's destination wedding in Ouray. This place was amazing. The views are spectacular. Wildlife is everywhere. Even the pebbles here are more beautiful. Beauty abounds. Our cabin covered all of our needs and was really private and perfect. We had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this spot and please visit the hot springs in Ouray. Very therapeutic.

Beautiful views

The cabin was everything we needed for a long weekend. The outdoor space is great, it's quiet and secluded, the view was amazing, and the sound of the river rushing was awesome. Only word of caution is that if you're going during the mud season be sure your vehicle can make it up the steep hill. My SUV had no trouble, but I could see smaller cars having issues if it rains like it did for us. Great place!
