Really loved the feel of the place and the location was fantastic. Very peaceful and quiet. Had a fully furnished kitchen, including a dishwasher which made for a really easy and painless experience.

Xmas/ new years trip

We were a little nervous because it was my first time using this app for booking a vacation but it couldnt have been more perfect. The cabin was so clean and beautiful. It had everything we needed. Perfect place to spend it with your family.

It was a beautiful quiet cabin. I would definitely go back again. The rooms were comfy and spacious. Water pressure great lol. Me and my friends went up there just to get a couple days away from the city life and it was well worth it.

Mineral county cabin

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It was very clean and my kids loved the vast selection of movies. The directions provided were very clear and the pizza place suggested was delicious. The whole family had a great time.

Cabin on the mountain

Great stay in this cool cabin on the mountain. My sister and I rent this cabin when we come back to visit family and friends in our hometown. We love it!!

Weekend Getaway

Fun weekend spent at this great log cabin in WV. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, with tons of DVDs to watch if needed. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and were also there to take the Western MD Scenic Train Ride with our family, which was a lot of fun. Fort Ashby is a quiet little town and we enjoyed staying there.

Nice Place to Stay

The cabin was very nice. Once we figured the area out. Grocery store wasn’t that far away. Very quiet and seen some wild life (deer). In the morning it was great to sit on swing with my coffee and watch the deer graze.

Perfect getaway!!!

I can’t say enough great things about this property. The best way I can describe it is it felt like home . The location is secluded and quiet and super easy to get to . Very clean and the beds were comfy. If you like to relax and watch a movie in the evening, there are literally hundreds .

Disconnected getaway!

Great place to disconnect from the world and reset! Perfect for a family of older kids. Lots of dvds and board games! We had a great time!

Mountain Paradise

Beautiful mountain setting with pristine cabin. Comfortable sleeping, well supplied. Loved watching the birds and seeing the whole Milky Way. Perfect place to relax and recharge. Appreciated how responsive and helpful the Host is! Can't wait to go back next year!

Nice Cabin

We really liked the cabin, but to be honest; even though I loved the fact that the cabin is deep in the woods; and you can enjoy the stars and the tranquility; but unfortunately I must say that you have to drive a lot to find lakes or things to do; there is no wifi, no cable; not many board games; I really think the cabin and location are more for people who enjoy hunting! not for families with children and teenagers.

Sister Trip

We have stayed at the cabin four times now. Never have any problems or if we need anything or have a question. Homeowner always answers right away. It wasn't as clean upon arrival just this time but were refunded for that and I'm sure it won't happen again. Cant wait to go back

There was no TV access and wifi was difficult to obtain and maintain. Could not stream anything on the TV. Could not access personal Netflex or Prime. The kitchen was adequate, although the oven was dirty. It would be good to warn guests about the long gravel road leading to the property.

Train trip

Very poor lighting, pellet stove but no matches to light it, no internet, tv work but could never get the sound to work. We had to leave early because of the hurricane that did a lot of damage to our home. We did contact the host but never got a response.

Well to start i said I was coming down with trailers with Motorcycles we like to ride the country roads. We passed the cabin because it wasn't marked well. We ended up on another property at the end of the dirt road and took us 40 minutes to get turned around thank god the guy that owned that property was understanding and moved some stuff so we could finally get turned around. This cabin is not Motorcycle friendly. You have to go down a dirt road probably half mile or more. Pot holes and when it rained it turned into mud holes. The driveway was black top but its steep and has more than a 90 degree turn halfway up. Just before the driveway its stone driveway and the black top is anywhere from 7 inches to 3 inches higher. One of the guys hit it the wrong way and dumped his bike and broke his foot brake off and fell off and bruised his ribs and couldn't do anything he was laid up for 3 days. Another guy sat in a rocking chair and when he leaned back it broke. The chair was rotted . The fire pit was nothing but a pile of rust. So we didn't have any outdoor fires. She told us if we wanted to go get one she would pay us. The grass wasn't cut. She told me they have had 4 wheelers and dirt bikes renting it. These are 4 Harley Davidsons these are road bikes. The one guy was sleeping on the couch and when he work up he had alot of red dots over part of his legs and back. We took a pic of them and AI said it look like bed bug bites. I did take pics. Should be compensated something.
