Beautiful hotel in a quiet location. More than perfect peaceful setting with a excellent breakfast choice. Rooms are extremely clean and the service received from Tina and team was fantastic. Me and my partner left to join family soon after we arrived but the team were extremely kind and caring throughout our visit. The breakfast by the pool in the bar area was more than enough with fresh products each day. I would definitely recommend this hotel and it's topped by its friendly welcoming staff.
We booked a last minute self catering trip to Rhodes on a budget. We didn't expect to get such a lovely hotel as part of the booking. It's very clean, comfortable & has all you need for a self catering holiday. We weren't in a newly refurbished room but that being said it wasn't a disappointment. Sheets & towels changed daily except sunday when only towels were changed but that was no big deal. The staff were lovely, food amazing when we ate in the restaurant & all communal areas clean. They even had a washing machine & dryer (i like to go home with clean clothes 😀. ) I would truly recommend this hotel but unlike us a car would be useful. We covered 10-15 miles walking up to Rhodes old town on several occasions. (Luckily we like walking). Considering this was the last week of the season the weather was very kind & standards at the hotel remained very high.
We have been going to Rhodes for 23 years at least twice or maybe 3 times a year. about 50 times in total. We absolutely love here and the Greek people. The facilities here at Sunday Hotel are fantastic it is like brand new, fully refurbished. beautiful modern bedrooms, Washing facilities, Resturant, Breakfast Lunch and evening Dinner served great home cooked food,15 mns. from Airport also from Rhodes New and Old Town, Toula, Tina. Panos, Michael, and of course Jimmy are more than willing to help in any way that is required, We look forward to seeing you again next Year ( already booked) God Willing.
Myself and my Mam stayed here for a week and we didn't want to go home. I booked a holiday here for my Mam and sister about 23 years ago and Mam and Dad have returned here every year since. Every time we come back it's like visiting our Greek relations. The family who run this hotel are the loveliest people you will ever meet. The rooms are stunning and the food is amazing, we ate in the restaurant every night and had great nights in the bar!! The pool is gorgeous and they have water Zumba every Friday morning it was so much fun!! The hotel is a few minutes walk to the beach and a 10 minute drive to Rhodes town. We love this hotel so much we have already booked again for next year.
Loved everything in this hotel! Me and my sister decided to go to Greece last minute and this hotel was recommended to me. The reviews were too good to be real but honestly after I’ve been there I can confirm that this hotel is worth every coin! At the reception I met Katherine/ Katrina which was so nice and helped us a lot. The hotel is in a very quiet place and in the middle between the airport and rhodos city which is 10-15 min in bus/car both ways from the hotel! Near the hotel there’s a big supermarket and the swimming pool was great! The beds were so comfy and we really loved our room. Me and my sister really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Sunday hotel! I’m sure it’s not going to be my last visit!
This place is amazing, if your looking somewhere to go for a peaceful holiday this is your place. Toula and Tina the owners are brilliant and also are all the sons. The minute you walk in to the hotel you feel relaxed and at home. The rooms have been recently renovated and look fabulous. The food served in the restaurant is delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel as it offers everything and isnt to far away from local supermarkets and Rhodos town. The beach is a few minute walk too.
I have low expectations about most things in life, a combination I blame on my eternally pessimistic Scottish/Jamaican parentage. Restaurants are always going to be 'so so', good weather is only a prelude to a downpour....you get the picture. Katharine and I went to Rhodes for the first time recently and....well let's just say this writer has emerged as a born again celebrant. Rhodes is a beautiful. island with a history that visually engages you at every step and demands that you discover more about its culture. What made the whole experience even more enjoyable was staying at the Sunday Hotel a true gem of a hotel which transformed a great holiday into an unforgettable one. The room was recently renovated, with cleanliness and unflashy modernity being the dominant style. Katarina is the owner and her hands on style of nothing is too.much trouble doesnt disguise the hard work that goes into making this hotel a wonderful experience. Here's a sentence Katharine and I have never used before about a hotel, we're going to return and soon.
Lovely stay at Sunday Hotel, a very friendly local family run business for over 30 years. Great staff, welcoming and helpful. Access to pool with plenty of sun loungers, excellent freshly made food (we definitely recomend you to try the fresh smoothies), massage and possibilty to rent bicycles or scooters. The hotel is located very close to the beach, supermarkets and bus stop. Totally worth choosing this hotel for a relaxing stay in Rhodes.
We have stayed here before the hotel hasn’t changed since our last visit except a few renovations to the rooms which are spotless and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and obliging nothing is too difficult. The bar restaurant and pool area are excellent and they have a good family atmosphere. Location to transport super markets and restaurants is ideal. We would not hesitate in staying here once again.
Put into context this is a 3* family run studio apartment hotel. I have been here before a couple of years ago and liked it then. This time visiting as grandparents with children & grandchildren. The hotel has had a makeover since I was last here. Rooms are air conditioned and have small kitchenette which is quite adequate for feeding fussy kids. They will also deliver food to your room! Breakfast is a buffet style, freshly produced. Bar, food & ice creams etc the rest of the day. Far enough back of the main road so traffic noise is reduced. Restaurants & shops with in a short walk. Supermarket one block away. Its a safe place for young children and with easy reach of Rhodes Town. Beach is about 1 km away or the pool is great for the kids. I've no doubt that we will be back again.
