Came to Rhodes for the first time and loved every minute of it, we were greeted at reception by friendly staff who showed us to seats in the bar where they gave us both a welcome drink, while they sorted our documents and room details, after the drink we returned to reception and they signed us in, and then showed us to our room, we had a garden suite room #176, nice room, quite large, decorated nice and the bed was comfy and large too, the bathroom was good, no separate shower which would have been nice. The room looked out onto the gardens and had a quiet road behind a high bush which ran all along the perimeter , so was very private and quiet, our room had no other room actually attached to it, which was nice too. It was also away from anyone walking past too, as some rooms on the garden side did have the path to the main building right next to their patios/balcony's. The main building had a great bar with large seating area and also the main restaurant , which served breakfast , lunch and dinner, all of which were very good, lovely fresh food, great choice and plenty of it, local food and also from all over Europe too, plenty of sweet and savoury things too, and the waiters served you the drinks, which was nice. The pool bar was fantastic, great staff there especially Nikolas (the best barman) and Stellios and Amelia, always a great laugh with them all, and served us great cocktails all ten days we were there. There were two pools but we never went in them as we were told the sea was actually warmer, and we prefer the sea anyway, there were plenty of loungers, which you didn't need to get up early for either, the beach was pebbles, so I would recommend some swim shoes, but once in the water it soon turned to sand under foot, not a great place for snorkelling, but did see a few fish if you looked in the right place. Whilst at the hotel you are allowed a visit to Degu 7, a fine dining restaurant on site, by the decorative pool, go, it is fantastic, wonderful food, which you order when you book a table at reception, you won't be disappointed, the staff were fantastic, really looked after you when you were there, so book as soon as you arrive, without doubt. All in all a fantastic holiday at this great hotel, great food, staff, room and surroundings. Thank you to everyone there who made our stay special.
Lovey hotel, beautiful location, food was hot & always a good choice. Honestly would go back tomorrow - thanks to all the staff for our wonderful relaxing week!! Our room was just the standard room but had a whirlpool bath and wasn’t too far from reception. Didn’t have a view of anything but the little time we spent in there it didn’t matter.
We stayed here for a week in april, the weather was lovely apart from one day when it rained all day! The staff were extremely attentive, especially if you choose to go all inclusive. We were put in the old part of the hotel were the rooms happened to be abit shabby so chose to upgrade to the suites side for the last 4 nights. This was well worth it!
Myself, My Husband and my niece stayed here in the middle of October for 1 week. We had a warm welcome from staff when we arrived with a refreshing welcome drink, the staff was great apart from the chamber maid was a bit forward and didn’t respect the Do Not Disturb sign apart from this small problem we haven’t got a bad thing to say about the hotel. The food was a good choice and good selection plenty to chose from the drinks are alright the cocktails are ok the beer was fine. The facilities of the hotel was brilliant to the reception area, lounge areas, pool, and beach area all fantastic. We would definitely return to this hotel we all had a fantastic time thank you sentido ixian grand thoroughly enjoyed. Rhodes itself from what we seen of the island is beautiful from seeing Rhodes new and old town and the harbours and Faliraki to Lindos absolutely superb loved this island my husband liked the 2000 year old Olympic history the old town has got a lot of history too 😀
The highlights of the holiday...the staff (Stelios and his young co worker and Constantinos and the guy in guest services) were just a few that made our stay so much fun and welcome. The best 5 star hotel I have ever been to from the staff,to the food to the service. We had an upgrade to a room with an infinity pool, nothing was too much for anyone and if I ever return to Rhodes I know where I will be staying. I could not fault our experience and have nothing but positive thoughts. Thanks to all at Sentido Ixian for such a personal touch :-)
A lovely relaxing hotel situated right on the beach. The lobby is large and welcoming and on arrival we were greeted with a very nice glass of fruit juice which was very appreciated in such a hot day. The bar areas are comfortable and drinks nice and cooling served by pleasant and professional staff. The restaurant is comfortable and welcoming with a great variety of food on offer. Breakfast is from 7am and is available until 12 noon although after 10am only continental is on offer. You are allowed one meal in the A la carte restaurant per couple per stay if all inclusive. This was a nice change from the buffet style restaurant and was well worth having. The pool area can be very busy but there are plenty of sun beds available and we didn’t have any problems finding available ones. The staff are all happy to serve you and do a fantastic job in ensuring your holiday is a good experience. Would definitely recommend for a lovely relaxing break!
Stayed during the last week of the season. Lovely clean hotel, room was gorgeous; large, with a proper double bed! We had a sea view room with a hot tub on the balcony- this definitely is worth the extra money. Room was cleaned each day with fresh towels and bottled water. Plenty of sun beds by the pool and on the beach- pool was freezing as was the sea! Food was amazing- the best we’ve ever had. So much choice each day. Staff were all so friendly and helpful- both bars in the hotel served local beer, spirits and a huge cocktail menu which included champagne cocktails. We ate in one of the al a carte restaurants- Degu 7 I can’t recommend enough... you do have to buy wine if you want it. We did and it was delicious. Lots to walk to locally, nice bars and restaurants. We walked along the beach to the old town- took about an hour. We were able to keep our room on until 8pm at no extra charge which was great. The only downside to the hotel is the Spa- not the Spa itself as I had two treatments which were well worth the money but the fact you have to pay 15 euros to use the facilities per day. We had bad weather so we did pay to use the indoor pool and steam room but felt it should be free?! Really can’t recommend the hotel enough.
1st impressions were good, we were met at the door to have our cases taken to our room, after refreshing towels and a drink at the bar before check in, when we were shown our room it went down hill from there, room was very dark and very outdated(not the 5 star we was expecting) attached are 2 photos showing the patio door that had been broken into many times before and the state of the electrics. room was cleaned daily the problem was after the clean the patio door was left unlocked 4 times during the week,(not good) not much choice of food I had to have chips every night. the location of the hotel is not great as there is nothing in the area for you to do if you left the hotel, the entertainment was a disco once a week and twice during the week there was a singer and an organ player, we have been to better 4 star than this supposedly 5 star, Rhodes old town was great , I would return to Rhodes to visit the old town again, the hotel charge £3.50 to call you a cab, not on when the taxi rank is 40 yards from the hotel, we will defiantly not return to this hotel.
We stayed here as two adult couples, and requested rooms near each other. The hotel obliged with rooms next door to each other. Everything the hotel did from check in to check out was very well organised and smoothly run, the staff are absolutely lovely, the rooms are large and comfortable (we had ground floor garden view rooms which are not the updated very modern rooms, but the bed was one of the comfiest I've ever stayed in on holiday), rooms are clean and include fridge, decent hair dryer, air conditioning, TV (we don't have the TV on so can't say which channels are available) and a lot of wardrobe/storage space! The main restaurant provided lots of food choices every day with show cooking and whilst there are two a-la-carte restaurants in the hotel, we didn't feel the need to use them. The drinks were very good, from the all inclusive wines (including sparkling) to the G&T and cocktails - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic - we were very impressed at the quality. There are shops in the complex, but whilst this hotel is in a nice, quiet location (approximately 10 minutes in a taxi from the airport), it's only a short walk into the main shops, with a taxi rank right outside the hotel if you want to go further afield - a taxi to Rhodes Town is about 14 euros one-way. The hotel is very well laid out for travellers less able to get around, with lifts and ramps everywhere, including the pool which has a gentle slope in, and hand rails. We stayed early October and there was never a problem in getting a sun lounger - even at mid-day - there was no need for a rush which was a nice touch. The hotel is on the beach - it's pebbly so take beach shoes with you to get in and out of the water. The other nice touch was that even though we were all-inclusive, you didn't have wrist bands - you were given business-size cards to carry with you and display during your first few days, but once the staff got to know you, you didn't need them. The entertainment on an evening is low key, singers at the pool/beach bar and aqua aerobics in the day time. We just have to thank a few of the fantastic staff who really made our stay: Stelios and Anneta at the pool/beach bar – you made us laugh and kept us very entertained – as well as making fabulous drinks, and Nasia and Valeria, our wonderful restaurant hostesses – you all work so hard and we very much hope to see you all again next year.
went with my mum for 4 nights, lovely helpful and friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms (we had duluxe double room on 3rd floor) lobby bar is good with plenty cocktails and drinks for all inclusive guests. this ends 11:30pm each night after which drinks are charged!!! lovely big seating area indoors with views across the pool and beach. the restaurant and pool bar are nice enough- again friendly staff. food can be a little repetitive but maybe that’s due to end of season?! fab pools and beach. 2 al a carte restaurants to have 1 meal at during your stay-the greek taverna is casual but a delight. not a lot to walk out to do near the hotel. went to old and new town to explore for half a day. during our 4 day trip there were a singer on 1 night which was entertaining enough otherwise enjoy each other’s company as you’ll have plenty time for that! great weather 2 days, rain 2 days in end of oct!
