Been there last year staff-maids are so kind and hardworking, reception was fast and helpful, and a small gesture of not letting us pay our drinks at the pool because of a small delay, made us thankful(because we greek people, have FILOTIMO). Room-Spacious and always clean, with a sea view, you couldn't ask for more,at the price we bought it, REAL value for money ! Breakfast- It was a normal breakfast witout luxuries, but everything was fresh, well prepared and clean. Location-Easy to find, just 2 minutes outside town and 5 to the harbour,no need to say something extra In general, if you are a customer that knows what he pays for,you will be extra happy with what the hotel offers you,and you will be more willing to return back. Happy times!

I came back more tired than I left. Near the hotel is a disco & bar street, very very noisy. You need earplugs if want to sleep on the night. The only time when I have sleep was after 5 am when all the clubs stop. Breakfast was good enough and staff very friendly.

It's a hotel. It has beds and bathrooms and a pool, as advertised. There's nothing particularly wrong with it. However, it really needs a bit of refurbishment. The facilities in the rooms are pretty basic, and you have to pay for air con (at certain times of year, including periods which can get very hot on the island) and the room safe. Things didn't seem terribly clean but not alarmingly dirty. Our balcony was quite nice but, apparently, not all rooms have one. The bathroom was tiny and not in the best of condition. The lift is positively archaic. The pool and poolside area are clean and functional. It's very close to the beach, although it is the windiest side of the island so more suitable for surfing than swimming. The old town is at a walkable distance but not as close as some reviews suggested. We often took a taxi instead. There's plenty going on in the area in terms of bars and restaurants. I enjoyed my time in the pool, and the use of a swimming pool is very important to me, so I'm not too unhappy with my decision to stay here. However, if the pool is not your priority, I'm sure you could do a lot better in Rhodes town.

You must pay for AC, unclean towels, the nights are very noisy, there is practically no sound isolation. The bathroom is not always clean. If you accidentally stain a towel they make you pay for it(i bought bleach and cleaned a towel to proof them that cleaning it is easy; do they even bleach?)

Stayed for 2 weeks in June 2017 Studio was better than expected- Modern . Room 701 - 7th floor- Lift goes to 6th floor. Has fridge - 2 ring cooker. Shower ok. Very good lighting. There is a wardrobe by the way too. Balcony small but adequate. View fantastic of the sea. The nearby beach can be v windy. There is another beach about 15 mins away that is calm. Great access to new & old parts. So much to do in Rhodes Town will be back next year! Greek People are so friendly. The only down side is that Bar Street is next to the hotel & is very noisy. Shutting the balcony door helps but be warned. Not sure if it can still be heard from another side of the hotel. On balance would Defo recommend the Europa as good value for money & modern facilities. Would recommend a trip to Lindos by bus 5.50€ cheap . Just over an hour journey but worth it. Costs 12€ to see acropolis. The photos are taken from the balcony of Studio 701

The hotel is located very conveniently, within walking distance from dozens of bars, restaurants, and shops, and even the old town and decent beaches (the one in front of the hotel is rocky). Even though our room (6th floor) was facing the back side, not the beach, the view was pleasant. A great surprise was that our room had a kitchenette, but sadly no cleaning products. The cleaning staff did not remove or clean our dirty dishes. We would have gladly cleaned them ourselves, if we had any cleaning products. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly from beginning to end. The breakfast was surprisingly rich and tasty! The pool was very good, but the adjacent facilities (showers, toilets, changing room) were grim and a bit smelly. Even though I believe there is some work to be done here and there to improve services, overall it was a very good deal and a great experience.

+ I had very nice and pleasant stay at Europa Hotel. Room was very clean and neat. Extra bonus was small kitchen area. It's located close to everything. Windy beach just afront of the hotel. To Ellie Beach just 10-15min walk. Very close to bar street if you are travelling for some nightlife experience. Good breakfast served 7.30-10. - Shower was very small and sometimes water leaked to the bathroom from it. As it is located near main street junction and near bars it's quite loud in the night. Not for someone who want to rest/sleep only on holidays.

We just returned from our week stay at Europa, the location is perfect. Origianally i was alittle uncertain after reading all the bad reviews..i am so glad i ignored them. My husband and i have the most fantastic time staying at Europa. CHECK IN.....We had a late flight and our suttle bus took us straight to the hotel, there is someone minding the reception desk 24 hours per day, the check in was quick and seamless (only needed to see our passports and hotel check in letter). EASY ROOM...our room was great, we had the corner room (room 518) overlooking the beautiful ocean (as you will see from my picture - thats taken from my balcony). The room was very spotless, with a double bed, fridge, stove top (not that we used it). bathtub with shower. Plendy of hot water. balcony had table and 2 chairs to sit back and chill. Our room had air con (work perfectly fine - and no we did not need to pay for it). Mary the housekeeper was amazing (the most beautiful lady you can come across, she would clean your roomevery day, provide new fresh towels, toliet paper and will always smile). she was a breath of fresh air (and would answer any questions you may have , where to eat etc). Thank you Mary for making our stay wonderful. The hotel also has a decent pool (very clean), we used i one evening- nice clean and refreshing (we mainly went to the beach to swim). The Hotel has a shop opposite the reception area for snakes. We would normally go to the one outside the hotel turn left 3rd or 4th shop (cheap and huge variety of supplies). The hotel has pool and ice hockey tables down stairs in the lobby, there are plenty of brouchers of where to go around the island. There are lockers too - we had a late flight and when we checked out we locked our bags in the lockers behind the reception and went out swimming for the day, the hotel provided us with towels and showers so we can get cleaned up before our flight (only charge was 1 or 2 euros for the locker - which were big enough for 2 suitcases). BREAKFAST....the morning breakfasts were very fresh and offered alot of variety and did vary from day to day, eg, diff breads to toast, cake, rice pudding, various fresh fruits, plus cut fruit salads, cold cut platters, olives, fried tomatos, baked beans, omelletes, boiled egges, bacon, sausages, brucetta, crossants, yogarts, juices (help yourself) proper coffee machines (help yourself), varitey of cheese platters. there was something there for everyone ( we had beautiful, fresh, hearty breakfast everyday)...not a single thing to complain about here. it was spot on. the reception staff are very helpful (ask them for whatever you need they will bend over backward to help you) BEACH....The beach is approx 50 min from your front door. if you chose a sunbed it will cost you 5 euros per sunbed. we found if you turn left and walk about 500 metres you will get a nice beach with a step to leave your belonging and sit on (and shade) We found our own little private beaches. when you get out of the hotel - cross the road - go left (we picked up some fresh peaches and bottled water as we knew we would be spending hours at the beach) walk along the beach... in the distance you will see like a swery road (walk toward it - alont the beach). follow the path you will get to like a look out with steps (there are some large rocks in the water) there are stept to walk down to the beach. try this beach, we went here everyday, we had our own private beach, shade - it was perfect and so relaxing. on the walk way above the private beach if you keep walking you will see some stairs and plenty of greenery (plants) walk up those stairs - in the rocks you will see a church hidden inside (go inside and light a candle). the chuch is unattended and they do not take donations. NIGHTLIFE/STRIP.... the strip is downstaris and around the corner from this hotel. So for nights were you are bored take a walk (there are some food stands, great bars for a quick drink and to sit back and listen to music - for the men there are some strip clubs too). everything in walking distance. from your hotel you can hear the music when your doors are open (no big deal your on holidays). if you close the door (its not noticeable). no issue. OLD TOWN...approx 7-10 minutes easy walk up the road..directions, when you get out of your hotel - cross the road there is a shell service station, cross over it, then turn left and walk all the way straight. you will get to 2 medievil looking arches - follow them and you will get into the old town. there are plenty of shops, cafes, bars, resturants. you can walk around for hours. PORT-NEW TOWN - approx 7-10 minute easy walk up the road. directions, when ou get out of your hotel - turn left straight away (do not cross the road)..follow the road all the way straigh and you will get to the port (you can also get on boat tours here ) there fort, windmills, new town are all here (you can walk into the new town and cross over into the old town). BEST HOME MADE FOOD....from your hotel, turn left walk up the road, turn left on the 2nd street. walk approx 50 metres and across the road you will see a small shop its called DINAs ...this is the place to eat. She makes daily specials that all the locals eat at - we ate her almost every day (she is so cheap - and cooks traditional greek food with love) starters we had a mix of spinich , cheese and alburgine pies, food, meatballs with pasta, stuffed peppers, mousaka, besides all the other standard greek food. we always tried the daily greek specials...You need to try this from a greek background and hightly recommend it. TRANSPORT...we went by foot as everything was in walking distance for us and we went to rhodes to get out of the english cold to relax, swim and eat good food. If you go into the old or new town there are buses that take you around the island or you can also get boat trips around the island, or to turkey or other islands too. FINALLY - i am glad i ignored the bad reviews as we had an amazing time in Rhodes - our holiday was everything we expected it to be (and you cant beat the price and location) complaints from us Thank you for reading my honest review

The airconditioning works only half but u need to pay 5 euro a day for it ( since september) . TV remote didn't work so had to.go downstairs for a new one only to find out that the TV didn't work.properly as well. Beds are not really comfortable. The shower is from the middle ages. Haven't tried the breakfast yet but we will see. I understand it's a cheap hotel but a couple of days ago I had a 2 times better room at the butterfly hotel for the same price. To bad I booked this hotel for 3 days. Not really looking forward to the upcoming days here.

The worst experience ever: the pictures are not what you may see inside: very old room with tile on floor, the smallest and broken bathroom (it is absolutely uncomfortable to take shower, etc), 2 beds are always falling apart - (so it rather twin than double room). The apogee of that all is the sink with stove near bed that make you feel sleeping at the kitchen. Besides, there is hall beneath door so you can hear all voices after 7 am, when people go to breakfast. The breakfast is ok for first day - but after no plenty of choice, coffee is awful and there is disgusting smell of cutlery... The location is not that good, since best beaches, centre and old town are closer to Casino. We have checked out after second night and opted for the new, stylish, central located Island Boutique Hotel, almost same price - but you have there real holidays for a couple.
