I generally like to tell the truth about the places where I go, so ... those who go on vacation just to party is the ideal place. Young people (we found a lot of swedish) under the age of 18 who drink all night, screaming and knocking in the door. It is not at all comfortable to go on vacation (to remember that we also like to have fun but not to bother others) and every night after 1 o'clock someone wake us up. In one of the nights, someone just knocked us to the door (this one after fisting in the next door, I assumed he did not have a key!!) and my husband went out to them ... only then did they calm down . The guard man is an elderly man who didn't do or say anithing to them. The street in front of the hotel (direction to the sea) is known on the entire island as the center of entertainment (drink, music to the maximum until 7:00 in the morning). I recommend only if you are the type who party all the time. Plus, the hotel does not stand up to the stars it has, it's clean, but that's all.
The hotel is located directly in the city, nearby the sea, restaurants, bar street. The room was clean and had a mini kitchen + fridge. We had a wonderful view from the balcony. I would recommend this hotel for young people, who don't care of noise from the streets and Swedish neighbors :)
Advantages: clean and nice swimming pool, very rich and tasty breakfast (slightly changing every day), friendly staff, every day new towels and every second-day new linen, very good location. Disadvantages: we were not happy with our room. Perhaps it was our fault because we chose a promo room without a balcony, however, it was very old and had only one small window. The bathroom was a bit terrible - shower area was a corner near the toilet, no curtains, no base, the water spurts out through the nozzle. Very noisy toilet system.
The hotel is in a great location very near to the old town. The staff was amazing, from the receptionists to the pool bar staff to the breakfast waitresses, and I have no words to express how clean was the room everyday. Even at the end, after I left, I forgot a vase with a flower that was supposed to be a gift at my return, and they took cate of it and they send it to my with their expense ...... For sure I would stay in the same hotel again and again.
Stayed here alone while my friends stayed at another hotel nearby. Got a good room with AC, clean towels, double bed and balcony. OK rooms. The biggest minus for me was how rude the security guy at the hotel was. My friends wanted to use the toilet one night in the reception and the security guard started to talk in greek calling me bad things for letting them do so. I could see the receptionist reacted the same way as me, but didn't say anything. One of the female receptionists is also very unfriendly. Fake smiles every time and when I asked to get my passport back it seemed like I asked here to walk around the globe, then when she found it, she started to study it hard. Why I don't know. Good that they have a silence policy from 23-07. Seems to be working. It was not AS noicy as many people below say. Maybe if the service gets better and they change their security company I will come back.
Average hotel, but simple things would improve it. For instance, there is no shampoo, or shower gel in the bathrooms which would be a nice touch. Also in the breakfast hall it would be nice if there were table cloths or flowers on the table. The hotel also needs to be brightened up. Maybe a blue and white theme. Little things to improve it that's all. Although, the beds were a little hard, and rooms smelt. Other than that it was a good hotel. Very quite considering how close we was to bar street. Great location.
First of all: hotel is situated on a bit noisy street. There are lot of clubs and restaurants but it is not something that can ruin your holiday. Second, a hotel needs a bit of refresfment. Wardrobes and kitchenets are a bit old but totaly functional. Besides that, im more than satisfied with this hotel. The staff is more than kind and helpful. The bedsheets and towels were changed everyday and the bathroom was clean regulary. Food was excelent too. Pool was always clean and the service on the pool was excelent.
Before going to Europa hotel, my husband and I had read the reviews about it and we were a bit worried, since while some reviews were very good, others were not so positive. However, once we got there, we had a very nice surprise! The "bad" reviews were mainly about the noisy location: they mentioned that the location is very noisy because it is located on one of the most noisy streets in Rhodes town, according to these reviews. However, it is definitely not a very noisy street (there are many far more noisy streets in this area). You can hear from the room some noise from the street and from the adjacent room if they are playing music or something like that, but it is "normal" noise. Moreover, as I personally tend to wake up at noises very easily, I decided to prevent rather than complain later, so before getting to the hotel I decided to buy ear plugs, and I never ever woke up at any noise during the 7 nights of our stay! So the noise aspect was totally fine. The hotel is clean, the pool is great, perfect location, and the staff is friendly and willing to help. We definitely recommend this hotel.
The room we stayed was looking to pool which is small and only have a few beds in shade. The room was clean with beds on wheels ??? so you can roll while you sleep. The bathroom is very small but always with hot water. The towels were changed daily but some of them had some unwashable stains. But, the stuff are very nice, cool hotel and if you want to be close to bar street and the center for decent price this is the right one.
Been there last year staff-maids are so kind and hardworking, reception was fast and helpful, and a small gesture of not letting us pay our drinks at the pool because of a small delay, made us thankful(because we greek people, have FILOTIMO). Room-Spacious and always clean, with a sea view, you couldn't ask for more,at the price we bought it, REAL value for money ! Breakfast- It was a normal breakfast witout luxuries, but everything was fresh, well prepared and clean. Location-Easy to find, just 2 minutes outside town and 5 to the harbour,no need to say something extra In general, if you are a customer that knows what he pays for,you will be extra happy with what the hotel offers you,and you will be more willing to return back. Happy times!
