Can't fault this place for anything top resort, top staff very friendly and welcoming overall a great place to relax with an ice cold mojito by the refreshing pool. We have stayed in Rhodes many times over the last 10 years and would highly recommend The Elysium Resort and Spa as one of the best we have stayed at. Thanks Lee
From the pictures on here we knew that the hotel would be super nice and it certainly did not disappoint. However, the guest service at this hotel is head and shoulders above any other place I've ever stayed. Truly outstanding.
We stayed at the Elysium as a family at the start of September and would highly recommend anyone visiting Rhodes to stay here. We were greeted by friendly staff and the manager on arrival, who offered us a free upgrade to be an elite club member. This meant that for the first 3 nights we would stay in a junior suite and suite and then for the whole week we were able to have breakfast at the top floor/ rooftop restaurant (with amazing views overlooking the sea) and make use of the elite club lounge which offered soft drinks, prosecco and fruits and cakes. Of course we accepted! We were half board and the food quality and choice was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. At dinner you could also order a main course off a menu in addition to the buffet which I haven't seen before and was a nice touch. For the hotel of that size, the service was also excellent. The pool was big with a nice pool side bar and there was no need to wake up at 6am and put towels down on sun beds as there were always sun beds available! The hotel is right on a beach (shingle) with a beach bar also. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you to Lindos and Rhodes town. I would highly recommend both. Make sure you wear trainers to Lindos if you want to walk to the top of the acropolis to see the lovely views and pack swim wear as the beach was amazing with warm sea and golden sand. At the Elysium there was entertainment on every night but it was typical hotel entertainment and was the only thing that could be improved upon. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.
We stayed at the Elysium Hotel in Rhodes for a wonderful week. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful and was facing the Mediterranean Sea, the food was very good as well. By far the best hotel we have ever stayed in Rhodes.
We, a family of 5, stayed for 3 nights in early October. The weather was excellent, it seems that this is the better part of the island to stay at this season. It was a bit windy but it was not an issue. The staff was highly helpful. The location is great, not too far from Rhodes old city. The premises are excellent. The highlights were: Water sports just beside the hotel, using the ferry to Rhodes that stop on the beach, about 500m from the hotel and the Escape room at the hotel.
We had a great stay in this stylish, very high standards resort. The staff was very kind and always ready to help with a big smile. We enjoyed particularly the spa and the top roof restaurant in which we had a great dinner. The private beach was excellent, specious and very relaxing. This resort is highly recommended.
Stayed for 7 nights in early October as a young couple. We found this hotel to be a lovely place to stay - it was very clean, well maintained and the rooms were of a very high standard. We had a great balcony and sea view. Food on the whole was very nice. A very wide selection at both dinner and breakfast buffets, and there was plenty to choose from for health conscious diners (diabetic jam, rice cakes, low fat cottage cheese, goji berries etc etc) The only downsides were that the food/drinks available from the beach bar/non buffet restaurants were very expensive. As a result we ended up spending a significant amount during the day if we were just around the pool etc Staff were very accommodating, and we were delighted to get a 6pm late check out for €50, to allow us to shower and rest before leaving for a very late flight. Would definitely recommend, however younger couples be aware that this hotel is very popular with the older age groups, so it's an older vibe
Some 8 km from Rhodes Town, but shuttle service is smooth and comfortable. Reasonably quiet hotel in a beautiful location with exquisite dining facilities and extraordinary breakfast buffet. Rooms are very comfortable and well amintained, but a little better attention for cleanliness would make it perfect. Very beautiful, large and nice pool, direct access to private beach with very good accomodation. We had a very pleasant and tasteful holliday thanks to the very friendly staff of the hotel.
Wow wow wow wow wow!!! The hotel is 5* and boy it lives up to the billing!! I've never stayed in such an amazing hotel as this one. Service is 5*, food is varied and nothing but exquisite. Staff are friendly helpful and always happy, facilities are amazing, massive pool, tennis court and an on site supermarket that sells pretty much anything you need. The room in which we stayed was clean, the bed is spacious and very comfortable, and a good sized tv. The bathroom is tilled to a high standard, with a shower/bath unit which always had hot water. The hotel overall is always very clean, with beautiful decor. After reading some of the bad reviews I'm utterly gobsmacked that anyone could leave a bad review. What an amazing experience we have had here, I would urge anyone to book a stay here. Thank you Elysium for giving us the most amazing experience of my life. I just wish every hotel could be this good! ❤️❤️❤️
we had an amazing weekend in this 5 star hotel. the hotel looks brand new, very well maintained, it has a private beach with a bar, a big beautiful pool, 3 restaurants across the hotel and a spa. *Tip- if possible ask for the rooms in the main building which are nicer and have a great sea/pool view. also, we took half-board and were a little afraid of it BUT, the food was really good! new dishes everyday and tons of variety. the hotel is located about 10 minutes drive from the old town so its pretty close. overall- a great resort, very recommended!
