Almost everything about this hotel is just fantastic, in fact, the only reason I say almost everything isn't so much a failure, it's just when the whole place feels like a 5* and you experience something that isn't it stands out. It's not 5*, but you'll be fooled most of the time you are here that it is. We stayed Sept 2018 in the Lounge 800 area, which was an upgrade compared to staying here previously, hey, you've got to be good to yourself. I'll review this area and the experience. The Lounge 800 area is a complex of approx 24-30 apartments built around a pool and bar that is exclusive to the guests staying here, it is furthest away from the main hotel and beach, if you don't want to walk much, be aware it's a 4-5 minute walk to the hotel from here. They refer to them as 'bungalow with pool view' for any on the 1st or 2nd floor or 'suite with shared pool' if they are ground floor. The bedrooms are tastefully modern, air conditioned, with comfortable mattresses and high quality bed linen and towels. They have a generous living room area, a large bathroom and a wet room walk in shower. Wifi is free and excellent. This area feels like a boutique hotel within the grounds of the whole hotel complex. It's was mainly couples and only the odd family who stayed here. The barman, Nicos was just superb. When the espresso machine failed one day he was straight over with one the next morning when it was fixed joking that I will now be awake for the day unlike the day previous. He knew your drink and would attentively offer whenever he was clearing up around you. You could if you wished, never leave this area until the evening (except there is far too much nice food to be had in other areas of the hotel). The bar is well stocked with a massive array of premium international brands and some very tasty lighter dishes of salads, sandwiches, pizza and pasta. If you are looking for the ultimate in relaxation and general sun worshipping, this is the area to be. The pool is a nice size, there were always comfortable sunbeds available and it was a great sun-trap. Once the area had closed, this is when we would walk into and use the hotel amenities or visit the beach area. New for 2018 was an app that allowed you to book into any of the onsite restaurants, it's a fantastic addition to the hotel and prevents waiting at the reception as was done previously. This is what I think makes this hotel unique, there is so many different choices it is as if you were in a resort taking in a different restaurant to eat out in every night. There is also the main buffet restaurant, which is consistently great too. What I really like about the buffet restaurant is instead of a incredibly large area of serving stations where you have to walk around to find out tonights dinner choices,it's quite compact and you can grab whatever fish/meat or pasta alongside plentiful amounts of veg instead of aimlessly walking around the side of a large restaurant in other hotels. After the evening meal is finished the only downside for me follows. Where the main bar to the pool functions great during the day, it is a let down on an evening. There is the fantastic champagne bar and large lounge area (shout out to George who is a superb asset to your team) and the Cocktail bar (shout out to Halil, another excellent and long serving member of your team) but you are faced with the tables outside by the pool or a windy terrace by the cocktail bar. I feel like it misses anything that resembles an up-market bar and the place should really have one. Maybe it will be upgraded in the future, but the bar area where the pool tables are and the very outdated sunken dance floor is completely under-utilised. A minor criticism for what is otherwise a fantastic hotel. The only other negative I encountered refers to our first stay in the main hotel in 2017. Though the hotel rooms are lovely, they did not refurbish the toilets and whilst fit for purpose and decent they did stick in comparison, they are also a little restrictive when having a shower compared to a more modern suite. The carpet in the stair landings and walkways to these floors were similarly outdated. When everything else looks so modern and clean, they tend to stick out a little. As I say, minor criticism, we like it that much we decided to take an extra holiday and visit it again at the end of this year too. I'd wholeheartedly recommend the upgrade to the Lounge 800 area rooms, but if you don't want to be walking twice a day or prefer a lively main pool and the animation team, I'd consider staying in the main hotel complex itself.

We stayed at Eden Roc last September and had a fantastic stay, as such when looking for a holiday for this September we couldn’t find anything to meet the high standards - so we are coming back again 08 September 👏👏 we are so excited 😎 The hotel is beautiful and all public areas spacious and well looked after. All the staff provide excellent service and especially George who went above and beyond expectations taking time at every opportunity to speak with us - my husband Mr. Dave 😊 in particular enjoyed their conversations. So many restaurants to choose from and the food at every one was fabulous we particularly enjoyed the Meze and the Teppanyaki restaurants. We were upgraded to executive suites and these rooms were fantastic and the sea view beautiful (hope we may be upgraded this year 🤞) The entertainment team were great and worked so hard both day and night to provide a range of different activities and always happy! Counting down the days 204! Anita, Dave, Ann and Trevor

We had our honeymoon June 2018 here. When we arrived it was late at night. The hotel first of all checked us into a twin room and also not what we paid for. We were not happy given our tour operator and I had been in touch; honeymoon/ married couple. They offered another room which was worse than the first. We had no option but to stay the night in the first room. Not a great start. The next day we met Maria and the manager who were fantastic and quickly got things turned around - we got an upgrade. We were very grateful things changed although it should not have happened in the first place and hope the lesson has been learned. The resort is fabulous and we had a wonderful time. We would go back again and recommend, which we have done. I am coeliac so no wheat or gluten - this was not an issue and they went out of their way to accommodate. This really helped make the holiday better, not just for me but also my husband. It meant we could relax. All the staff were great and went above and beyond. The place was very clean and food and entertainment was really good; lots of restaurants on site. Everything felt 5 star. What I would say is that certain sections do need an upgrade so hoping that's on the cards. We will definitely be back! Many thanks to all for helping make our honeymoon memorable. Visited here in September and I can honestly say this was the best place I have visited. The hotel is very clean and well run by staff and management. The hotel has lots of restaurants on site and are beautiful. The food in the main restaurants is lovely and plentiful. Would highly recommend this hotel and is in a beautiful location.

Returned once again this August after 7 or 8 visit to this resort in rhodes (and the first time with my 2yo son!) Especially enjoyed the latest additions such as the teppanyaki restaurant , the a la carte lunch restaurant and the beachside breakfast buffet. Kostas in the main restaurant, nikos at the beach bar and michele head of entertainment always greet us back like old friends. Will definitely return next summer.

We visited the Eden Roc in October for a week's stay. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and had been upgraded to a bungalow room. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and fruit. This room was lovely with plenty of storage and split level bedroom/ living area. On our third night we had an issue with some water coming in from the room above and we were more than delighted to be offered a move to one of the newer pool suites. Only took 15 mins to sort this out and even had our wet laundry done for us. We were in heaven! Spacious suite with a bathroom each! Actually felt like we were in our own new apartment. This gave us access to Lounge 800 - exclusively for the pool view and pool suites. Here we were spoiled by the lovely Nicos who always served with a smile. He made the best cocktails including his own special recipe and excellent breakfast accompanied by freshly squeezed orange juice. We chose this hotel as there were many choices to select from for dinner. We visited each restaurant and enjoyed every meal. It makes for a memorable holiday experience to be served by friendly staff and to sample such delicious food. We particularly loved the Asian and the show cooking at the Teppanaki. The buffet at this hotel has to be one of the best we have had at an all inclusive hotel; lots of choice, well presented and most importantly all food was hot. À We love to swim and relax- there are many areas dotted around so that it always felt that you had your own space. Never an issue funding a lounger. The sea was warm and the pools refreshing . The hotel organised us the hire of a scooter for 2 days. This was good value and we were able to enjoy a road trip to Lindos and Pefkos and stop at some of Rhodes magnificent beaches. The staff in this hotel go that extra mile to make sure that you are well looked after. Yvonne in the shop, Dimitris at the beach bar, Nicos at Lounge 800, George at the champagne bar all were friendly and took the time to chat. Thank you George V for our excellent holiday , we hope to return very soon and bring our friends too. We hope that you and Josephine enjoyed the shortbread! Next time we'll bring more for you to dunk in your tea!

2nd holiday to this superb hotel.Arrived late in the evening, quick check-in and discovered that we had been up graded to an Executive Suite.Suite is large, airy, and luxurious with both shower and bath,King size bed, sufficient storage space for the clothes we had brought for a three week stay, seperate lounge area with television and tea coffee making facilities and access to the large double balcony. Room was cleaned daily and towels replaced on a daily basis. With 7 restaurants (6 a-la carte) there is no shortage of places to eat although the a la carte need to be booked.Food is of a very good standard in all restaraunts, guests with special dietry needs can be catered for, just inform the duty staff.Plenty of "watering" holes on site with our favourite being the Champagne bar and the Beach bar, very attentive staff,. Visiting the local sights is no problem as the hotel can organise taxis for guests just ask at reception, buses are also available from the main road, approx 15 minute stroll. I would like to thank the staff and guests who came to my aid after a medical episode at the beach bar on our third evening namely :- George V ((Hotel Manager) Marco (food and bev manager) The hotel Doctor whos name escapes me,the lovely Despina (host) .Medical problems are under control thanks to the advice of the Doctor.Thank you all.. Thanks go to all staff at the hotel who made our stay so special, especially George V,Marco,Despina, AA ,Daniela Elena+,Stepano,+Alexandra,Anna and Marita her cousin and their respective teams in the Mediteranean and grill restaraunts.George from the Champagne bar,all the bar staff we met at the beach bar,George,Giani and the lovely girl whos name i have forgotten but who let the hotel just before we left,of the greek and sea food restaurant.Thank you all very much. My partner and i (Mrs Pat and Mr Brian) cannot wait to go back again in May and Sept 2019.See you all again then

Total relaxation. Arrived late at night and went straight to bed, opened the curtains the following morning to be met with a fantastic view of the beach. Sunshine all day on the balcony. Food was excellent especially the themed restaurants, good quality wines and international brands of spirits. All the staff were pleasant and worked hard even though we were there on the penultimate week of the season. The only annoying feature in the room was the shower, the taps and shower extension protruded from the centre of the wall and it was virtually impossible to actually stand under the shower. Will certainly be returning soon.

Can't fault this hotel for location, easy access into Rhodes old town taxi or bus very cheap fares...Set right on the beach with a lovely bay for swimming, plenty of sunbeds clean towels every day. A fine selection of food in the restaurant so you won't go hungry..And finally the rooms , clean tidy & well equipped for your holiday needs.

We returned this year for the second time. The hotel is fantastic and great value. The food to delicious and nothing tops ‘Argie’s’ cooking at the Teppanyaki restaurant. He is really funny and sets a brilliant atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble for The manager George. He organised a plate of sushi (at my request) for my 4 year old for lunch one day. The Champagne favourite spot!! George is friendly and remembers your favourite cocktail!! We requested a late check out for the day of departure - they could give it to us in our room (The Royal Suite) but found us another room free of charge!! You can use all hotel facilities, bars & restaurants until your taxi collects you to take you to the airport (even though you may have checked out at 12 already)! The staff are friendly and the entertainment team are great. They all work long days but still friendly no matter what time of day. I would highly recommend this hotel for a family or adults holiday - I will most certainly be returning. It’s great to see the same staff year after year! Thank you for the memories!!
