Everything about the Atlantis City hotel was wonderful. The staff is really incredible and friendly and helpful with anything you ask. The location was great near car rentals, restaurants, shopping marts and only perhaps an eight minute walk to the fortified Old City. Also, only a few blocks from the beach. The breakfast was much more than usual in Europe with a changing menu each morning of different styles of eggs and fresh items. I would stay here again for certain.
This hotel is in a good location, within walking distance of good cafes, the harbour and the old town. Most of the staff are friendly. All I require when travelling is a good bed and a decent shower. However this place (room 207 in particular) has neither! The beds were hard, no extra blankets or pillows and for some reason the bedding was folded on the end of the bed each day and we had to finish making it each night. The bathroom is very small and badly designed. The shower base filled up with water, There is a ridge in the bathroom floor which is quite dangerous, especially for older travellers, and we had to remove the toilet roll so it didn't get wet while showering. (see photo's) There is no space at all for toiletries and the towels are very hard. There are stairs leading up to reception and no porter to help which may be an issue for some. The "book exchange" in the lobby is a great idea.
The location is great, the room was very clean and the food was very delicious. Great staff, friendly and English speakers. Our staying was amazing. Not many parking places in front of the hotel but still you can find one down the street, we had no problem finding a spot every night.
Very good hotel. The room, all the area near reception and restaurant was clean. Very kind staff - helpful receptionist, the cleaning lady, and specially a gentleman that was serving in the restaurant, he was so attentive and so frendly. Breakfast was very good also (english breakfast). I defiantly recommend this hotel for all the types of trips.
The Atlantis City Hotel was lovely, very clean and modern, very good location, only down side was you had to pay €30 for aircon! Most of the staff were very friendly, would definitely stay again! Would also recommend the bistro, 1 - 2 minute walk away and the staff are so lovely there, could not recommend enough!
Well situated in a lively, but not manic, neighbourhood near the old town, our room was comfortable and kept clean. The breakfast certainly better than "fit for purpose". Whenever we needed help the staff were courteous and useful. Recommended
Stayed for one night whilst holidaying near Lindos as we wanted to sightsee the old town and experience the evening in Rhodes without worrying about getting home. Perfect choice location wise, five mins on beach, restaurant all around, five ten mins to old town. All staff could not have been more welcoming from arrival to breakfast to an evening meal at sister restaurant ampelos in the evening. Rooms modern and practical, small balcony to sit out on and clean. Not much view but we were not in our room for long anyway. Nice bar/terrace by reception for morning coffee or afternoon refreshments. I was confused as thought there was a roof terrace but this is not the case. We managed to park car on the road outside, although I am still jot quite sure of parking restrictions in Rhodes! Parking space a premium! Lovely stay , would recommend even if staying in Rhodes for a week, as great location. Would go back.
Stayed here for a week at the beginning of September. The hotel is ideally located, 5 minute walk to the beach and old town. We had a balcony room which was spacious, this included air con, safe deposit box, TV and mini fridge. The room was cleaned every day during our stay and the cleaners were non obtrusive. Breakfast was served between 7:30-10 which included a continental style breakfast (cheese, meats, cereal etc) and a hot buffet (beans, scrambled eggs, potatoes, mushrooms, boiled eggs). The hotel was close to a number of restaurants, ampelos, savvas grill house, Nikos fish taverna and belmo palace to name just a few. The hotel offered a discount of 10% if you dined at ampelos as it is the hotels own restaurant. All the staff were very welcoming and chatty. Check out was at noon and they do offer lockers to put your cases in at a cost of 2 euro a locker if your flight is a late one. Bags could also be left at the side of reception at the owners risk if you didn't have 2 euro. I would highly recommended Atlantis as a base to explore Rhodes town as its modern, close to all amenities and offers a very good service at a low price.
We stayed at the hotel for two nights at the end of August an it was totally disappointing! Although our room was at the top floor there was no view, and the cleanliness definately was not ideal. When we would shower the water would stay at the shower floor, the chiffon was probably clogged, and there was NO HOT WATER! The staff at the breakfast was very rude, and the guy in charge there was screaming out to clients to leave the breakfast room as soon as it was 10am even though the room was still full. At the check out the owner, with totaly unprofessional manners, tried to charge us double rate, although we had purchased an offer through booking.com, saying that there could not be such a price for the room and that there was a mistake. When she finaly realized that the mistake was her own she didnt even excuse for it and she wouldn't give us a receipt! It's a big pity that such people operate hotels and represent Greece to visitors from abroad. I wouldn't stay there again nor recommend it to anybody unless I wanted to ruin his vacation!
A very nice, clean, cool hotel. Good service upon arrival, air conditioning costs but it isn't much. Rooms cleaned and tidied every day. Good location- a short walk to the old town, beaches and other places of interest. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Would recommend!
