Since I used to work with customer service for many years, I’m probably the «worst» customer to have. I’ll try my best on this review: 💁🏽♀️Hotel straff: everyone we met from reception, market, poolside, spa, cleaning staff and restaurant were all very polite, positive and with a genuine smile in return. 🏨Accommodation/room: We booked a room with balcony and sea view. We got a room on the ground floor with «pool-view». Here it could be some issues with booking details between the hotel and travel agency (TUI). Anyway, we made a complaint right away and happily recived a room on the 3rd floor with balcony sea view the next day ☺️🙌🏻 Room very clean, as you should expect a 5 star hotel to be 👍🏻 🍽Restaurant: Best breakfast buffet I ever tasted! Also the dinner buffet had it all. Greek evening was the best for me ☺️ Also try the greek pizza at the beach bar!🍕 (We didnt get to try Thallasa beach restaurant). 🏊🏻♀️Poolside/activites: Big and clean pool. There where many activites to join all day. Such as: mini-golf, aqua-gym(in the pool), tabata, easy-yoga, darts, Ping-pong and many more. Also a tennis cort, basket cort and a small gym-room. 💆🏼♀️Spa: We didnt try the spa but I bought some products there for a nice price, and the staff were very friendly as well. 🏖Beach: the hotel is close to the beach, but the beach is not my cup of tea. Meaning, the sand is rough and mixed with small pellet stones. (Note that I really dont fancy tea that much either, but all inn all, you can’t blame the hotel that its a rocky beach)🤷🏼♀️ I’ll wrap it up now: 🤩Highlight of our stay: breakfast and dinner buffet! 5/5!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We stayed here as a couple from thursday to sunday , we arrived by taxi which took less than 30 minutes and €32 Euros from the airport . we was greeted by the concierge who took our bags into the grand looking lobby . Check in was easy and was very pleased when we was upgraded to a suite with stunning views of the pool and ocean . the porter took our bags to the room and we was impressed with the room , although smelt slightly of fresh paint it soon disappeared after a blast of the air con . We had booked directly with the hotel so had a free evening meal which was buffet style . lots of choices and very friendly staff , very attentive to clean empty plates etc away and refill drinks . lovely to sit outside and enjoy being away on your own . We slept great In a comfy beds with enough pillows , we phoned downstairs and asked for an iron which was promptly brought to the room . Breakfast was buffet style again , the choices was incredible and something for everyone , fresh fish, english style , continental , juices , made to order omlette . we was impressed ! Again great staff , spa was fabulous we had a massage included in our package which was lovely. Pool area and beach was spotless and we really struggled to find faults with the place . The hotel over all was amazing ! So helpful and made our stay very enjoyable . There's a bus stop direct outside to the old town €2.40 single and they run every 20 minutes , great value . We didn't stay out for the entertainment as we was at a family wedding so can't comment on that . Pool bar served Amazing street food of pitta kebabs , drinks was good although €9 for a cocktail soon adds up but its what you expect for a 5 star ! You will love it here , beach is super clean and a few pebbles to the water wish i had my beach shoes . We loved our stay and can't wait to come back with our children
Amazing hotel. Very clean. Best thing in this hotel is the staff. Everyone is extremely friendly & helpful. Rooms are amazing and clean. fantastic!!!! Sea in front of the hotel is perfect. Swimming pool also. More then enough sunbeds.
We have been to a lot of places and hotels, but this hotel was one of the best places. We arrived around 11 am and were greeted really friendly and got a freshly squeezed orange juice. Our room was ready and we didn’t have to wait until 2 in the afternoon. The staff was really friendly. Kostas, who works at the bar, made our stay even more enjoyable. At dinner, Maria and Evangelia were super friendly and always willing to assist. We would definitely come back.
I have to say I never aimed for a vacation just to relax except this one. And I picked the right hotel. Very complete choice of breakfast, nice pools, nice views, nice rooms, plenty of choices to wine and dine. And planned shows, aqua gym and a whole lot more. The sandy beach was sparkly clean, water was warm enough. The service was professional each time.
A week long stay late season. The hotel is lovely with very nice rooms, ours with a sea view where we could watch the dawn. There is loads to do, extremely clean and the surroundings are quite beautiful. The food was superb, the staff were really terrific, clearly very proud of their hotel and genuinely friendly, as is the Greek way, a real joy to be around. We loved the various bar's and outside restaurants and the cocktails in the main bar were great. I thought the drinks were reasonably priced for a hotel of this quality, and they are still cheaper than my local in Surrey. The beach and pools are real highlights, and it made it a difficult choice each day. Unfortunately we had to leave as the hotel was closing for the off season, I guess there is always next year.
We had a week at the end of September.. Hotel and Staff are amazing and the chef was incredibly helpful with my food intolerence.. The evening bar staff, especially Stamatis Kantinos and Angel Kerin who were so attentive with myself and my elder Father, and without their warmth we would have been lost as there sadly was a lack of smiles or politeness from the other guests.. We did have a game of 'spot the smiler..!! Overall a pleasant and relaxing stay with great facilities.. Evening entertainment was not really up to scratch for a 5* hotel and repetitive.. You need some new talent to keep your guests entertained and involved for future reference. Thank you Stamis and Angel and hope to see you both next year..
Just returned from our 5th consecutive visit to this hotel.again not disappointed. All areas of the hotel are cleaned to a very high standard.the rooms are very spacious and of a high standard.the superior delux sea views are just beautiful and fitted out to a high standard. All the staff at the hotel are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food choice is exelent and of very good quality kitchen staff go to great lengths to present every item of food immaculately.and the waitresses do a marvellous job looking after you. The swiming pool is very well maintained and cleaned every morning.the beach area accommodates plenty of Sun beds and umbrellas all Sun beds have a mattress adding to the comfort the sea is warm and safe for swimming this is a blue flag beach. Swim shoes are a good idea because of the pebbles and shingle on the beach but this does not spoil its beauty. I can speak highly of this hotel having stayed in hotels around the world this hotel rates as one of my best and shall once again be returning in 2019.We are not boring but this hotel ticks all our boxes.
On arrival at the hotel reception desk, we were greeted by the receptionist who was most helpful and very polite, and arranged for the bellboy to take our suitcases to our room, who was also very polite too. We had a deluxe superior room, with full sea view. The food was excellent, with so much variety of dishes available for all to eat. New toilets and changing facilities are available on the beach, which made a vast difference. The waitress, Maria in the dining room as always was excellent, but we always asked for Maria through personal choice. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Sebastian, who worked so well and hard, and most helpful at all times whilst he worked on the reception desk, and deserves a big thank you! Staff and waiters at the Beach Bar and the Myphos Bar all gave an excellent service. We found Filimonas to be polite and helpful with a good sense of humour. We also, we would like to thank Stephanie and Babis for their hospitality, and customer service throughout our 2 week duration.
Althought October is considered an Autumn month, Summer was still there. The place was very well-located. The hotel itself keeps a neo-classical rythm, with beautiful marbles and granites reminding luxury hotels in Las Vegas. The personnel was very polite and there was a variety of activities suitable for famillies. The music around all areas was excellent. Overall, the pricing for that offered could be said friendly ;) well done!
