My 11th visit. Every year there is improvements at the hotel. The gardens are beautiful, very well kept. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and wellcoming. Sea view rooms are lovely with table chairs and sun loungers on the balcony. If you have special needs the staff will do their best to accommodate you. There is a bus stop nearby and plenty taxis, the hotel has a mini bus which you can book 20 euros to the airport. Can't find anything negative to say

Just got back from our holiday in Rhodes where we stayed at the Olympic Palace Hotel, the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in! We stayed half board but prefer doing this as we don’t feel like we have to stay in the same place to make the most of it, we had breakfast included but could choose whether we had lunch or dinner as well. We chose lunch and had it at the aquamarine poolside snack bar, again, the staff were very helpful and the food was brilliant. As it is currently the start of the season the weather was good but it definitely warms up a lot more as the season goes on, I couldn’t find a single fault with the hotel or the staff I had an amazing holiday and I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay!

Just returned from Olympic palace, we have stayed here for the last seven years and love the friendliness of the hotel staff , they can't do enough for you, we have just been introduced to the new chef ,his food is amazing, there is a massive choice to cater for everyone! This hotel is immaculate ,the pool area, toilets, gardens, etc. for anyone who likes to stay &watch the entertainment, you won't be disappointed, the rooms are comfortable& there's plenty of space to hang your clothing in the walk in wardrobes , & the balcony are big with 2 sunbeds which is a nice touch, the view is great if you book a sea view room, the hotel staff make your holiday a memorable stay you will never forget

gothis hotel has been amazing, the food is excellent also. cannot fault it at all. would definitely recommend to anyone looking at staying here. very helpful staff and so friendly all the time.entertainment every night at both bars. only found out as leaving that the hotel had a sister hotel so could have been made aware of this.

This was our first holiday on Rhodes and took pot luck in booking a hotel in Ixia, as we had only ever visited Rhodes Old Town on a recent cruise and thought we would like to see more of the island. Our room was very clean and comfortable, which faced a cliff edge and wished I had book a sea view as did not realise that you could upgrade once we had arrived. We stayed for a week half board. The food was excellent, plenty of choice, very fresh and were able to accommodate dietary preferences and as I am lactose-free were very happy to supply me with soya milk for my cereal and coffee. The restaurant manager, Irene the waitress and Kiri the waiter were the most fantastic, friendly staff we have ever come across on our travels. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean, classy, very well maintained and would definitely go back but would book a sea-view room. The free sun loungers on the beach were very welcome as it was only May, you need somewhere with shade as it was so warm and windy, there is also a toilet and showers on the hotel's section of the beach. As I am a regular swimmer I used the pools daily, the smaller pool is heated but preferred the unheated pool due to the size and not being over-crowded. There is a lovely, well kept garden with 'pods' that are comfortable and shady, a nice quiet place to sit if you want to read a book or have a snooze in the afternoon. There are bus stops outside the hotel and supermarkets, bars, restaurants etc. within a few minutes walk. We found Sebastian's Sports Bar a very friendly, welcoming place to go for a drink or light lunch and approximately 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The entertainment in the Aquaisa Bar on the 8th floor was very good and a great atmosphere and you have the option of sitting outside on the veranda overlooking the sea and town. I would definitely recommend this hotel, but to be honest there is not that much to do in Ixia so best to book a rental car and travel around the island.

We knew the Olympic Palace was an iconic hotel in Rhodes and read lots of reviews and thought this would be the best hotel for us. It’s closeness to the airport and the centre of Rhodes Town was perfect. The lobby was stunning and the reception staff couldn’t do more to help you. We arrived late and were rushed to dinner before it closed then continued checking in once we had finished, which was great as we were absolutely starving a very nice touch. We had booked a Mountain View room but you are so close to the mountain you can practically touch it and the room we had was more suited to a 3 star so renovations would definitely need to be made. So the next day we went downstairs and asked if an upgrade was available and at €20 a night for the rest of our weeks stay we couldn’t fault it and the Junior Suite we had with the sea view and a huge balcony and a double bed instead of 2 singles was well worth the swap and up to the 5 star mark. A sea view room is a must if you choose to stay here. We were half board for our stay so Breakfast and Dinner were included in the price but when we decided to eat out in the evening in the Old Town you could go to Reception and swap your evening meal for lunch which was a great extra! The food was always of a high standard and great variety. The pool area was immaculate as well there was no need to reserve sun beds (as it’s not allowed) and there are so many your spoilt for choice on where to go, they was also a lovely swim up pool bar and Pool restaurant too so you could have Lunch and Dinner in there if you fancied a change from the main restaurant too. All in all we were so pleased, relaxed and surprised by how lovely the hotel was and how friendly and helpful the staff were too. If we ever go back to Rhodes we will be sure to stay at the Olympic Palace again.

Olympic palace ixia is a fantastic hotel.. very clean and well kept. Food wise i can't find a fault. The staff are very kind and happy to help in any way. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody.

I spent some time walking around inside and outside the hotel and other hotels are not in such good shape. Spacious main floors with bars and restaurants in order. The lobby bar is close to luxury ;) Careful crossing the road to the beach and don't forget to visit the island!!

This hotel every time I go is beyond my wildest dreams a really special place right down from the manager, the fantastic guest relations person Meltem, I will always be so thankful to my Grandparents for introducing me to this place because it is my home from home and the staff are amazing and so friendly and have wonderful animation all the time, they are all like my second family ❤️❤️❤️

This is an excellent hotel in general, but when I was unlucky enough to be food poisoned by the dinner one night, the hotel blankly refused to cover even the small cost of the stomach medicine. Quite outrageous and shameful - my stomach was knocked out with diarrhoea for three days and they didn’t even refund the medicine. Beware!
