Have stayed here a number of times before and have never had to find fault, this current visit is of no exception. All the staff from the Manager to the room cleaners are so very efficient and convivial to a very high standard. This is truly a five star holiday location and experience. My sincere thanks to all the staff, a great big thumbs up 👍 See you again next year I hope 🤞
What a fabulous hotel. Visit was with family and friends and we all had a brilliant time. The restaurants are fantastic and the champagne bar is brilliant. The staff throughout this hotel are so friendly and nothing is a problem from reception to waiters to bar staff. Niklas of the animation team is an asset to the hotel and the staff at the beach bar are such fun. I would recommend the spa and the hairdressers both are worth a visit. The evening entertainment is really good. Pool towels are changed in your room every evening - a nice touch
Many hotels say they are 5 stars, but aren’t, however Mitsis Alila Resort & Spa is truly 5 star! We have been to many hotels in many places on an all-inclusive basis, however, Mitsis Alila Resort & Spa has to be at the top of the list, for exquisite hotel surroundings, wonderful amenities, superb service, great food and highly professional, attentive, warm and truly friendly staff. From the moment you arrive at the palatial reception area of the hotel, you just know you’re about to have a truly luxurious 5-star holiday experience and be treated like royalty. The staff greet you with a glass of sparkling wine (the good stuff), and you then have the lovely and professional Mr Michael explain all the hotel amenities on offer during your stay, and boy the amenities are plentiful as well as excellent! Our room was one of the family rooms with private pool and as we walked in my husband and I both went WOW! It is the small attention to details that make a hotel truly 5 star and they are everywhere, from Nespresso coffee machines with an elegant hard wood capsule box full of coffee options, to beach towels already placed in the room (so no need in having to collect them at some pool side kiosk or reception and leaving money deposits here), to being greeted by a table full of treats like a plate of expertly cut fresh fruit , nicely chilled rose sparkling wine and chocolates. The room had two TVs one in the bedroom and one in the lounge (we never had the time to watch as there was so much to do), and the sliding doors led out to the private pool which we made use of! My husband and I would like to say a special thank you to the lovely and wonderful Mr Manolis, who made our room extra special, after finding out it was our wedding anniversary, thank you very much and we are truly grateful for all you have done for us. The restaurant options are plentiful, and all are excellent so you will be spoiled for choice, everyday where to eat. Our favourites were Ouzeri, Pitta Corner, and Italian Restaurant, great food and especially great service with very friendly staff to guide you on the menus. All the bars offer premium branded drinks and a ‘must go to’ place, pre-dinner or post-dinner is the excellent champagne bar. Even going to the Hotel’s private beach there is attention to detail, as it is serviced by a great beach bar with friendly staff and next door is a wonderful tasty pizza bar that makes proper wood-oven baked pizzas, yum! All the beach loungers have thick padded seats which makes for a nice comfortable sunbathing experience. Mr Lefteris, my husband and I would like to take this opportunity to say that you have an exceptional hotel in Mitsis Alila Resort & Spa, with luxurious amenities, wonderful and helpful staff and it has been an absolutely wonderful and amazing holiday experience that we both, will not forget, thank you again. We are looking forward to seeing you again soon. If anyone reading this review is wondering where to go for that very special occasion, or just want to have a holiday where you will be pampered and have a great holiday, you must go to Mitsis Alila Resort & Spa!! Thank you all! Katerina & Paul
We are coming to Alila almost every year, this year we were visiting Rhodes island from the 6th till 11th of May. First time we were staying in presidential suite and it was amazing spacious apartments with two balconies and terrace with jacuzzi. All other things from staff till food was excellent as always. We really liked new thing in the hotel this year - breakfast for adults only in -1 floor.
I Stayed at this hotel at the end of April, early May in 422 room. It was my best experience, I got a great pleasure. The hotel is excellent, the room was nice, the food was varied and tasty. The live music in the evenings in the night bar was super. Separately want to highlight the staff of the night bar they made my stay memorable. The attitude to the guests is good. I want to express my gratitude to Stela Skendaj Concierge agent, she solved all my questions quickly and competently. Would definitely return to this hotel and would recommend to my friends. There is a small remark about housekeeping but it is little things that have not affected the overall experience. Please add hookah in the night bar. Thank you Mitsis!
Where do I start wow just wow, arrived here at 1am to be welcomed at the front door and bags taken off the bus for us and taken away into the hotel, upon entering the most wonderful hotel we were told to sit relax and enjoy a welcome champagne, after a speedy introduction and check in we where whisked away to our room. My fiance and I where quite hungry as we hadn't eaten for 12 hours but that is not a problem here at alila as the main restaurant is open till 4am every evening. Once we had our food we returned to our room to find that it was stunning in every way possible. Spotlessly clean and very modern, the mini bar had 4 different flavour soft drinks and 2 bottles of beer replaced daily. The safe box is free of charge also which is good, our bathroom had two showers and a bath and was ultra clean fair play. When I opened the curtain at the back of our very large bedroom there was a lovely clean blue private swimming pool and our own patio with 2 sun loungers and table and chairs. Inside our bedroom there were two rooms separated by two large smoked glass sliding doors for privercy ect. Nice touch also is that the both rooms have separately controlled air conditioning units, rooms cleaned every day and towels changed twice a day and beach towels are in the room also so no need to go reception to ask or pay. We stayed in room 900 and for us was an outstanding room/hotel and holiday 99 out of 100. Drinks in the knight bar and hotel indoor bar are original stuff like smirnoff and captain Morgan ect, all the Al-a-cart restaurants are tasty and good quality food, the main restaurant is also plentiful and good quality food. Our favourite was the Asian Al-a-cart and the adult only champagne bar is a must, The two girls there ( magna and Christina) were outstanding fair play. Magna realy made us welcome and she was very happy and polite. The most helpful one at reception for us was Alex. Don't get me wrong they were all good but Alex understood us better and was very professional. OK here goes the bad points.. The only very small negative things I could say about the hotel is the mini bar only had two small beers the rest is all soft drinks, could have been maybe a small bottle of wine. And the other thing the private pool was cold and salt water.... But Dont let this put you off as like I said this is a top top place and the best holiday me and my fiancé has ever had..... We have even joined the mitsis friends club.. And are currently looking to go again in October to a mitsis hotel again..
We arrived on 25th April for 10 days. Reception staff, and porter, were very pleasant, and helpful, we got to the room where the porter took our cases, he was chatty, and friendly. The room was lovely, we got the sea view room what we had paid for. The hotel is clean , and modern. most of the staff are friendly. The staff that stuck out in excellent ways were the porter on arrival and departure, he was welcoming and friendly, helpful. All the staff in the Asian restaurant, the staff in the Mexican, the staff in the Italian, the man in the beach bar who come round to you asking you if you wanted a drink, the lady who showed you to your table for breakfast.all these staff are a credit to the hotel, they really tried hard to look after the guests. We didn’t like going into the main dinning room, we only went in there for breakfast after the second day. Apart from the lady who showed us to the table. Some of the staff were a bit rude or walk past you many times before serving us with drinks, ie, one morning, we were sitting over the bridge about 7.45am, we waited for about 15 minutes , for coffee, the waitress come over and said you’ll have to wait until she had finished setting the tables up, cutlery and napkins( they open at 7am) another morning we sat in the main dining room, waited again for about 20 minutes to be served,I ended up finding a manager, as there was very little staff around, he said take a seat and he would find someone, the waitress come over, and said they were cleaning cutlery in the back. We always waited to be asked for coffee/tea at breakfast apart from the last 2 days, when the lovely lady who showed us to our seat, asked if we were having a nice time, I said we hate coming in for breakfast, she asked why, I told her about every day had to wait up to 20 minutes to get served, the plates where never taken away, still on table when we left( this happened 8 days out of 10)staff walking past. The lady went and had a word with a male waiter, who come over and asked what we wanted to drink, and plates were taken quickly, that was the last 2 days. The pizza place in the beach did nice pizza , the man snapped at my husband, for asking for 2 bits of pizza, 1 each for him and me. We ate in the other restaurants , and snack restaurants to stay out of the main restaurant. I used to order a white wine and a lemonade, I only got this a couple of times, I got white and lemon Fanta, then I worked out I had to ask for wine and sprite. There is not enough sun beds on the beach , after 9.30 people where walking around trying to find a sun bed, but they were all taken, this happened everyday. The maid cleaned the room well, but 85 per cent of the time , not done before 2.30, so afternoon naps didn’t happen. Beach towels where collected about 7.30, and not being returned by 9.45pm, having to ring reception a couple of times. There should be a manual in the room, to explain what and where things are on the hotel. A standard letter was in our room the day before we checked out, saying that if we had issues to see guest relations before we go. we also got asked on check out. I didn’t have the strength to argue, or be told I am wrong, I know how I feel. This hotel could be a fantastic place, if it sorted a few issues out. We joined the mitsis membership, no benefits what so ever for the white card, and got told this at reception when we checked in. We would not return to this hotel, as I didn’t feel valued. We go to Blue Domes in Kos in October, we are hoping this is better. If not we will stick to the Riu chain , who we usually go with, ( they don’t have any hotels in Greece).
Currently staying at this superb hotel again - amongst the many other amazing amenities on offer here they have a fab spa. So.....today my daughter and I had an Ayurvedic oil full body massage each. Our masseuses were Dikaia and Sofia - they provided us both with an hour of pure heaven. We were made so welcome by the receptionist Elena and then received a calming, stress busting, warm oil massage from the expert ladies. We felt so relaxed and cannot praise their brilliant service highly enough. Thank you - we hope to pop back soon.
Fourth visit for our anniversary week and the hotel continue to strive for perfection. We appreciate how all staff are engaged and really want to make you happy. Upgrades to facilities and services from the gym equipment, the touchscreen booking system for restaurants, brunch offering for adults only and very comfortable bed made for a very lovely week with
Hotel was excellent. All inclusive was perfect. Lots of different restaurants were to eat. Love the creperie place. Salty crepes with ham & cheese was our favourite. Italian and asian place were also mind blowing. Try sushi 👌 Little tip for the families: dont go to Rodos in April. Expecially not during easter. Nothing was open and we have a little boring issue with our kids...
