Lindos Royal-All Inclusive

My family really enjoyed our all inclusive stay at the hotel. The buffet had very tasty meals each night, the bar staff were very pleasant and the hotel itself was well designed with nice pools and plenty of seating. The best part of the Lindos Royal was the entertainment team though. I've never met such a hardworking and friendly team. Everyday there were plenty of activities being conducted by the animators and even in their downtime they would join us for a round of cards or a chat. The animators were funny, very friendly and were definitely the Lindos' strongest suit. The animators in the miniclub were particularly outstanding and the kids adored them as well as the girls who ran the aquazumba eachday. All in all I'm very impressed especially by the hardworking entertainment team who i won't forget anytime soon!

This hotel is desperately stuck in the 80’s it’s a faded old 4 star in need of renovation and a good clean. There is 80’s music blaring out all day with nowhere to escape to for some peace, except a quiet corner by the rocks at the back of the hotel. This area has decaying old cabanas with filthy beanbags and tatty sun beds and is covered in second hand sections of AstroTurf which still has the white lines from the soccer pitch it once belonged to. The area with water shoots for children is very old and there is a general shortage of sun beds which if you do find one are uncomfortable and cheap. The ‘green’ areas are poorly maintained more mud than grass which possibly accounts for the dirty walkways. The website photos are misleading and possibly taken in another era. All in all it was depressing. The view was nice though.

Honestly to god I’m never snobby and I don’t write bad reviews for fun but honestly I would strongly advise against this hotel for your annual holiday. The pictures are misleading as my room/ building was dated and my room in the 400’s was next to a block that literally stunk of feces. The food in the buffet was nearly inedible and was so tasteless and the water genuinely tasted of chlorine. The chlorine in the pool was extremely strong were you couldn’t open your eyes at all. The staff are unwillingly to help (as I asked them for sparkling water and she told me to get it and pointed inside and I asked for ketchup and she said they don’t have any.... which I later found out they did) it’s crazy to me how Lindos royal and Lindos village resort are connected yet are polar opposites, it makes you realise how bad the hotel really is. Me and my sister could not wait to leave. My balcony was connected to a odd seated show area (I don’t know what to call it ) and I would be woken up by the sound of American 2012 summer songs like “cheerleader” and “party rock anthem” and i just find that so odd. It was not relaxing I felt like I was put through a bootcamp by the time I left. It had a nice balance view to be fair !

A little disappointed with our 12 night 'all inclusive' stay here with Jet2 Holidays. The room - family suite with sea view - was good and clean with comfortable beds for us and the 2 kids (10 and 13). The air conditioning was rubbish though and did little to cool the room in very hot August temperatures. The food was OK and generally hot if you were able to get to it shortly after it was put out. Good range of chicken, fish, pasta and pizza. Lots of veal. Very stingy on the drinks with lunch and tea. Unlike anywhere else all inclusive we have stayed where you help yourself it is a waiter service. Half a glass of wine (very watery), less than half a pint of lager (never very cold) and similar size soft drinks. Drinks around the pool bars are served in paper cups which is great from a recycling point of view but very small. Lager more froth than anything else and a very limited choice of other drinks unless you were prepared to pay for them, for example €8 for a Mojito and €5 for an Aperol Spritz! Again, these were included in all previous all inclusive resorts we have stayed in. There was food available outside restaurant hours - gyros, chips etc and cake but we had to pay @ €3 per ice cream. Just another example of it not really being that all inclusive. Staff in the restaurants and bars work extremely hard and were all friendly. Staff on reception were always happy to help and offer advice on where to go, how to get there and trips. We took the Captain Vasilis boat tour which was fab. If you visited the beach it was €4 per sun bed. For some reason the Italians staying at the same hotel did not have to pay for their sun beds??? The beach is small pebbles and gets very hot so rock shoes are an absolute must. The sea is beautifully clear and is pretty shallow initially. There is only one toilet that can be accessed from all of the pools and bars which seemed rediculous for such a large hotel. Unfortunately this isn't very nice either. Lock broken and not very clean. There wasn't much entertainment, which was fine for us as that's not what we want to do on holiday. What is strange is that the Italians staying at the hotel with Eden Village bracelets had access to a separate part of the hotel for evening entertainment for kids and adults as well as aqua Zumba on the beach and lots of other activities which were not available to other guests which made it feel like everyone's else were second class citizens. Pools were ok, some very shallow, one very loud and the other had lots of tiles missing from the bottom which my daughter hurt her toes on more than once. I certainly wouldn't consider this to be a 4 or 5 star hotel, more like 3 unfortunately due to lack of basic facilities, stingy alcohol allowances and options, lack of activities and entertainment.and no ice cream for the kids. Really not all inclusive so if that's what you want then don't book here. Finally, there's very little around the hotel e.g. Bars or restaurants. You have to get a taxi to Lindos for any of that which is @€10 each way. I am sorry to say we wouldn't return despite the hard working staff doing their best. It was a very expensive holiday that cost us extra due to the lack of all inclusivity which is a shame.

My friend and I went for dinner at the A la Carte restaurant in the resort and it was amazing! The food, drinks, service and general ambience was outstanding! An enormous thank you to Michalis who gave us phenomenal recommendations, was super attentive, friendly, very well mannered and gave us some awesome tips for our stay in Rhodes. Thank you Michalis for making our experience a very positive one!

We are currently on our last day at the Lindos Royal, we have had a great holiday and the weather has been gorgeous. The hotel is clean and well maintained, we had a shared pool room Which is a must and they are so modern and spacious, great to relax in the afternoon with your own luxury loungers and pool. The food is all really good quality for all inclusive with good choices at every meal and plenty of tables, staff are very friendly. The adult only pool has not got enough sun beds and compared to swim up beds there not very comfy! The worst part of this holiday was the drinks and evening entertainment. Drinks were tasteless and only served in paper coffee cups, you would never get tipsy on them, there is no bottled water available unless you buy it at the shop! The evening was depressing after a few nights as everyone is sitting around playing cards or lying in sun beds as there’s not enough chairs and tables, we saw one live singer which was a good night but after that we went to a little bar on the beach and paid for drinks. Last night we got the bus into Lindos and had a lovely meal and drinks.

We had an amazing week in this hotel with a very caring staff at the reception, restaurant and in the bar. The food was very tasty and the restaurant with the view on the beach was excellent. Again, the staff made a difference! Thank you for everything

i have just returned after a week at the royal lindos hotel with my husband and children 5 and 8yrs old. the hotel itself is clean and tidy and hotel staff are very pleasant, However, the animation team ignored my 2 children the whole holiday (my feeling because we were british). They danced to the same songs every night for approx 30 mins, they then did some singing and dancing on the show stage whihc was all in another language. They even did some sort of presentation whereby there was lots of laughing and clapping and even brought out a cake but no idea what they were celebrating as it was all in another language. no attempt made at all to translate. The pools were either too shalllow for my children 0.04m or 1.4 meters deep. The pool next to the watersides was great (1.2meters deep but the bar and toilets were at the other end of the hotel whihc proved to be a pain. The pool around the tower on either side is a adult only pool. There is nothing outside of the hotel (i.e no shops, bars restaurants ect) lindos town is a 10 min taxi ride. The air conditioning was working but poor. i would not recommend for a british family with children.

We just return from our holidays in that fabulous hotel. With stayed in the room 3013 One of the deluxe double sharing pool. The room is spacious, full renovated.Which was always clean and well maintained.Upon arrival we find a bottle of wine and fresh fruits were waiting for us,something we found a really nice surprise.Do not forget to enjoy the magnificent view from the thematic restaurant.A big thank to Mrs Stavros the hotel manager and Mr Mihalis how were there for us at any time! We will certainly go there soon!

Both myself and my husband stayed here for a week to attend my sister in laws wedding in Lindos. I have to say we loved everything about this place. The room we had had a swim up pool which was shared with 5 other rooms which was amazing (we paid extra for this and it was so worth it). The room was very modern with everything you needed and very clean. My only criticism would be no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. There were several pools you could use including an adults only pool and the beach was a five minute walk. The area itself is not lively with bars and restaurants you would need to get a taxi to Lindos square or Pefkos for that. The buses into Rhodes were very easy and cheap too. Couldn’t fault the food in any way plenty of choice with everything appearing fresh. We will definitely be staying there again
