We arrived late on the 8th of May which was a bit of a shame, we missed a day! But from then on, I have nothing but praise for the staff, the hotel and especially the animation team! I went with my husband and 3 children and safe to say we didn’t want to come home. The hotel was immaculate. Our room was cleaned everyday, clean bedding and towels and the floors swept, and our room was in a fantastic place, right near the pool and pool bar! The food and drinks were amazing, plenty of choices, my children lived off hot chocolate and pogba’s! The restaurant was very busy at times and a lot of the guests were quite rude, no care for small children and a lot of pushing in, it was difficult but we weren’t there long so I didn’t mind so much! And of course that’s not the hotel or staffs fault. There were plenty of activities during the day and if it wasn’t for the animation team, I think the kids would’ve been bored! All of them made us feel especially welcome, speaking to us throughout the day, making an effort with my kids and making us laugh throughout. I cannot thank them enough for that. A massive thank you to Dado and Matteo just for their incredible personalities. I just wanted to take them home with me! Their humour and kindness just made our week. The evening entertainment kept us laughing all night, always a variety and we didn’t miss a show! My 7 year old son fell in love a bit with Elena, a beautiful part of the team, (and if you’re reading this, he misses you!!) and of course to all the other beauties and guys that made everything perfect. We were sad to leave. All in all, this place is stunning, with great staff, beautiful scenery and we’ll keep these wonderful memories with us forever. Thank you all! Becki and the Robinsons x
We came here to celebrate Pascha which we do when it falls late (roughly every three years). Normally the weather down here is the warmest in Greece or Cyprus early in the season - however it was quite cool this time. The hotel is beautiful away from the beach with colourful gardens and three lovely pools and four more shallow pools for kids. There are water slides on all three multigen. pools. There is a busy entertainment schedule to occupy guests and sports eqipment can be borrowed with a returnable deposit of €10. The beach is basically gravel and dark sand, beach shoes are recommended but there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. There are two watersports concessions offering all the usual activities including self-drive motorboat hire. Parasailing was €50 for a single, €80 double. Motorboat hire €50 an hour for the slowest boat. Food was above average for a Greek AI hotel. Unfortunately some of the better Greek dishes do not lend themselves to mass catering however we were pleasantly surprised at both buffets at the range of food offered. On Saturday night there is a special Greek night in the buffet where there was nearly as much choice as in a taverna. I had grilled prawns, rabbit stifadho, salata horiatiki and loukoumadhes for dessert. Later there was a "glendi" with a local (Lardhos) band and dancers. Such fun. Breakfast and lunch may be taken at the main buffet and the beach taverna. There is a vast range of food available so you can have healthy or unhealthy, British, Mediterranean, Greek, Rhodian, Central European as you wish. Only the Scots will be disappointed as the porridge looked very watery and unappetising. Lunch can also be had at the main buffet or the beach. We only ate lunch at the beach. There is a good range of dishes usually two meat, two fish, two vegetable, pasta , several salads , dolmadhes, smoked salmon, tzatziki, tartare sauce, and several breads but no garlic bread. Seasonal fruit and small desserts will complete your lunch, ice cream (powder type) is available at the coffee outlet. There is rotisserie chicken every day. As normal in Greek hotels the fish is the cheaper varieties (saithe I think) - no seabass or red mullet. One day there was mussels saganaki but the options were not really like a typical taverna lunch other than the accompaniments of salata horiatiki, tzatziki and dolmadhes. For the pizza'n'chips brigade there was bland pizza, bland gyros pita and , of course, chips. It seemed to us that without chips many children would starve. The beach taverna is kept scrupulously clean by the hard-working staff superbly managed by Sophia. Without exception the staff are all personable , the two palikaria who work the beach bar exceptionally so. In the evening the main buffet again offers a wide range of dishes, indeed so many that it can take minutes to walk around it. There are a selection of salads, meat dishes, fish dishes and usually a live cooking station. There is little beef, plenty of chicken and pork and little veal bar a decent osso bucco on Italian night , though served without risotto milanese and gremolata as normal. Various flavours of ice cream, including pistachio , are available as well as seasonal fruit and dessers including gateaux and Greek pastries like baklavá. The drinks are all Rhodian, supplied by Vap which means the beer is poor compared to pan-Greek brands eg. Mythos. The wine is from boxes except the sparkler - this makes a decent spritz with a local Aperol taste-a-like.The soft drinks are from a dispenser, coffee is from DE machines so quite good and frappé is included in the AI. Fresh fruit squeezes are payable at €2.50 a pop. The hotel is situated at Lothiarika beach about a mile from Lardhos village. On the way you pass the Lardhos folklore museum, a must visit. There are about five smallish supermarkets a short walk from the hotel, a tour office, and a couple of car hire places. Other than these it's not an attractive place , however there is a bus stop outside with services to Lindhos and Rodhos (Old City) both of which are world gems and must visits. For those hiring a car a circle round the south of the island is recommended to get away from the tourist areas of little attraction. On the way a visit to the village of Asklipió which has a castle, a museum, an excellent taverna, and an ancient church with 1000 year old frescoes. There is where we celebrate the Anastasis liturgy on Easter Saturday at midnight. For those with mobility issues note that although there is a lift from the reception level to the buffet level there are steps only from here to the swimming pool/beach level.
We are so happy that we've chosen this hotel for our vacation. The food, the services, the entertainment - all was great. Although there were many families with children, we didn't feel any disturbances. The hotel focuses not only on entertaining the kids but also the adults - thanks to the awesome animation team for that! Only best recommendations.
We stayed in the hotel for 7 days and we got the best experience. Everything was more than we hoped for. The food choices were really great, everyday we were offered some new meals. The staff was really helpful and they for sure do their best to make your stay amazing. A dedicated animation team is by far the best one, they provide activities and things to do not only for the smallest visitors of the hotel but also for the grown-ups. In addition to their organized shows at late evenings (which brought us a bunch of laughing hysteries), the animation team does a wonderful job in the mornings and afternoons, organizing water fitness activities and sports events as well as occupying kids in the playroom area. Another great thing is that although in the hotel there were a lot of kids, we didn't really feel any disturbances when we were in the pool area as there are a few pools especially for kids which are located quite away from the ones used by people who don't have kids. We are looking forward to going back really soon!
We were looking for a place and hotel where to organize our wedding and also we want family holiday. We are so happy that we choose Lindos Princess Beach Hotel. This hotel is excellent for wedding, children, family holiday etc. In this hotel are so many amenities for both children and adults. Our wedding was amazing. There are excellent people who work in this hotel. They helped to organize our wedding. We are so thankful as helpful they are. Our wedding was like a fairy tale. The sea is right at the hotel, wonderful! There are many activities for children. The hotel area is quite large and just as beautiful as the pictures. we had all the food and drink in the price. Thank you!!!
Overall impression of this hotel is very good, it has a nice layout, plenty to see and do. It is very clean and the gardens are immaculate and very well tended to. Staff are friendly and efficient. Overall I thought the price for our stay was reasonable but lots of little things detract from the experience we thought it would / should be being a 4 star hotel and with such good reviews on here. The food is very average and very repetitive - almost every meal ig is the same stuff, lunch and dinner. They have some 'theme' nights but it's all just variants of the same dishes - it is mass catering, pasta, some salads, chicken, veg etc... absolutely nothing very good and we felt disappointed as we knis ths standard if Greek is generally excellent. We went to a local restaurant for a change, Periklis, and the standard of food here was so SO much better. I understand this is a huge hotel and you need to please the masses but it just feels a bit boring and cooking by numbers. I cannot understand why you only let guests staying under 10 nights dine at the al la carte once during the stay - it just leads to boredom. Plus the al la carte were closed two nights we were here..why? Cost saving I'd say. The drinks are very poor overall too - no fresh juices (well there are bug if you want that it is €2.50 a glass extra?!!), included are concentrated diluted juices. Sajme as at the bars so the cocktails are terrible, really really sweet and week. Really poor. The wine is out a box very average but drinkable stuff. Beer is a local lager - it's fine. You get a 15 minute massage voucher with your room..but you must use it in first two days..why? I'd suggest most people arent prepared enough to organise that within 48 hours of arriving. What difference would it make to extend it to duration of your stay? Penny pinching. The overall tone is food and drink costs to an absolute minimum, which seems to grate against the otherwise high level of service and facilities. It's a real shame as it would be great if the food and drink was up to the same standard but it is quite far behind.
This is a lovely hotel but the food is very poor, lukewarm and of poor quality. We visited the "special" italian restaurant and this was even worse than the eurotrash buffet as all the food was served cold and to add insult to injury we we had to pay €30 for our drinks which were the same as served free everywhere else. Such a shame as the facilities and entertainment are excellent.
Fantastic family family hotel that offers a lot of activities for kids with amazing animation staff. Excellent food and nice rooms. Can not wish more. The hotel surrounding is not so nice and inot nteresting but a car trip to explore the island is a must. You can get a good deal at the reception desk. The resort is spotless clean and very well equipped. We will come back for sure.
Stayed at this amazing hotel again in September 2018 this was my 8 year and it gets better every year the staff from the reception waiters cleaners and management are so friendly and helpful they treat you like family. The hotel is always spotlus the ground keepers work hard all day in the hot temperatures with a smile on there faces. The restaurant staff are brilliant working long hours and always smiling and helpful THE food is lovely and there's something for everybody. The entertainment team work hard day and night . Looking forward too seeing all the staff in 2019 for my 9th year at this brilliant hotel.
nice hotel complex, amazing restaurants and bars. Many part time workers from other countries, all staff plus them were super friendly, polite, nice and always helpful. we stayed in bungalow room, quiet, so clean and in the room enough space for all luggage stuff :-) nice balcony. really good food in both restaurants! only dinner in Italian restaurant was disappointing for us, friendly manager with short trousers, first order for drink and waiter ask us how we want to pay cash or CC - why? music in italian restaurant was some music channel , food good but not surpresing, no miracle SUPER amazing animator team and their program!!!!!!! we spent so nice holiday time in this hotel, thank you
