We had a week in Bellevue Suites in Rhodes just before Easter in April. We travelled as a family of 5, 2 grandparents and 2 parents with 11 year old child. Accommodation. We had a 2 bedroom suite and a 1 bedroom suite (no. 54 and 55). The hotel kindly gave us suites next door to each other which meant we had the 5th floor to ourselves. The rooms were a good size, comfortable beds and with basic kitchen amentities in case you wanted to do some self catering. The views were spectacular of the beach and with good space on the balcony. The week was particularly windy and the wind was ocaasionally quite loud especially on the bedrooms facing more east/north eastwards. The staff were all fantastic. Jenny was a ray of sunshine each day and warmly welcomed us into the hotel. Olga was great in helping looking after us at breakfast. Panormitis and the other staff could not do enough to help us and made us all feel very welcome. There are many good restaurants within a few minute walk. We particularly recommend Louis and Agalma restaurants. The Old Town is a lovely 15 minute walk away. Highly recommend as a great base for exploring Rhodes Town and the Island.

We'd booked the Rodos hotel, but the renovations weren't finished, so they offered us the Bellevue as an alternative. How lucky were we! Located to the north of Rhodes town, but only 15 minutes walk from the old town, and enough places to eat and drink nearby. Johnny's bar was the best for a beer. There's also a great café one street to the east (on the circular road). The hotel is great - very friendly, helpful, professional staff. We were given a two bedroom apartment on the second floor - fantastic. A 30-foot balcony, and another outside the second bedroom. All sea views. No wind problems, as other reviewers have mentioned. Bottle of wine, chocs., and water complementary. Great breakfast - continental or cooked. Parking no problem - free car park across the road. Beach across the front road. Loads of space, with living room and two bedrooms. Honestly, you will not find a nicer place.

4 of us stayed here in November, out of season, in a 2 bedroomed suite. Firstly the suite was spacious, very comfortable with 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a sitting room, kitchenette and a huge balcony with terrific sea views. Everything was well presented, the bathrooms had huge showers and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were most helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was so good. Freshly prepared dishes brought to the table, different every day, as well as fresh croissants and toast, eggs as you like them and pastries and cakes in abundance. Probably the most enjoyable breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. The indoor pool was warm and a good size and the spa was intimate and welcoming. This is a small hotel which values top notch customer service and comfort. It's in a convenient location for the town and the beach and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for somewhere away from the madding crowd.

This is a good hotel in a good location with great views but it is let down by some tiredness, poor attention to detail and a lack of quality. It's small, clean, the breakfast was ok, there's free wifi and most of the staff are friendly and helpful. However, on our first morning our greeting from the hotel manager was barked out like a terrier looking for a dog fight. "Don't go down those stairs". We were too shocked to say that it was a marked fire escape and we didn't fancy using the lift. Perhaps the cause for management concern was that it was blocked with stored furniture all the way down, but "Good morning, how are you?" would have been a better introduction to a discussion regarding 5 star hotel health and safety, not to mention European regulations. Other interactions were more amusing - Q: "Can you please book a taxi to the Old Town?", A: "It's not far, you should walk". Q: "Can you please make a reservation at this restaurant", A: "Here's the telephone number". Helpful maybe, but 5 star ? There are some 5 star investments in in-room entertainment technology, like a television which folds out from the very low ceiling (mind your head). This alleviates the lack of space in the room but doesn't make up for a lack of basic amenities, like curtains which actually cover the window and are not falling down, or cushions on the sun loungers (not that the sun hits the balcony) or 4 pieces of cutlery and crockery when a suite has been booked for 4. Other 5 star touches were missing. The welcome drink was a nice touch but it was a single 330 ml bottle of wine with 2 glasses, any more was extra - we'd paid for a 4 person suite and the hotel knew we were 2 sets of Mr & Mrs. Yes I'm being picky, but is this 5 star ? Some ice in the fridge would have been 5 star, or fresh milk with coffee at breakfast, or a pool that you can actually swim in. I should explain - The open air pool is hilariously in the restaurant and has a bar built over one half whilst the other half is cordoned off with a "No Swimming" sign - not that it would have been big enough to swim in anyway. The indoor pool on the roof is essentially a room filled with water. It has no sides to rest on, glass or wall straight up from the water, no hand rail on 2 walls, you open the glass door and step straight in. It is so warm, gaseous, claustrophobic and unlike any pool you've ever seen before that we didn't dare use it. That was lucky because the pool showers are over the only 2 chairs that were usable on the tiny sun terrace. This is all a shame because some of the staff are lovely - particularly the breakfast waitress who tried very sweetly to paper over the cracks. As I said at the outset, it's a good hotel, a solid 3 stars, and very good value. There are public beaches, bars and restaurants very nearby and the hotel does provide beach towels (tick). Maybe it was just end of season tiredness, but all-in-all it doesn't live up to its 5 star billing and we left feeling disappointed, which is as shame because we loved Rhodes.

When we first pulled up to the hotel I wasn't impressed. Got to the lobby, not impressed, peeked at the pool, not impressed. Then we went up to our room and wow!! Not one bedroom, two, two bathrooms, full kitchen, living room with coffee table that opened into a dining table. Two out of the three rooms were done in modern wood panelling that opened into some serious closet space. Then came the balcony off the living area, big enough for two deck chairs, dining table and four chairs and then some. Ocean views through glass surrounds, just magnificent. Breakfast came with the room and was wonderful. On top of the meal there was a home baked sweet and savoury pastry every morning. We decided to try the restaurant for dinner and were equally impressed. Complaint - yeah - the wind, but I guess the hotel (and almost all the hotels) are situated on the windy side of the island. But this is one fantastic hotel!

We have stayed at quite a few hotels in Rhodes and Bellevue Suites is in a class of its own in terms of rooms, amenities, hospitality and personal service. The hotel is premium five stars with only 12 rooms, all suites plus a penthouse and a deluxe room. Breakfast is made to order and if something is not on the menu just ask. It’s served in the dining room, outdoors or in the suite without addition costs! The suite that we stayed in had two bathrooms, two bedrooms and separate living areas, two verandas where one was oversized with four chairs, a table and two sun loungers. WiFi is of course included and the network has been upgraded this year so neither stability nor speed is any issue (~ 25Mbs). What we most appreciate at Bellevue Suites is the hospitality and the people who are working there. It is always a pleasure to come to this hotel and have a good day made even better!

We stayed at this lovely hotel with our 4 year old in September 2018. It was fantastic. While the pool may not be the greatest for young kids... the island has so much to offer this was a non-factor for our little one. Spacious rooms, nice balconies, great breakfasts, beautiful views, terrific staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

DO not stay here the manager is awful and very rude! Rubbish hotel! Rude owner, spoke to me like absolute dirt and made me feel so small, just because I used the toilet in the reception, even though the man behind the reception said I could use it!

The hotel is very good, we enjoyed our stay. The stuff were great, the rooms are big, clean, the showers are amazing. The location is also very good. I had two problems with this hotel: there is practically no pool, there is a very small one. If you’re traveling with kids, you probably would expect a more fun pool area where you can swim and relax. The second issue is that I’m used to big and luxury breakfasts in Greece’s resorts, while in Bellevue Suits you will find a more traditional restaurant-like breakfast.

I came to Bellevue for a rest after a difficult period. I'm typically a basic traveler - a clean, safe place to sleep and shower is all I need. But this place was nothing like I had ever experienced. From the moment I entered, I felt cared for. The level of attention and care to everything from the decor, the food and room service and the kindness of the people helped me to feel a level of peace that I haven't had in my travels. The location is also incredible. Literally across the street from the beach, I could go in and out of the ocean basically on a whim. There were markets nearby which allowed me to get snacks and groceries, and the suite had a little kitchenette stocked with plates and glasses and even pots and pans. I was able to walk to the Old Town in about 20 min, and it was such a luxury to know I had a home waiting for me. This was a beautiful place to be and I recommend it to anyone looking for solitude and rest.
