We have stayed in many 4* and 5* hotels all over the world - this is one of the best. If I could give the Bellevue Suites more than 5*, I would. A relatively small boutique hotel of 24 rooms/suites, about five years old, it is located just across the street from the Aegean. Having booked two Deluxe sea view rooms for our travel companions and us, we were pleasantly surprised at check-in when the manager told us she was upgrading our rooms to two bedroom suites. They were superb, our suite on the third level and our companions on the fourth offered un-obstructed views. The bedrooms were large, the seating/lounge area located between the bedrooms was equally large, with leather couch and chairs. The bathrooms were large, with walk in showers, and much counter space. The kitchen area contained a refrigerator, microwave, pots/pans, silverware, dishes and glasses. There was even a washer/dryer in one of the bathrooms! This, in short, was very much like a condo. The balcony wrapped around two sides of the building, and had nice lounge chairs and other deck furniture, with a spectacular view of the Aegean and the sunset. The hotel is amazingingly clean, in fact they checked the rooms twice each day. The lobby is nice, but small, as they put their money into the rooms - a great choice. Everything about the hotel speakes of quality from the marble floors in all areas, to the high quality wood paneling, leather furniture, to the leather wrapped door handles. Located only about a 10 minute walk from Old Town and the harbor, it is perfectly located for sightseeing, or laying in the sun on the beach across the street. Finally, the staff from the manager, desk personnel, cleaning crew, waiters, everyone, was extremely friendly, asking what they could do for us, and making you feel like family. If you go to Rhodes ABSOLUTELY stay at the Bellevue, you will be as impressed as we were.
Perfect location, stunning sea view, comfortable spacious suits and great staff. Rooms were very quiet that gives good sleeping quality. Breakfast was superb. Hotel is located right on the beach and there are many good restaurants around. Old town is in walking distance (around 15 minutes). Many many thanks to all staff and managers for our amazing stay in Bellevue. We will definitely be back.
My friends and I stayed here for 6 nights to celebrate a 50th birthday. The 2 bed suite was brilliant, big bedrooms with wonderfully comfy beds and a TV that descended from the ceiling, 2 stylish bathrooms, a large lounge/kitchen and a fabulous full length balcony. All the staff here are wonderful and will do everything they can to make the stay perfect. But 2 stand out, the beautiful, adorable Jenny on reception and Olga the breakfast lady who was so lovely. Words cannot describe breakfast, it was just the best! Everything cooked fresh to order and so much. Its a great location, near really good restaurants and beaches. I would stay here again without doubt and 100% recommend
Stayed here for 2 nights on the last leg of our Greece trip. 2 nights is not enough time in Rhodes, stay longer if you can. The folks at this hotel bent over backward to make our stay wonderful for 2 old ladies. The breakfast chef and waitress Olga were so kind and accommodating. The owners recommended things to do and places to eat and we did as much as we could in our short stay. Upon arrival we were surprised by an upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite, what a wonderful place this would be to spend a whole week and enjoy the ocean and town. The old town was great and close proximity to all Rhodes has to offer. Definitely Rhodesw as my favorite island. Thanks for the great memories
We stayed a week in Bellevue Suites hotel in Rhodes Town and from arriving until we left we had an excellent time during our stay. The hotel had organised for a taxi to collect us from the airport and take us direct to hotel and on arrival at the hotel the manager had kindly upgraded us to a suite as it was my birthday.🎁 Then when we arrived into the suite they had also left a bottle of champagne and some delicious fresh cream cakes.🥂🍾🧁 All these very thoughtful touches definitely made our holiday and my birthday very special indeed. They have an excellent breakfast menu with a great variety to choose from and all served each morning by the very pleasant Olga. On our last night in the hotel we had a delicious meal in the hotel restaurant where the food is all freshly prepared by the chiefs. The indoor pool on the top floor of the hotel is heated and has terrific views. We can honestly say that we tremendously enjoyed our stay at the Bellevue Suites and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of visiting Rhodes.
I never do reviews of places that I stay abroad, but I felt I had to do a review for Bellevue Suites. My 3 friends and I (20/21 year old males) had a suite for a week. Usually when we go abroad together, people are very hesitant about us as they fear we would be loud and obnoxious, being young boys who like to enjoy ourselves and have a few drinks. This was not the case with the staff here. The staff were incredibly nice, treated us the same as all of their customers and would help us out whenever we asked. The owner made us very welcome when we first arrived and one of the other staff brought our bags up for us. One of the receptionist actually encouraged us to go out and enjoy ourselves, saying we came home too early (11:30pm one night), which we thought was brilliant, something we had never experienced before! Even when we did arrive late (4:30am I arrived one morning), the receptionist smiled, asked me if I had a good night and wished me a good sleep. I usually would have been given a death stare for arriving that late. It was nice to have that trust that I was going to be considerate (which I was) while getting back to my room. The waitress at breakfast was always really nice to us, even reserved the nicest table in the suite for our last breakfast there. Breakfast was very tasty, we all agreed that there wasn’t one bad thing on the menu. The room had an amazing view, loads of nice bits were included, like a TV that came out from the roof. The room was cleaned twice a day, by very friendly cleaning staff, and we were greeted by fresh fruit and water when we arrived. We had absolutely no complaints, it exceeded our expectations and they were high to start with. Thank you so much for not judging us and treating us like normal customers. Keep doing what you’re doing because in our eyes, you have nowhere to improve.
The rooms in the hotel based on ours are fantastic. The problem is that the pool situation was not acceptable for us. The upstairs is covered and the street level is tiny. There are no bars as far as we could tell so while you are in the pool you can’t get a cocktail. This was booked through a travel agent. If it was up to me I would find another place.
We had a week in Bellevue Suites in Rhodes just before Easter in April. We travelled as a family of 5, 2 grandparents and 2 parents with 11 year old child. Accommodation. We had a 2 bedroom suite and a 1 bedroom suite (no. 54 and 55). The hotel kindly gave us suites next door to each other which meant we had the 5th floor to ourselves. The rooms were a good size, comfortable beds and with basic kitchen amentities in case you wanted to do some self catering. The views were spectacular of the beach and with good space on the balcony. The week was particularly windy and the wind was ocaasionally quite loud especially on the bedrooms facing more east/north eastwards. The staff were all fantastic. Jenny was a ray of sunshine each day and warmly welcomed us into the hotel. Olga was great in helping looking after us at breakfast. Panormitis and the other staff could not do enough to help us and made us all feel very welcome. There are many good restaurants within a few minute walk. We particularly recommend Louis and Agalma restaurants. The Old Town is a lovely 15 minute walk away. Highly recommend as a great base for exploring Rhodes Town and the Island.
We'd booked the Rodos hotel, but the renovations weren't finished, so they offered us the Bellevue as an alternative. How lucky were we! Located to the north of Rhodes town, but only 15 minutes walk from the old town, and enough places to eat and drink nearby. Johnny's bar was the best for a beer. There's also a great café one street to the east (on the circular road). The hotel is great - very friendly, helpful, professional staff. We were given a two bedroom apartment on the second floor - fantastic. A 30-foot balcony, and another outside the second bedroom. All sea views. No wind problems, as other reviewers have mentioned. Bottle of wine, chocs., and water complementary. Great breakfast - continental or cooked. Parking no problem - free car park across the road. Beach across the front road. Loads of space, with living room and two bedrooms. Honestly, you will not find a nicer place.
4 of us stayed here in November, out of season, in a 2 bedroomed suite. Firstly the suite was spacious, very comfortable with 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a sitting room, kitchenette and a huge balcony with terrific sea views. Everything was well presented, the bathrooms had huge showers and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were most helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was so good. Freshly prepared dishes brought to the table, different every day, as well as fresh croissants and toast, eggs as you like them and pastries and cakes in abundance. Probably the most enjoyable breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. The indoor pool was warm and a good size and the spa was intimate and welcoming. This is a small hotel which values top notch customer service and comfort. It's in a convenient location for the town and the beach and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for somewhere away from the madding crowd.
