We have just come back from this beautiful hotel had an amazing time. Staff in all parts of the hotel were fantastic. Thank you to Fontis for looking after us. Elsa and Julie on reception and are far too many smiley faces in the restaurant to put names too. Lovely food lovely clean hotel rooms are amazing with fantastic views. Thank you we will be back Wendy Barlow
The Atrium Platinum hotel is a very well appointed hotel with excellent views of the Aegean, but its greatest asset are their friendly and courteous staff who made a point of making our honeymoon outstanding in every way.. Thank your very mush to all management and staff.
Can't praise this place highly enough. Spotlessly clean throughout. Large room with just the biggest bed ever. Superb pool area. Great breakfast. Close to taxi rank to take you into Rhodes Old Town. But what makes the place special is the genuine friendliness of all of the staff....always smiling always helpful and brilliant banter.
We booked a 5 day break at this luxury hotel. On arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff and this continued throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and very clean the beds were very comfy. Good selection of food was available on all the sittings. The one main thing though that stands out was the wonderful Friendly staff.
Absolute holiday of a life time! We stayed for a week in the family suite with sea view and private pool, the room was absolutely amazing! The beds are so comfy, and the free bottle of wine, water and fruit on arrival are a great touch. The staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you and the hotel is beautiful! Maid service is great and the room was always spotless when we returned. And the sunset views are something you really can’t miss. A short taxi ride into Rhodes old town, so very easy to get out and see places. Overall a fabulous holiday and would 100% recommend this hotel if you are going to Rhodes.
Went to Ixia in May 2019 and was recieved by the staff in the lobby. Got cooling towels and a welcome drink while checking in. Our bagage was brought to the room where we got the grand tour. Jacuzzi, shower, 2 sinks, nespresso machine with refill every day, 2 beds and a big terrace. The hotel have 4 restaurants: Main restaurant, Asian rest., Greek rest. and a la carte rest. Big pool area with pool bar, plenty of sun chairs. Waiters waiting to serve you The elevators had glass walls so you had a fantastic view around the area. Wellness area with all kind of amazing offers A lovely stay
We had a beautiful large deluxe room with front pool and sea view. All the staff were so friendly and very helpful. Pool and bar staff were so lovely especially Fedra ,Katrina,Tonia and Alex. Buffet breakfast lunch and dinner were always very good and marvellous choice of food. Many thanks also to Nadia for all her care .wouldnt hesitate to come back there again.
Absolutely Fantastic - Don't miss going to this hotel with Jet2Holidays. Great Hotel,/Location, Friendly and Happy Smiling Staff. Nothing too much trouble. Pools/Food/Rooms all Fab. Bus ride away from Rhodes. Cannot find one single fault at all with this holiday. Completely Loved it.
A great hotel, very attentive staff who are also really friendly. Everything in the room worked, including the jacuzzi bath and air con. Dressing gowns, new slippers, complimentary fruit and wine, an espresso machine, no complaints there, plus very spacious. Breakfast served till 11am eve meal 9pm with a good cross section of quality food. We tried 2 of the 3 other restaurants, the top floor was a special occasion celebration and when they realised they brought fresh roses to the table with complimentary dessert. The food and service in both was fantastic. Just to add, we hired a car for a day at reception which I would recommend for a drive around the island for some spectacular views. We've made wonderful memories and will definitely return.
Stayed here half-board for a week in May. If you hire a car, there is free guest parking on level 5 that is sheltered and cool. Check-in was a breeze, taking only a few minutes together with the offer of a glass of fizz (or juice/water if you prefer) and some Greek sesame seed/honey bar snacks. After being shown to the room (private pool with sea view) it was evident that the hotel is spotlessly clean! The room was beautiful with a big double bed, Jacuzzi bath and separate monsoon shower cubicle, well stocked and reasonably prices mini-bar, safe, ample storage, complimentary robes, slippers and towels for use around the hotel, TV (only good if you like watching the news), hair dryer, quiet and efficient air con, tea facilities and Nespresso machine, seating area with table, welcome water, bottle of red wine and fruit, comfy padded sun loungers outside with the pool. The pool itself was clean (maintained externally between 10am-12pm - the pool guys access to clean via the balcony on the other side of the pool glass, never go on your side and there are no handles to enter your room externally anyway) and just the right temperature to not be freezing but allow you to cool off in the sun. The pool is approx 2ft deep. The only issue that was had was new neighbours moving in next door who were incredibly obnoxious (loud music, slamming doors at all hours, dive bombing in the pool and splashing over the walls, chain smoking). They moved in on the last day though so I let it go, had it been earlier I may have had to complain. That said, it is not the hotel's fault that these people were annoying (I'm stretching to find any negative points, to be honest!). One thing to note is that this time of year the private pool on the sea view side get's the sun all day but the main balcony stays in shade until around midday, then it get's sun all afternoon until setting over the sea in front of you. That side of the island get's quite a good breeze to take a little edge off the heat, but don't rely on it in on your sheltered balcony/sun trap! Being half-board, breakfast and dinner were served in the main restaurant (Archapeligos), with a large buffet selection and daily a la carte options. Some dishes on the buffet rotated through themes e.g. Mexican night, fish night. The service was second to none and the food was very good all week. There are other restaurants serving set a la carte Aisian and Greek cuisine (lobster night in the Greek restaurant on Thursdays) that require booking and are not included in half-board. More food and snacks can be had in the bar and main pool area. Can only comment on the main restaurant as these others weren't tried. Other areas that can't be commented on are the main pool and spa as, with a pool in your own room, there really wasn't a reason to go downstairs! A free app is available to download that allows you to order room service, pool side service, make dinner reservations etc. Although we didn't use it to order anything we still downloaded it to have a look and it's a well laid out, easy to use app. In a previous version of this review I said that sun loungers by the main pool can be reserved via the app, this was an error, sorry, sun loungers are first-come-first-served. Housekeeping were very efficient and also left little calling cards if they came to say hello but the do not disturb sign was on. To be honest every single member of staff was incredibly friendly and diligent without going too far as to be imposing. They also seemed to have a fantastic rapport with one another, suggesting a happy workforce with low turnover. Special mention to the bar staff who, every evening, worked themselves to the bone to serve a bar that is packed every night with different local entertainment (nothing cheesy like you sometimes get in package resorts). A bar that busy in the UK with that number of staff would never be able to keep up the same level of service. One actual negative point about the hotel - it is built in to a hill with reception/restaurants at the top and rooms below, pool/spa on the bottom. Due to the design, only the couple of lifts at the "front" of the building go all the way down to the bottom floor, the others seem to stop at the 3rd floor (same for stairs). During busy periods this can cause queues to form at the better lifts and they sometimes seem to "forget" you've pressed the call button. A minor point but worth taking note of when getting a feel for your way around. All in all a fantastic experience though, a hotel that can be highly recommended on a beautiful island. Would happily stay there again!
