Can’t go wrong with a pool, hot tub and bar on site. Location was walkable to downtown Minocqua, but be warned…the city doesn’t clear snow thoroughly, which made some journeys to dinner a bit of an adventure. Breakfast was free, ample and varied by day.

This hotel is in an okay shape, pretty much what you would expect to find at a 3-star hotel. The staff was nice. Better than expected breakfast. But, oh goodness, what happened to the blankets?!! What they call a "blanket" is in fact a very thin and breathable see-through throw. Might have been an okay option for some tropical location but, hello, Minocqua is not in tropics! We were staying at the hotel for 2 nights in January for a skiing trip. The first night, I was so cold I could not sleep. For the second night, even though I requested a 2-d blanket, I was still cold. Bottom lineis, if you plan to stay at this hotel during winter, do yourself a favor and Bring Your Own Blanket!

Clean room, wonderful staff, nice to have extras in the room. Only drawback was no comforter on bed. They brought me two blankets. Made a big difference. Breakfast was great. Will go back.

Rooms and showers were kind of dated but worked fine. Vanity in main room area was awkward and made it challenging for several people to get ready at once. Room was very clean. Fridge didn't work upon arrival but rectified by a replacement. Food was OK but orange juice dispenser ran out of juice. Location was great along with pool and hot tub facilities. Bartender was phenomenal and in great spirits. Parking was great. Price for room was a little high considering the above mentioned but location and convenience made it worth it. We will likely return in the near future.
Loved the outdoor patio despite it being chilly but would be awesome in warmer weather. Great view of the lake from our room

We checked in, went to our room and it was 62 degrees in the room and the air conditioning was on in Wisconsin in late October. We had to leave to give the room time to warm up. Turn the heat up when you know guests will be arriving.
