Center Hotel Plaza Situated Right in the Center of Reykjavík. Very convenient to All. Bus Stop 1 next to it within several hundred yards. Very convenient for Drop off and pick up point for excursions. Rooms are Scandinavian clean design. Quite spacious. Internet speed adequate. Breakfast included and Ok from US standards / definitely NOT on par with continental European 4 stars hotels with breakfast of course. But in that ridiculously OVER PRICED for everything town definitely Good and adequate. Rooms have NO AC and when heated by sun get rather hot inside. Fan provided ;) though. IF room overlooking the square which is fun to watch - be prepared to hear some drunks on square all night nearly / as looks like no one sleeps at that town. Drunks are noisy, BUT Site and City looks extremely safe. Never felt unsafe or threatened walking even at middle of night. Staff is excellent / very attentive and eager to please. All in All - Recc this hotel based on location and amenities. Nice stay.

Location is great for a stopover. No need to worry about transportation. Walking distance to museums, Harpa, restaurants, and shopping. Generous luggage storage and a good breakfast included in the price make this a great stopover.

Awesome hotel staff and service Great location close to everything!!!!

The location was great, right in the center of town but our room was quiet. The breakfasts were more than adequate. We never even considered spending money looking for food in the morning. And the City Hall bus stop was only a few short blocks away so it was easy to meet the tour buses.

The hotel is close to everything, restaurants, supermarket, shopping area and bus stop #1 where all the tour pick up/drop off and flybus stops.

This hotel was perfect for us! It is in a great area of Reykjavik, and just a short stroll to Bus stop #1, where a lot of tours are picked up/dropped off. The room was lovely and the staff very friendly and gracious. We especially appreciated the lavish breakfast buffet, with hot food such as eggs, bacon and sausages, a variety of cold meats and cheeses, delicious breads, etc (and shots of cod liver oil, if you're so inclined!) It was great to start out the day with an included breakfast, as prices in Reykjavik are high. The hotel is set on a busy plaza, so you might hear some noise; if that bothers you, I'd ask for a room at the back of the hotel.

It was great breakfast and the hotel was right in the heart of town, you have to pay for parking though. I don’t know if it’s different over in Iceland than in america , if they don’t wash the sheets every day or towels but looked like we had the same set for 4 days. Staff was friendly , but bring your own soaps and shampoo they only had a 3 in 1 wash. We got the deluxe room and was smaller than what we were used too, but overall a great expiwrence as we were out of the hotel more than we were in it.

Awesome service. Closed to restaurants, gift shops and other touristic attractions.

The shower was uncomfortable. The glass door would not stay in place. There was no boundary or partition to keep water from splashing on walls or bleeding into other areas of the bathroom. The wooden wall near floor was already water damaged so not sure why this situation has not been redesigned. Other than the shower everything else was EXCELLENT!

Nice hotel in the center of town, short walk to local shops and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Everything you want in an Iceland hotel. We liked the restaurant in the Sister hotel: Sky. The hotel was eager to please at every step. Top rating in everything.

No parking, no coffee maker, no drawers to put away clothes , and small shower

Great location in the city of Reykjavik. Close enough where we simply walked everywhere!

Very nice hotel in the center of the city. The breakfast buffet was good and plentiful.WIFI was good and so was the coffee bar on the 8th floor. The concierge "Anthony " was very helpful in arranging our tours. Only one thing that should be changed. The shower floor is very slippery and needs some safety walk strips. We liked the happy hour in the reception area.
