Location
Set in the charming village of Révfülöp, this residence enjoys a prime location on the northern shores of Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe. The area is a paradise for holidaymakers, offering everything from water sports and sun-soaked beaches to scenic vineyards, hiking trails, and the famous Lake Balaton cycle route, which circles the entire lake.
Guests can reach the beach, harbour, fishing pier, shops, and the scenic Fülöp Mountain Lookout all within a 15-minute walk. The region’s mild climate and around 2,000 hours of sunshine annually — on par with the French Riviera — make it a great destination throughout the warmer months.
For those who enjoy cooking at home, the local market at Termelői Piac, just 6 minutes away, is held on Wednesday and Saturday mornings and offers fresh, seasonal produce. Additional grocery stores and a supermarket are also available in the village.
Day trips are easy and rewarding: the Tihany Peninsula, with its historic Benedictine Abbey, panoramic lake views, and fragrant lavender fields, is just 30 minutes away. In the opposite direction, the wine-growing village of Badacsonytomaj is a short 15-minute drive. In summer, enjoy open-air movies at the local Révfülöp outdoor cinema, right on your doorstep.
For arrivals, Révfülöp railway station is a quick 5-minute walk from the property, while Budapest International Airport is approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes away by car.
