Amazing, kind, beautiful, helpful and proffesional staff. They really made the difference between a good vacation and an amazing one. Perfect location!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the quieter and better locations in Crete. Our deluxe suite had an amazing mountain and sea view. Food was very good and lots to choose. THIS IS THE PERFECT HOME-AWAY-FROM-HOME.

I'll keep this one short. Paid to stay here for a week and paid again to move elsewhere. Not 3 star, never mind 5. Very small rooms not that clean. We where stuck right at the end of the complex with 5 CHILDREN. No view. Really shabby place. Worst food we have EVER had in a hotel. The RAT under our table at dinner was the last straw. Yes it is true before the manager say's it was not!! My partner will be writing her own review and will put more info down i'm sure. Sorry R.G but this neally ruined or 3 weeks abroad with our children. Have a good look around before you book this hotel. All the staff where awsome.

Great location, excellent service. We really enjoyed our visit to Crete. Delicious food choices with fresh ingredients. Hotel is in a convenient location for sightseeing. Personnel on top. We' ll return next year.

First thing to say is that all the staff were friendly and helpful - without exception! We had family accommodation which was clean on arrival, and cleaned daily, with fresh bath towels every time. There are three pools, the one with the beautiful sunsets, which we didn't use (for no particular reason!) which is by the restaurant, a small children's pool (not relevant for us), and another pool which we used all the time, and greatly enjoyed, and always managed to find space to settle, and near a bar for cool drinks. The food was better than we expected after reading previous reviews, but slightly samey. We also read in previous reviews about getting caught out regarding All Inclusive bookings - to the point that we checked our booking - but still got caught out!! Frustrating, as we had only searched online for ALL Inclusive holidays, but still, our mistake - Full Board does not mean All Inclusive! Full Board is accommodation and food only NOT drinks (except breakfast apparently!), so we ended up paying extra to become All Inclusive, as the alternative was to pay 4 or 5+ Euros for every single drink (soft or alcoholic). The charge is 15 Euros per person per day, although they offered half charge for each of our teenage children, which softened the blow. I got the impression this was a fairly regular misunderstanding. Once this was resolved, however, we genuinely had a lovely and relaxing holiday. The resort is quite a way from anywhere, so it depends if you are happy to travel by coach/taxi/bus to see things. We elected not to, as we were only there for a week and the Euro/GBP exchange made the excursions pricey in our view (Santorini would have been lovely, but 500 Euros for 4 of us seemed a bit steep). It also transpires that all the trips operated by the resort are geared for Dutch, German or French guests, not English (makes a change!). When we arrived, we were the only English guest there! That said, we travelled with On The Beach, and they have an agent to call for trips/excursions, which might be worth doing, we did not pursue it ourselves, and contented ourselves with a couple of trips to Rethymnon, which was a lovely place to go.

Nice hotel, extremely clean with comfortable beds. Spa on top. We tried hot stones massage and felt totally relaxed. There are 4 swimming pools, 2 bar areas and a market at your disposal. Many thanks to everybody. We will be back as soon as possible.

i could stay at this hotel the whole summer! the service was great. the people really nice. the room was comfortable with nice view and private pool! the location is great! close to Rethymnon. it has mini bus to the airport. dont forget to use the spa! i recommend this place!

I truly recommend this magic place to have an unforgettable experience. Rooms are absolutely quiet, elegant and comfortable. Toiletries in room are excellent, too. Restaurant area is incredible at sunset. Staff are friendly and helpful. Everyone is courteous. We'll defiantly be back. Thank you so much for the incredible experience.

From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and comfortable. A very nice hotel located in the middle od a valley surrounded by olive trees. Our room was average size but so clean and nice with an awesome view. Price was a very good value.

Let me say that this was an absolutely wonderful resort. It was extremely clean, modern, and well maintained. The staff does an outstanding job of pleasing guests. In particular, the woman (Agririo I think) who runs the spa and the banquet manager Popi, are wonderful people who go out of their way to help and please guests. So why not 5 stars? 1. It is very remote and you will need a car to get around if you want to leave the resort. Driving around Crete can be difficult and stressful so you have to keep that in mind. 2. Be cautious of the all inclusive plan. It can be very expensive and the basic plan includes only meals and NO drinks....including water, soda, ice tea, and alcohol. Drinks are available with all meals to everyone, including beer, wine, and some Ouzo at the "Cretan" corner. But outside of that, it will cost an extra $15 per day on top of the meal plan so beware. I am not a big all inclusive person, but the food was very fresh and the best of Greece! After a couple days, it can get repetitive but still good. There were very few Americans, but it's something to look into! If you are an Interval or Marriott timeshare owner, you can use it. A week might be too long, but 4 days is good. Recommend exploring and staying in Chania for 1-2 nights.

We had a bonus week through our timeshare exchange service, Interval International. We did not realize until after the booking this place is an all inclusive with a mandatory food plan. This made it more expensive than we would have agreed to, as we don't drink much and prefer to eat at small local places which tend to be less expensive. Having said that, the resort was clean, meticulously maintained, and comfortable: the pools were beautiful and refreshing. Shuttle from the airport was €100! A cab would cost €80. We opted to take the bus, which was less than €20 for both of us, was comfortable and clean and only made a few stops. The shuttle from the resort to be beach was to small for the number of guests. So, in sweltering heat we had to wait for the bus to make several trips (about 10 minutes wait) and then pile in on top of each other. They should have more than one shuttle, especially in the high season! The meals were good; not fantastic. The wine was tasty, and the local foods were nice. We didn't like being tied to the resort for meals. They will box a lunch for you if you inform them the day before you will be away from the resort during lunch time. The spa is pretty with a pool out of the sun which nobody seemed to use; privacy! We scheduled massages. Both were terrible. Mine felt rushed and disorganized. My husband described his as someone trying to rub lotion on a burn victim; no pressure at all and the guy did not appear to know what he was doing. Wasted money. All in all we appreciated this place and it was a good home base for our island exploration. If you like to relax by the pool and drink, it's a great spot. If you want to explore Crete, make sure you rent a vehicle and you can use this as a home base.
