Property looks nice from the outside but cleanliness is horrible. The towels are old and worn out. Even though they said they were washed, we found different disgusting marks on many of them. Parking is on the street for free. Swimming pool had lots of mold.

We enjoyed this hotel immensely and highly recommend it! This hotel has a wonderful breakfast with a wide selection of food options to suit everyone's tastes and with a beautiful view of the beachfront. Free parking was across the hotel entrance with a huge area to park. We did daily day trips to explore Crete, and there were always parking spots available when we returned at the end of the day. We chose this hotel due to the beautiful views from the balconies, the cleanliness, and the parking. We easily would walk for a leisurely walk into Old Town in 15 minutes. Even taking a taxi was very cheap which we did on way back one evening. The rooms were modern, clean and towels changed every day. The front desk staff were so polite and catered to all of our needs. The owner Mr, Stelios also greeted us and took us to our rooms and explained how the air conditioner worked, where all the amenities were. We enjoyed seeing him everyday! Their pool is amazing, and the pool deck with a beautiful beachfront view had an amazing bar for drinks and food. The bar person is very nice and works hard getting drinks and food ready for your order. Loved the pool area with the sun loungers and perfect views! This hotel will not disappoint at all. We had our two sons and their girlfriends with us, so we had 3 rooms in total and everybody enjoyed Archipelogos hotel. We surely would stay here when we go back to Rethymnon. We had an awesome stay! Thank you from your fellow Canadians!

The Hotel was very nice and conveniently located a little bit outside the centre, but still walking distance. There is a decent size pool and a small beach just opposite. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend the hotel.

My second time staying here and it likely won't be my last! A truly great little hotel with wonderful staff and owner who can't do enough for you. Rooms are clean spacious and bright with beautiful views, pool is clean and with plenty of loungers. Location is fantastic, 10-15 mins into Rethymno old town. Parking right outside the hotel, and Rethymno is an ideal base for exploring much of the island. All in all, stay at the Archipelagos, you won't regret it!

Hotel Archipelagos

Lovely clean hotel. Rooms were spacious, and we had a great view of the sea. Room 906. Not 5 star standards, but great value for money. Breakfast was typically Greek and something there for everyone.

Excellent location with views outside the old town

A new favorite for us in the Rethymno area. It is a little bit of a walk to the old town but the convenience of parking and walking was worth it for us. The hotel is clean, everyone was friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the views were amazing! We will be back again next year for a longer stay!

The Archipelagos Hotel was an absolutely fantastic place to stay. The Hotel, pool area and rooms were stunning and high quality, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. It was a five star experience with a personal and local touch. Great value for money and wonderful hospitality. The location is also very convenient - there is a little sandy beach and a bus stop just outside the hotel, and the Fortress, Old Town and bus station are all walking distance. The Hotel is well equipped with anything you may need - a small fridge, a pool, beach accessories like umbrellas and toys you can use, and books as well. The food at breakfast and at the pool bar/kitchen was delicious too. Highly recommend this place for families and Honeymooners alike.

Perfect!

From start to finish the hotel staff were amazing very friendly and extremely helpful from car hire to bus trips or anything we needed to know about the area. It is quite a large hotel but has the atmosphere of a family friendly one. Our studio was perfect for the two of us with a modern feel and was cleaned every day at our convenience. The location is perfect overlooking the sea with a small quiet beach and and within walking distance of the beautiful old town with its narrow streets restaurants and shops. The atmosphere has a great vibe day or night. Getting there from the airport of Chania was 80 Euro by taxi but don’t be afraid to use the buses. We returned to the airport on the local air conditioned bus booked at the nearby bus station for 8 Euros each and it was quicker than the taxi. Great hotel lovely area and lovely people. Would defiantly recommend the hotel and location.

Lovely stay...

A very convenient position for the Old Town. Recently updated to a high standard, the owner Stelios and staff could not be more accommodating. Friendly, informative, always helpful. Lovely views from the balcony. Lovely clean safe pool,a nice bar offering nice simple lunches and snacks as well as a good range of refreshments. Many people only use it as a stopover, we were pleased to stay for two weeks and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. I would add one or two observations, not as a criticism, but information for travellers. There are no cooking facilities in the room, tea and coffee making facilities only, and a toaster if you ask for it. Our room had no safety box. There was no drawer space for clothes and limited shelving. The only table is on the balcony. This may be a problem for some people. It wasn't for us. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sorry to leave.
