I decided to stay here while in Danville, Va, after a not so great experience there last month, and was very happy with that decision. It’s about 18 miles from Danville, which was fine since I went in during the morning, and returned to Eden in the evening. It was about half the cost of staying in Danville and much, much nicer than anything comparable there. The hotel, its surroundings, and my room were very clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I could only fault it in two areas, and that’s being picky: there are no coin operated laundry facilities (although there is a laundromat within close walking distance), and the breakfast could be improved (with better quality hot food). I still give this little hotel an excellent rating though, and I’ll continue to stay here whenever I’m in the area.

Respect to someone making the most of an old motel

Someone is obviously trying to make the most of this hotel, and I respect them for it. Everything appeared clean, and the staff was courteous. Breakfast was what you would expect from a budget hotel. Our room, especially the bathroom, reeked of cat pee, so I suspect it had been a pet-friendly room in the past. That is hard to ignore and put a damper on the whole experience. The toilet seat was very loose, but that happens, I get it. On checkout, I told the person at the front desk about the seat, and they seemed eager to make sure it got fixed. The vibe of the place was reminiscent of an old motel, something you'd expect from a Motel 6 or such.

We arrived late, after 10pm, desperate for a room because our original booking was disgusting and we had to leave. We were greeted instantly, a room was available immediately, it was cool, clean and exactly what we needed. We felt safe and comfortable and we are so very thankful!

Disrespected with a flooded bathroom

I advise Anthony from front desk the toilet overflow i couldn't take shower he advise he wasn't plunging nobody's toilet or coming around to assist ..very rude he wanted to argue back a forth with me! You are not getting your money back do we have a problem or tension I cried all night couldn't use the bathroom was there on business an to assist a family member with terminal cancer the next morning JJ the manager is there some tension she asked me ? I thought am I at a boxing match? No etiquette at all very unprofessional! I had to post this so hurtful. Please don't stay here!!She said it's private owned like they don't care how they treat you an they won't print you a receipt. It's 3rd party JJ said it's a shame customer service needs to visit their establishment asap!! Please help!
