TRAINS: Hotel Montana sits just south of the Yellowstone River and adjacent to the historic railroad that has been part of Reed Point for generations. Freight trains pass through town both day and night, and their whistles and rumble are an authentic part of the experience.

Many guests enjoy the nostalgic sound and consider it part of the hotel's historic charm. If you're a light sleeper or particularly sensitive to noise, however, you may find the trains noticeable. To help ensure a comfortable stay, we provide complimentary earplugs in every room.
