Staff was incredibly helpful and kind

Very clean and great staff and amenities.

Staff had very poor communication skills. Tried to check in a little after 2:00pm and was told room had not been cleaned. zfront desk person then just looked at me and said nothing. Sorry, my mind reading skills were just a bit off so I really needed a bit more than a blank stare.Came back at 5:00pm, new front desk person again no explanation that this hotel requires you pay for room at check in and oh yeah, they do not accept cash for payment. What? Cash isn't good here? And this is the first time I have ever been asked to pay for a room at check in. There is no elevator so I got to trudge up the stairs and finally enter a room that was musty and smelled like an old water leak. Best Western is off my list as a place to stay while traveling. Not worth the money or the hassle.

Nice clean hotel. Nothing unexpected, and that's a good thing.

We had trouble with our key working over and over again.

The hotel is starting to get a bit "long in the tooth"--frayed and the furnishings dark and dated. The tv is the lobby is on all day, which is intrusive. Desk staff not very friendly.

Golf outing and the location was good for us and the rooms were very nice - breakfast was very good too

Nice convienient. Perkins next door for good food at reasonable prices. Red Wing is small so everything is easily gotten to. However, was not told of free breakfast until I discovered it leaving on last day. I could hear tv playing while waiting/looking for clerk to check out. Took advantage of it, lots to eat on 10 hour drive. Overall nice. Room was weird made up like lake wobegone, which I cant stand. However made do.

everything clean and comfortable. Breakfast was predictable, but adequate

The hotel in its self is very nice, clean and we liked the fact we were on the ground floor with an outside door out to parking lot from our room. Unfortunately there happened to be a young kids hockey tournament going on in the area and many stayed at this hotel. They were allowed to play floor hockey in the hall way and the kids were very loud. They ran up and down the hallways up stairs so that was very noisy too. This hotel need to also get a shuttle bus as its about 10 miles away from a very large and popular casino. The casino was booked so we stayed at this hotel. We called the taxi Co. recommended by the clerk and the taxi failed to show up in time which made us have to drive ourselves. We were going to a concert and planned on cocktailing, needless to say we were disappointed with all the issues but the hotel was nice.

Our room was impossible. A "loft suite" located on the 2nd floor (no elevator) that offered two-story accommodations with bath on the lower floor, along with table and chairs and 1940s overstuffed furniture and on the second floor a bedroom with TV, but no bath. The lighting was poor, the cleanliness was unsatisfactory...stains on the bed linens (although they looked as if they had been washed). For a small city the price paid was outrageous. The motel is not located on the riverfront, although many in the city are. Choose another.

Everything was wonderful! The only drawback for this hotel is there is no elevator to the 2nd floor, but they help you carry your things up.

Disappointed that we did not get the King size bed that we were suppose to get when I mentioned to Best Western they said that was not communicated through travel website to them so our sleep was not good. On the up side Motel was very clean and very quiet. Nice sitting out by the outdoor pool. Good area and short distance to shopping, etc.

The hotel was exactly what a Best Western should be. It was clean, has a nice complimentary breakfast each day, and had a fun indoor/outdoor pool set up. (Great for a family with kids) My husband and I stayed in the Mississippi River Boat Suite and the bed was so uncomfortable. The mattress was really hard and the pillows were really thin. We might try a different hotel next time.

Staff was so friendly. Room was super clean..furniture comfortable. Realize its only two floors but with luggage it would be nice to have an elevator..nice touch with the little balcony. A folding chair to sit on there would be great. Overall..we will be back.

Generally a good place to stay in a great river town. Nice to have complementary breakfast but it was just average. The coffee maker was on the fritz, but reported it and assume it will be taken care of. The size of the room was good for three adults with a sitting area. We've stayed at the Best Western before and will stay there again when we're in the area.
