Our stay was for pleasure to see family. We've stayed multiple times at Holiday Inn Neptune, New Jersey. Our only concern is that they need to update the beds. Ours was a little springy.

I have to say this hotel was beautiful. They really did a good job renovating. The staff was very nice and friendly, and the hotel was very comfortable and clean. We stayed here because it’s close to the Asbury Park area which we had a concert in and I will stay here again if necessary it was very lovely.

Pros: We stayed here 2 nights for a festival. While we were only there to sleep and shower, the property fit our basic needs despite the minimal time we were actually there. The 2 women who worked at the front desk both on Saturday morning (9/13) when we checked in and then Sunday-Monday were personable, funny and smiling. Any housekeeping staff we walked by also had smiles on their faces. The lobby was clean and the room was beautiful and clean. Cons: I wish I had known that we had to request towels. I thought putting the tag on the door would have sufficed. Our bad. And we didn't have warm water for the shower. Although they were unable to rectify the temp during our stay due to no maintenance on site (and I UNDERSTAND working in property management) or offer us a room change (I'm assuming it was sold out), Curve, who is the hotel supervisor was able to remedy my dissatisfaction into keeping this a 4/5 Star. If we go to this festival again next year, I would still consider staying here based on location, the friendly staff and cleanliness.

They only had 1 bar of soap for 4 guests. They only had 2 towels and we were 4. The body wash gel in the shower was empty. Ms lorretta at front desk was so professional and courteous We tried calling the hotel and no 1 eould answer. I also left a voice message but never received a call back
