We spent our last night in the northeast in a room with a view. Although the weather was very unstable, we could appreciate the ocean as we woke up. The view is indeed stunning. The room is clean and we had absolute no problem with anything. The staff (all the people, from the valet parking team to the ladies who prepare breakfast) is EXTREMELY KIND and HELPFUL. They made our stay even more pleasant
Good hotel with good service. There is no restaurant in the hotel, not even room service. They have to ask to another hotel, neighboor. The bathroons are OK, with nice shower. Rooms with enough space and people very eficient in the reception. I missed yogurt and juices without sugar, taked with the responsible and next day they provided.
Positives: Good size swimming pool with sunlight, Good fridge, air conditioning working Ok, Good bathroom area, tv working with good channels, good breakfast variety, fruits, juices, a la carte eggs or tapioca, excellent elevator service, excellent wifi service, excellent shower service. Negatives: shower area near swimming pool quite dark, old and dingy, they said there would be a kettle, but on arrival there was no kettle and one mug for me and my boyfriend so I had to ring up a few times to ask for spoons and a kettle and a mug. The bedsheets didn't smell completely fresh, could be the inner duvet or pillows need cleaning and the materials are thin and cheap to cover. Mattress and pillows were cheap and not the most comfortable. The bedroom desk was tilted which made it hard to relax when putting hot drinks on it. On the first day aswell the coffee from the breakfast canister was almost cold, which kind of put a stall in my happy holiday vibe. But when I told the waitress they changed it in the next 10 minutes. On our last day after breakfast we came back to our room to get ready for checkout and the door was not unlocking with our key. we had to return to reception and waited a further 15 minutes to get into our room. Not a nice holiday vibe when you're paying 215 reals a night. The filter on the kettle was also broken. Obviously the bedroom toilet is a bit dingy and dark but works perfectly well. NO CIRCULATION though which makes the area feel a bit stuffy. Checkout was straightforward and fast. Excellent bakery right next door to the hotel to buy water and snacks!
- Very unprepared staff: arrived with my wife and daughter (sleeping on my wife's arms) with 2 big suitcases and other small children's bags and NO ONE showed up to help. Had to do it all on my own. Had to leave the suitcases at the reception and returned to pick them up later - very small and dark hallways... seems like old scary movies. Dirty floor, walls and doors. Accommodation doors very noisy. - very low profile accommodation. Reasonable accommodation size, but poorly maintained. Strong mold smell both on leaving room and bedroom! Pillows smelling like sweat and bed sheets very untidy. Definitely NOT Mercure standards. Do not recommend !!!!!!
It's a good option to be near to great restaurants with many different prices and also close to Boa Viagem Beach. For who wants to go to the south beaches is easier to drive to there. The facilities room are short and the swimming pool is not good.
The location is very good as it is just one block far from Boa Viagem beach. The reception seems too empty, in terms of furniture... The room very good, silent, clean. The shower needs repairs as it starts showering long after we closed and the room door needs better gaskets to avoid corridor light. Stairs to the pool are also in need of repairs.
The hotel is perfectly located in Boa Viagem: walking distance to business areas, great restaurants, and only a few meters off the beach. The rooms are spacious with a good working desk, wardrobe, fine bed facing a large window, and good bathroom. The high floors rooms have a wonderful beach view.
Old shape building, rooms ok, even if they leave just one towel in the room. Internet.. Forget about doesn't work, so now days isn't a business hotel. Claimed to reception they told that today is anormaly bad, but for me still for the second day.
The business suite is ok, king size bed, side table to work, snack bar. But let's go to the worst part of it. Terrible wifi connection ever, drops all the time. Room service is bad, very slow just an example to get a hamburger it took an hour to deliver in my room. I also request an ironing kit that tools 2hrs. So my stay wasn't pleasant as would like to be.
Pleasant, quite new hotel in Recife. Close to airport and convenient for my business meetings. Rooms were OK, a little "cold" in the design. Good breakfast buffet. Parking was a little complicated in the attached structure, that was separate from the hotel and could not be billed to room.
