Stayed here with my wife and daughter en route to the Atlantic coast, checked in quite late and luckily there was staff there which was good, the room however was not so good, it was, tired, shabby and cramped, the shower/bathroom was no bigger than a broom cupboard, and the second bed required climbing skills to get into it, and was very uncomfortable, overall not a great experience
If you re looking for an overnight stop then book this one. Clean hotel, good beds, ample safe free parking and a restaurant next door open 7/7. Many hotels at this price point are basically self service where you dont see staff and pay at a vending machine - this place has a staffed reception and helpful staff. Copious continental breakfast buffet is a bargain.
We stay here because of the restaurant! Hotel is clean, quiet and friendly. Good value for money! Breakfast is basic French. You are out of town, but near the motorway for your journey south. We like the restaurant next door so that helps!
We stopped over for one night each way on our way to our holiday,it was ok for just a stop over, the hotel was a long way out of town so you had to use the Restaurant next door which wasn't all that good and if you wanted a drink there were no bars in walking distance apart for the intermach
Couldn't get the usual hotel we book, so used Misterbed. A little too far too walk to town, but very pleasant, clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful, but the breakfast was quite basic, not complaining, but have had more choice. For 2 or more nights you may find this inadequate but for short stay, you can't complain. Value for money. Car Park and a good restaurant near by.
My wife & I spent the week-end In this confortable hôtel. Breakfast was fine. It's close to Berck where it is possible to have great walks and have seafood Lunch or dinner In front of the beach In Nice restaurants.
Mister Bed hotel Located at Rang du Fliers (Northern France) is a cheap but very cheerful stop off place. It's located at the edge of a commercial centre and almost every room overlooks a well-kept garden area. The rooms are basic, all with 3 beds, ideal for a small family. There is a cabinet shower included in the en-suite facility with toilet and wash basin. Do watch the force of water and the hot water, as it was unusually hot when I visited. Machines deliver drinks both hot and cold 24/7 and there is also a snack facility again by coin op. Breakfasts are available, if ordered the previous evening with fresh bread, croissants and preserves. Outside there are facilities provided by Mister Bed, to play games, table tennis and others sports. There is an ample sized car park, with spaces for disabled. Beds are comfortable. Next door is a small modern restaurant. See photo. Mister bed is conveniently located close to the towns of Montreuil and Berck, the latter of which has its own amusement park in the holiday season, as well as being some 20 minutes from the edge of the Somme for anyone wanting to explore history. At 36€ per night per room, it's ideal for a one night stop off. There are disabled parking facilities as well as a lift, and if you book early you may find a ground floor room. I found the whole place to be clean and well-kept with the bonus of a bi-lingual good receptionist for those who don't speak much French. Along the road from Mr Bed is an artisan baker - not to be missed if you like superb croissants, baguettes and the most wonderful selection of cakes and pattiseries all available from about 6 am each morning John Burrows.
We have been regular visitors to Mister Bed on the edge of Berck sur Mer for quite a few years as it is relatively cheap and convenient for the autoroute on the way to and from Calais. There is also a Poivre Rouge restaurant next door. The hotel beds are comfortable enough and it is reasonably clean but we have noticed it is starting to look a little tired, with a cracked push flush in the loo, decals missing from some taps and marks in the washbasin where inconsiderate guests have seen fit to extinguish cigarettes. €46 euros for a Saturday night stay isn't bad for those on a budget but if the owners allow the surroundings to deteriorate further we may seriously have to consider looking elsewhere, which would be a pity.
Spent a very pleasant night here on the way back to Calais. A formula hotel with little extras and a cheap breakfast. Clean and comfortable with a sizeable enclosed picnic area to the rear and childrens play area. A restaurant next door and a large supermarket 200 meters away. Berke plage is 1km down the road with its fine beach and bustling promenade.A good stop after a long journey and a last meal before joining your ferry.
We stopped for a night before making our way back to Calais. On Arrival the woman was welcoming but knew no English. The room was basic with a very tiny bathroom but was good enough for the length of time in which we intended to stay. In terms of location it's a good distance away from the A16 motorway and the beach.
