The community sits on the site of the former Pearl Cotton Mill and retains striking elements of its industrial past including the original smokestack and the Duke Tower, now a distinctive focal point within the enclosed courtyard.
Bathed in natural light throughout the day, the interior is appointed with original African art and hand-carved wood accents, adding warmth to its clean, minimalist design. Just two blocks from Duke University, this stylish and serene retreat is perfect for business travelers and leisure guests alike.
The condo features a queen bed with room-darkening curtains, plush towels and robes, and lemon verbena–scented Pharmacopia Natural & Organic bodycare products. The full kitchen includes sleek European-style appliances: a cooktop, microwave/oven combo, dishwasher, an efficiency-sized refrigerator (no freezer) and a portable ice maker. Nespresso and drip coffee maker also provided.
