Awesome place near downtown/campus

I came in town for the weekend for a basketball game. Location was great and easy to get to both downtown and campus.The house was very well furnished and the kitchen well appointed. The old school arcade game was so much fun, we ended up playing that much more than expected! All in all a fantastic rental.

Wonderful home for a family!

Our son is moving to attend Duke grad school and we rented the home while we moved him in. Our son from PA joined us. We loved the game room! Many hours were spent laughing and playing games. It was also the perfect place for our dogs, although there are not rugs by the doors and it rained a lot, so we used towels after they went out each time. We loved the yard and the porch, but couldn't enjoy it in the weather we had. If weather was good, it would have been the perfect place to spend time as a family. The rooms were lovely and bathrooms were beautiful. It was nicer than any hotel we stayed at on the trip from TX to NC! We didn't try, but we are not sure how you could walk to downtown. It was only about a 10 min drive to Duke (near the hospital.). I hadn't received check-in details, so emailed when we got there and had a reply within 30 min. Would defintely recommend for families and anyone with dogs... and big kids who love to game.

Clean, spacious, great location!

We stayed at this neat and stylish house in order to get to know the area and find my daughter a place to live while she attends Duke. The location was excellent for getting around to all of the places we needed to go. The restaurants were great too. At times the train horns would wake me up but I am a light sleeper. My son never even heard them. We had fun playing games in the game room as well. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to visit Durham.

Christmas in Durham

House was spacious with all the necessities for the many family meals we made. Great game room for the many hours of board games played. Just far enough away from downtown to get in a walk. Great back yard for the dog to run and enjoy the sun.
