Il Cipresso is tucked into a hillside hamlet in the green heart of the Chianti on the halfway mark between idyllic Castellina in Chianti and scenic Radda in Chianti. The terraced flower beds contain gardens with a host of vegetables for the use of guests and a pool with stunning views. These are perfect for al fresco meals and evening sun downs as the skies dramatically turn from azure blue to burnt orange.

Should you venture onto the web of walking trails that cross the heavenly landscape or if you day trip to Florence or Siena this ground floor apartment awaits. It is simple with modern conveniences and cosy comforts. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom. Wooden beams and terracotta form the ceilings, while traditional terracotta tiles are laid for the floors with period wooden furniture added. This is a very special hide away in a hidden corner of the Chianti Classico. The hamlet dates back to the Etruscan period meaning thousands of years of inhabitants have enjoyed this rural idyll. The friendly owner lives onsite in the upstairs apartment and will be happy to help if you need anything.
