Il Cipresso, Radda in Chianti, Siena and Chianti

Il Cipresso is a lovingly furnished holiday home, ideal for a couple or a small family. It is located on the ground floor of a natural stone house in a small medieval hamlet on a hill in the heart of the Chianti Classico, between Radda and Castellina. The site was once an Etruscan settlement and still retains a unique historical atmosphere. From the private terrace and well-tended garden, guests can enjoy wide views of the typical Tuscan hills.



Thanks to the excellent location, many of the region’s best-known towns and villages are within easy reach. Radda and Castellina in Chianti are just six kilometres away and offer excellent restaurants, small shops and supermarkets. A visit to the Gelateria di Castellina, known for its homemade ice cream, is especially recommended. For dining close to home, the restaurant Le Carrozze is only a short walk from the property. Siena, Florence, Arezzo and San Gimignano are also perfect for day trips.

The garden is planted with flowers and a small vegetable patch. Guests are welcome to help themselves to the fresh produce and use it for meals enjoyed on their own terrace. The pool is reserved exclusively for guests and offers peaceful relaxation on warm summer days.



The interiors reflect traditional Tuscan style. Wooden beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and cosy furnishings create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel at home from the moment they arrive.

La maison du XII eme siècle dans laquelle se trouve l’appartement en rez de chaussée bénéficie de plusieurs terrasses en belvédère avec une superbe vue. La maison aux murs très épais est restée fraîche même les jours de très forte chaleur extérieure. La climatisation n’est absolument pas nécessaire. La piscine à usage exclusivement privé est très grande et très pratique. Les propriétaires Piera et Costante qui habitent à l’étage sont vraiment très aimables et très discrets. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour chez eux.

Sehr nette Vermieter und sehr schöne Landschaft

Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Aufenthalt in einer wunderschönen Gegend. Die Vermieter sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben jeden Tag Salat aus dem Garten bekommen. Der Wein vom eigenen Anbau schmeckt grandios gut. Tipp: unbedingt das etruskische Dorf wenige Gehminuten entfernt anschauen. Ich kommen auf jeden Fall wieder . Liebe Grüße D+K+L
