Family four staying two nights in this well-located, stylish boutique hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel. We had a Gondola room and everything required for a comfortable stay. The little details - warm welcome, town map (and burger recommendations), sweet fudge treats, etc, helped make this a special stay. Each evening canapés and drinks are offered to guests - a lovely way to meet fellow travelers and share tales. We had breakfast on-site on our last morning - the service was warm and friendly, the food excellent. The hotel is ~7 mins walk to some of the popular eateries in the town Centre, plus the Four Square supermarket, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of heavy foot-traffic. In the hope that we return to Queenstown soon, I would stay at QPB Hotel again.
We stayed two nights at the hotel in a Gondola room. Beautifully furnished, great amenities and gorgeous view. The room was a fantastic size and had everything we could ask for. The complimentary evening canapés and wines were lovely - the staff hosting well and lovely to chat to. A nice chance to chat to some of the other guests too. Location of the hotel is superb - walking distance to the main shopping and restaurant areas and most importantly, the lake. Recommend highly and looking forward to our next stay.
Stayed at the Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel for three days during a return visit to New Zealand in February, 2018. We had two first floor rooms, both were very modern, nicely appointed, with walk out patios. The hotel, adjacent to a park, is an easy walk to downtown, lots of good restaurants, a very nice waterfront, lots to see and do! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts were tasty, fresh fruit and juices, cereals, bakery goods, scrambled eggs, all the delicious essentials. There is a happy hour each evening with a selection of canapés and great New Zealand wines. I mentioned to a staff member, Karen, that I was interested in getting another Merino wool jacket, as I had bought one on my first New Zealand trip, and I was very happy with it. She got me a list of places on my upcoming itinerary, where those jackets would be available. Three days later, I bought a jacket from one of the stores she suggested. This illustrates how the hotel staff cares for, and helps the guests. I highly recommend the Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel. You will not be disappointed.
Lots to love here. Location is ideal. Modern, clean, and large rooms. All the employees helpful and friendly. Ate breakfast in the restaurant. It was delicious and a good value and adorable spot. Our kids camped in the nearby Queenstown Lakeview Holiday Park and this was a great location for meeting up with them as well.
From the initial greeting by Paula to make you feel like family this hotel lived up to its 5 star rating. The twin room on the road side with its own court yard had everything needed for our 4 night stay. ( only 1 night with resellers outside caused sleeplessness for a brief time) Greeted with a birthday card and gift to add to Easter eggs and fudge, added a delightful touch to our welcome. It is close to everything in town and the nightly drinks with canapés topped off our active days setting the mood for evening festivities ! Beds were very comfortable and the staff engaging and no request was too much trouble Fran also went out of his way to make us feel welcome Thankyou to all the team for making this trip special
We took a leap of faith in choosing this hotel after reading the great Trip Advisor reviews and it exceeded even those glowing reviews. It really is that great. The front desk team (who also basically serve in every role imaginable in the small property) were amazing and made us feel like family. We had a lost piece of luggage and they were quick to check on the status and ensure it arrived safely. The nightly cocktail hour with local food and wine was a nice treat (and really really good) and it was lots of fun to meet with and compare notes with other guests. The room was of good size and the bathroom was great (not many places to store things) and the skylight over the shower was really cool especially at night when looking at the stars. The hotel has a great location to walk into "downtown" Queenstown - at most 5 minutes away and they were quick to offer good recommendations for activities and food. When our Milford Sound trip was cancelled, they got us on a wine tour at the last minute that was tons of fun - so they definitely know their area. In sum, we loved our stay here and would readily return.
The hotel's staff was extremely friendly and we felt very welcome. The complimentary "happy hour" at the lobby was an awesome little touch to remember and a great way to start the night before heading out for dinner. Furthermore, the staff helped us pick a good restaurant for the night. The hotel is located close to all restaurants and bars and our room was beatiful.
The hotel is really nice. It's comfortable, well furnished and a little quirky. The rooms are thoughtfully laid out and we had a Gondola room, which had nice views. The staff were excellent. Unfortunately, I cannot give it 5 stars as it is on a moderately busy road and our room was only about 10m from passing cars and a few loud, late-night revellers, presumably staggering home. This meant that we didn't sleep well on either night of our stay.
We stayed here for two nights and it totally lived up to all the great reviews we’d read. Staff are wonderful and kind, rooms are superb, a nice 5 minute walk into the town, breakfast is sumptuous, really helpful advice on things to do. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone!
The Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel was lovely. It is very close to town, the rooms are well appointed and have amenities you typically find in a nice boutique hotel (mini-bar, coffee machine, etc.), and the staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. I loved the little bag of complimentary fudge in the room, as well!
