Our last night in Queenstown and the apartment did not disappoint. The room was beautiful, the view was absolutely stunning. Well equipped kitchen with washing machine/dryer. Good size fridge and stove. Big bathroom(with a bath) and under floor heating. Bed was super comfy and had a great lounge area. The electric fire heater was a nice touch. Only a 10 -15 minute walk to town which was great. Didn’t have to worry about parking! The host, Letitia, was friendly and welcoming. would happily book this again.

We stayed in the one bedroom lake view Appartment and was fantastic, view amazing and appartment spacious with everything that you need. Room was a wheelchair accessable room and only flaw is the shower lip is not high enough as water flows over the lip onto the floor when having a showerr. If you are fit and dont mind a stroll up the hill it is amazing and worth it. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Mixed review of apart-hotel in Queenstown

Great view, spacious, comfortable couches, nice fireplace. However, several issues made it less than ideal. First, the safe and bathroom floor heating did not work. The kitchen floor was heated and was great in the chilly mornings. No Sky Sport, only basic channels, had to go in to town to see All Blacks match. Worst issue is there are not enough parking spaces. On our longest day outing we got back after 8 hrs of driving to Milford and had to spend 5 minutes driving around the steep hills looking for street parking in the dark--not fun. They are honest about the steep walk from down, but to clarify it is downhill to town, uphill back. An uber is about 13 dollars to take you back up if that is not appealing. Also, the stairs down from parking to the unit were steep and there are two really heavy doors to get through with room key, not suitable for older folks with large suitcases. Finally, work was being done on the unit next to us, but we were not informed prior to our check in NOR at check in which was not up to standards of a four or five star place.

We had an excellent stay at Highiew and itbhad a magnificent view. The property was in great condition and close to town and very convenient. The only minor point is parkung can be a little tricky as there are more cars than spots and the on street parking is limited.
