We had a 2 bedroom apartment, unit 17. lovely apartment with everything we needed for a week stay. staff were great, very accommodating. we had a lovely time with no issues. nice flat walk along lake into town approx 25-30mins walk!

We were staying in the 2 bedrooms, the big balcony and the view of the snow mount is the outstanding part of this room, also the nice dining area and very comfortable living area are fantastic for my family enjoying their meal and chatting in the room. Very nice place! Love to come back and remcommed to my friends!

Lovely room, great views, very friendly and helpful service. Great value for money. Walking distance to gardens and queenstown cbd. Beautiful location on the lakeside with great views of the mountain range.

Great view and great town but disappointed to find accomodation not an easy walk into town at all as indicated on website and the in-room info, very dated apartment with some obvious attempts at updating but only certain things , most of furniture very old and worn and a real mismatch of "styles". Great couches and comfy beds but old cooking utensils such as fry pans with wonky handles , outdated collection of "artwork" in odd places , in general walls very marked and scuffed. Old used and dirty scourer and dish brush left under sink with new ones. Had to throw them out myself. Cleanliness of 3 bedroom apartment was less than acceptable. In particular light switches, phone covered in grime, ledges grimey, corners of benches dirty where things had not been moved before "cleaning" surfaces, bathroom ceilings covered in dead bugs . On mentioning cleaning to owner/manager , was advised apartment would be fully cleaned next day but despite a couple of guys with a cloth turning up quite late the next day there was no full cleaning done at all. Towels replaced on day 3 of 4 day stay no idea this would happen, left on kitchen bench for some reason and even stranger used towels not removed from bathrooms so had to leave used wet tiles on floor as new towels we put on towel racks in bathrooms to use. Starter kit apparently included milk of which we never saw any. Website boasts ceiling fans in all 2 and 3 bed apts , queried this with owner/ manager who had no idea this was advertised. Pedestal fans were provided when requested however the explanation for no ceiling fans was that it doesnt normally get very hot in Queenstown! Half of lightglobes in bathrooms had to be replaced, again on request, obviously such things not checked between guests. Other light globes blew during stay including lights on stairs making going up and down stairs at night dangerous on steep stairs. No lightglobe in fridge this was mentioned but not rectified. By this stage could not be bothered bringing anything else up with management. Such a shame as really good view and such potential for a fabulous apartment complex just not realised here. Would definitely recommend management employs actual qualified cleaners who use cleaning products. After 2 weeks travelling staying in a variety of places and doing a lot of touristy stuff this was our chance to relax for 4 days and take it easy and we were disappointed the accomodation was our last memory of an otherwise great trip. Will not stay here again.

We loved our stay at Breakfree The Point. The service was fabulous and the apartment was incredible, spacious and clean. Upon arrival we were very excited to receive upgrade to a lake front apartment which was such a fantastic surprise. The panoramic views of the mountains and lake were spectacular and the location was absolutely perfect. We loved being able to wake up in the morning to the most stunning views and the walk into town using the scenic Frankton walkway was easy and short - about a 15 minute stroll. We also loved the jetty by the lake, we enjoyed a wonderful swim here too. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. It was also great to have a designated carapace available and the the double balconies was a lovely surprise. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are visiting Queenstown during Summer!!

We had a beautiful view over the lake from our apartment. Very spacious living area and full kitchen facilities. The entire apartment could use a refurbishment as it is all quite outdated but it is still most comfortable for a small group.

The view was excellent and the room had a kitchenette and lounge area but it was all very dated. Worn furniture, stained carpet, stained quilt, hair in the sink, noisy from upstairs, very steep driveway, 5 minute drive to Queenstown. Units are privately owned so are all different standards. Built in 1999 and perhaps unchanged since then. Not worth the $859 for 3 nights.

Good walk from town. Nice walking along walkway by the lake. Great view over looking the lake. Rubish was still in the bin but as soon as we rung they came and took it away. Clean everything we needed.

The view is amazing from our room facing the Lake Wakatipu. The hall and kitchen is so big and the rooms are equally large and comfortable with laundry facilities. Near to the city centre and walking distance to the lake.

For the price, it was pretty disappointing. We had a four bedroom apartment. I am very sceptical about how well this place is cleaned. Our sink could no be released due to a faulty plug, there was water from the last tenant in on the “clean” sheets. Our travelling companions in another apartment had a freshly laid turd in their toilet. Pick up your game!
