The Space:

Waking up surrounded by nature every morning, visiting Old Quebec in the same day, coming home for dinner with friends, and enjoying a fire outdoors or in the fireplace—that’s the kind of experience that awaits you!



Villa St-Léon is spacious and welcoming. You will find everything you need to prepare meals, as well as bed linens and bath towels. Please note that the BBQ is available only during the summer season.

Just 30 minutes from Old Quebec, you can easily drive to must-see historic sites while enjoying the peaceful natural surroundings of your home away from home. Ideal for groups of friends, families, or even business retreats, the house is spacious enough to allow everyone to enjoy some privacy or spend quality time together and create unforgettable memories.



Like a resort, the Vallée Jeunesse site features several other houses and chalets, gathering areas, and access to the Jacques-Cartier River. The surroundings are peaceful and ideal for connecting with others, gathering together, and creating unforgettable memories. Every visitor will feel as though they have stepped away from everyday life and into a timeless retreat for the duration of their stay.



ℹ️ Following visits from some city dwellers, we would like to clarify that, being surrounded by nature, trees, and a river, it is completely normal to see flies, mosquitoes, and other common insects. Please keep the doors closed and bring insect repellent to make your stay even more enjoyable.



Please also note that the chalet is over 100 years old, so it naturally comes with a few quirks and imperfections. ;-)

Access is easy by car, and you can reach Old Quebec in about 30 minutes. You will also be just a few minutes away from the famous Village Vacances Valcartier, a popular tourist destination featuring indoor water attractions at Bora Parc, outdoor water activities in summer, and tubing slides in winter.



Within just a few minutes by car, you can also enjoy a variety of resort activities, such as a day at Le Castor Golf Course, a visit to the Hôtel de Glace, a rafting adventure, or a relaxing day at the beautiful Aroma Spa. The Valcartier military base is also accessible to visitors through the Le Castor Centre.



The Neighborhood:

For groceries and other essentials, the town of Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier has everything you need, including cafés, bistros, and restaurants. You can therefore plan your arrival at Villa St-Léon just before entering the village, without the hassle of having to purchase everything too far in advance.



Getting Around:

✨ **RESTORATION WORK** ✨

Villa St-Léon is currently undergoing restoration work aimed at preserving its heritage character and original charm. During your stay, you will discover, among other improvements, a refreshed ground floor with a renovated kitchen and some restored flooring.



The photos currently displayed in the listing only partially reflect the current condition of the property, as some interior areas will have been restored by the time of your stay, while exterior restoration work will continue throughout the summer.



In practical terms, the exterior appearance of the villa may differ from the photos shown, and scaffolding may be visible on site.



Depending on the progress of the work, workers may occasionally be present on weekdays during the day. Light to moderate noise may also occasionally be heard.



Access to the villa remains suitable and safe during this period.
