Beautiful attic apartment in the shadow of the monastery church directly above the former monastery courtyard; with perfect living/dining area layout incl. wood-burning stove and large roof balcony. Also in the monastery courtyard: riding stables with Bavarian restaurant and outdoor area in the monastery garden, pizzeria also with beautiful beer garden and ice cream parlor. Nearest bakery store 3 minutes on foot. Central traffic location with numerous sights nearby, e.g. the old imperial city of Nuremberg can be reached in approx. 25 minutes, the large district town of Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate in 10 minutes, the medieval town of Berching on the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal in 25 minutes or the famous Schwarzach Gorge with its historic bridge canal (Ludwig-Danube-Main Canal) in approx. 20 minutes. The beautiful world heritage site of Regensburg, the Franconian lake district with the Altmühl, Brombach and Roth lakes and the Franconian Switzerland tourist region with its many natural attractions and microbreweries are also within easy reach or less than an hour away.

Die Wohnung ist ganz neu eingerichtet. die Küche groß und zweckmäßig. Alles liegt über dem Niveau anderer Ferienwohnungen die wir kennengelernt haben. Das Ambiente im Klosterhof hat eine nette, ruhige Atmosphäre, die Umgebung lädt zum spazierengehen und Radfahren ein. Ganz in der Nähe ist eine kleine Trimm-dich Zone, wo wir uns abends fit für die Nachtruhe gemacht haben.
