From the beginning of the check in experience, I knew this was not going to be a good stay. Some of group member got into their rooms at 6 pm which is absurd. The staff did nothing to rectify this, just told us to wait. Secondly, for the price paid. The rooms, the food and rest of the service was poor. They don't really care about you and I understand why. These workers work long days from 7 am to 12 midnight.management is to blame here who were non existent during our requests to speak with them they only contact you via WhatsApp which is absurd and unprofessional. Will never return to a melia connected resort.

The whole time was dispicable. Wanted help finding things and got sent on adventures that were a dead end. Lack of information waisted two days of our trip. Reached out multiple times to try and amend the bruises and no help was offered. Expedia rewards offers these “top tier” amenedites that’s were no help at all and were mid guided. The resort is not all inclusive. Cooks eating off customers food. I even reached out to Expedia and our rewards to help me resolve the issue. I am very disappointed and disgusted on how Expedia wanted to offer little to none compensation. Expedia wants to act like this isn’t this issue as well. On their website they promote these extras as being a gold member and we didn’t receive one of them. We were treated like scum. Restaurants reservations that our Expedia concierge told us we had. We didn’t have them. Had to wait around for an hour to get our own. Expedia needs to make this right. I have always used Expedia for my bookings even before having an account. But I am left with a bad taste in my mouth. Overall I will never stay here again. I don’t know if I can trust what Expedia puts on their website as extras they provide. And I have lost a lot of trust in their customer relations. It has been a good experiences in the past but the customer rations on this one is way below needed

Check In: Despite the 3 PM check-in policy, our room was not ready until 6:30 PM. We were told to keep checking back every hour and nothing was done to compensate us. Room: The room was as described. We didn't have any issues here. Food: There are both positive and negative aspects. Positives include the fresh fruit and guacamole. There is great variety overall, but I did have some concerns with the food safety aspect of the buffets. My stomach had issues 4 / 6 days I was there, so make of that what you will. The restaurants were much better than the buffet. We tried the Mediterranean and Vietnamese which were both good. The restaurant at the Level also did a great breakfast. Reservations: There is a lot of confusion with the dinner reservation process. It was complicated and we were told to keep coming back to check on the status of our reservations. Our group also made a private booking for the sports bar, but they had double booked us with another viewing party. Nothing was done to rectify this. Pool at the Level: It is a beautiful pool and the proximity to the beach is ideal. Staying at the Level is necessary, otherwise you'll be taking the trolley anytime you want to go back and forth to your room. Activities: We did Kareoke with Carlos at the Level bar, which was a memorable experience. Staff: Overall, the staff is friendly and kind but I suspect they are definitely over worked. The same staff would be working the breakfast buffet and the night time shifts.

We had the best family vacation ever. The resort is beautiful. By far the best all inclusive resort we have been to. The food was great and the selections were plentiful. The people are what makes this place great. Everyone was wonderful. Shout out to Tomas and John Michael. Also Lady and Daniela. The pool bar was awesome. All the activities were great. We did painting, hat decorating, mud cleanse, chocolate tasting, cane sugar juice, hat weaving, and the bike ride which was the best. Now with every piece of sunshine their is rain. The following are my subtle complaints. 1. The housekeeping are wonderful but they leave the door open when cleaning. Our room was full of mosquitos and Noseeums. I got mutilated ankles. 2. The steam room in the women's spa is dangerous. My daughter hit her foot on the heating element and suffered 2nd degree burns. 3. They convinced us to do a Melia presentation that they said would take 20 minutes for 2 free massages. We did it and it was a nightmare. Over 90 minutes and the guy was disgusting. Very passive aggressive with women. He called over a co-worker that was walking by and when she walked over he said I just wanted to make you walk over. Total creep. Fire him! Plus the free massage was not worth it. Very basic. 4. I wish the staff would have had a better understanding of English. Got tough to communicate if you didn't speak Spanish. Overall we were very satisfied.

The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, which really made the stay enjoyable. The amenities were well maintained and added to the overall experience. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

Hi How are you, I can say for my first trip to the DR and making my stay at Melia Punta Cana Beach it was one of the best experiences ive ever received within my 20 years of living, Junior my host throughout the hotel was very nice, made sure to check up on me and my sister everyday and made sure to help us book reservations with restaurants in the resort to allow us to enjoy the all inclusive part of the resort. Leo Emmanuel who works for Opium with excursions he was amazing, he guided us on different packages to choice from he helped us understand what we were going to receive with each excursion, he made us feel very safe and communicated with us day after day to make sure his company took very good care of us and I honestly appreciated that to the fullest, I also appreciated every staff I encountered with on the resort they were nothing but nice and very helpful and I am truly grateful thank you for the happiness Melia Punta Cana Beach has given me to end my year off very very strong. The room was cleaned everyday, refrigerator fully restocked, anytime room service was called we received the help we needed with warm greetings and a smile on each staffs face.

We had an amazing stay from start to finish. The resort was beautiful, clean, and very relaxing, and the staff truly made the experience special. A huge shout-out to our concierge Jean, who went above and beyond for us. He was incredibly attentive, kind, and always made sure we had everything we needed. His professionalism and warm personality really stood out and made our stay unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!

Very nice property with very nice staff at the bars. Lovely staff at restaurants, and super nice guys for transportation inside resort. But that resort has a really bad and poor front desk customer service and lack of communication, who is not trained to handle situations and customer requests. I really was expecting to upgrade to club level with extra fee , but wasn’t offered and they placed me in a room with a TV without signal my whole stay, and safe box issues. Until my last day at checkout was no one following my issues in the room. After visiting so many resorts in the DR , this resort has the worst front desk service. Thanks to Yara at breakfast buffet for making our last day rememberable. You took the time to listen to us and make our last day wonderful . Thank you for the surprise inside the room. Beautiful !
