The employees strive to give you the best service but the truth is that if you take your children then they will go HUNGRY because if you have breakfast at 8am they will not eat again until 12:30 when the buffet opens or the burger place that opens at 11:30 or 11:40. The Rum-Runner restaurant the food is overheated and terrible that's why that restaurant that enters will not return again. You cannot even join the beach. There’s no beach all full of rocks. You cannot even walk to the water. You can only enjoy the pool and a lot of alcohol drinks. Not coming back again.
We had a great time at Margaritaville. The staff is excellent. Lots of fun activiites during the day and loved gathering for the entertainment by the Punch Bar in the evenings. Restaurants were good with Frank and Lola's being our favorite. The pools were great and enjoyed the swim-up bars. Highly recommend this place.
Great care taken around the property. Well maintained overall. The food was overall average to below average. The steakhouse was great. The Boathouse was rough. Italian ok, Landshark Bar - avoid. Poor service.

We were talked in to listening to the sales pitch by our very nice concierge (he recieves a bonus for doing so). The tour was fine but a very rude salesperson, aggressively tried to sell us a package. So much so that my typically stoic wife unded up in tears. Extremely rude and arrogant.
Great rooms, great restaurants, great pools, beach was just so so,, stay away from the island ambassadors they are there to sell you your next stays and are relentless

Margaritaville Wave was a well maintained resort. The staff went out of their way to please. February was a good time to go. No wait at restaurants & weather was perfect. Shoutout to all the bellmen at Wave on our departure day for helping us with bad transportation co that I booked. Only negative- on day 1 , you're introduced to your personal concierge who leads you to believe he is there to cater to your every need. By day 3 you'll discover that his only goal/ job is to get you to a sales presentation to buy into a vacation club. Once he accomplishes that you will not see him again. Sales people will keep you there for over 2 hrs if you let them. My advice - Refuse concierge on day 1.

Me encantó el servicio de todos sus empleados, son muy serviciales. No me gustó que el ambiente es muy americanizado y fui a RD a quererme sentir en el caribe y aunque hubo en ocasiones música tropical, la mayoría de su ambientación artística y musical fue americana. Por todo lo demás puedo decir que me ENCANTÓ y volveré.
