The staff was warm, welcoming, attentive, courteous and very friendly! Drinks were a bit in the pricey side and unfortunately there is pervasive problem with sea weed... highly recommend to bring your own drinks from duty free from your own country (selection in DR is limited).
Property is very well maintained, pool is starting to peel though. Running around with a golf car to get from one destination to the next is just a bit hard. Welcome was spectacular! Room service & concierge, it took them 30 minutes with no response until I had to go down to the front desk and request what I wanted.
Phenomenal luxurious property with high end amenities, everything from fine Italian bed linens to Aqua di Parma toiletries. You have upmost privacy and fantastic service.
Would definitely stay there again. Every minute is spent making your experience one you'll never forget - from the minute you arrive until the minute you (sadly) have to leave. Food is exceptional, the beach staff accommodates your every need and you can't beat the location. One of the best vacations we've had - we'll definitely be back.
If you want to stay away from the all-inclusive crowds and you are willing to pay for it, this is the place. Very attentive staff, excellent facility. Very Quiet! This is not a place for nightlife. We loved it.
This was our second trip to Cap Cana, we previously styaed at Golden bear lodge. Eden Roc is simply gorgeous. It will ultimately have around 30 rooms, as of now there are about 20 open for occupancy. Only around 5 rooms were occupied while we were there, which was great for us, we loved the peace and quiet. Each room has it's own plunge pool, a nice plus. You are provided with a golf cart to use, needed for the very quick (2 minute) drive to the Caleton Beach Club, where guests have full access to all there. That also was very quiet. The staff could not have been nicer. We will definitely return. If you are a golfer, you are minutes from Corales and Punta de Espada, terrific and uncrowded. Drawbacks: the hotel is pricey by Punta Cana standards, comparable to Tortuga Bay. The restaurant at the hotel is extremely costly for dinner, I suspect that is going to change in the near future. La Palapa at Caleton is a fine alternative. There are also several restaurants in the Cap Cana marina that are decent (not great) and better priced. Reviwers on other sites have mentioned problems with hot water, we agree. Showers were a bit tepid, but this is a new hotel and they will work it out. If you are not a fan of the all inclusives in Bavaro with their mediocre food and families with ill behved children, spend the extra money and stay here!
