Simply the BEST service, accommodations, ambiance, staff, beach, pools, and restaurants! Very attentive staff and responsive to all our needs! We will be back soon and enjoy the overall positive DR experience!
our family of six stayed in a 2 bedroom pool side residence. Eden Roc is beautiful. The pools and beach were lovely. The two bedroom suite is very new and luxurious with a full kitchen. Our family had a wonderful vacation. Cons are service at the restaurants are on the slow side and the concierge could be stronger with off site recommendations. It is not a walking beach, it is a cove but we enjoyed that.
Beautiful hotel and beach. The ultimate place to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Caribbean while being pampered by the hotel staff. The dining experience is incredible. The chefs have created amazing menus. We are self-described Foodies and we loved every meal!
We were fortunate to have one suite and one additional room. The stay was excellent, and the service was superb! We only left the resort to go Zip Lining which was only 5 minutes away. We have zip lined all over the world and what I really enjoyed about this one is that you finish in the water!!
the hotel was beautiful but a little bit out of the way so you basically had to stay in the hotel premises. there were no night clubs around and no transportation to the arrange by hotel. the staff was very friendly and the food was pretty good especially in BLU restaurant. the waiters were a little inneficient as you would ask for something they would turn around and tell someone else anit would never get done. the rooms were great and the facilities and golf club were awesome. but the prices of the food and beberage were ridiculously expensive and abusive for this reason i will not be repeating my saty and wont recomend it to anybody.
This was our 3rd visit; this time with our adult kids, who loved every minute of it. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting, experience and convenience. Direct flight into Punta Cana airport, resort provided limo awaiting, within 20 minutes we were in our beautiful suite right on the beach. The suite had two large bedrooms each with en suite baths, plus a huge living and dining room with a kitchen and a large terrace overlooking the beach (literally walked out straight onto the beach!). There is a ‘villa wing’ 5 minutes by yoir own dedicated buggy from the beach with one to four bedroom villas, each with a pool and garden. We had stayed in villas before (excellent) and tried the beach suites this time: superb in all respects. There is also a full service spa. Since the staff knew us, we got the ‘special treatment’ and every request was immediately accommodated. The cuisine is delicious and varied. Three restaurants, including one (la Palapa) literally ‘right on the beach’ (actually over the rocks with waves crushing beneath you —sublime romantic setting for lunch and dinner). Simply the best resort in the Carribbean we have been to. For frequent visitors, there is possibility of purchasing time in the resort at very discounted rates. We will definitely be back soon. Cudos to Stefano, Ryan, Samira for helping make our stay a memorable one. Grazzie amici!
Natural beauty of cove is amazing. Restaurants , lodging and bars around the cove/beach area are great but I wouldn't recommend the private lodges up the hill with plunge pools and the bar/restaurant there unless you want absolute privacy/quiet and don't want to use the beach. Golf carts back and forth were not very convenient due to the distance and speed bumps on the road but the best solution they could manage. Service was uneven - some staff were great, others not so much.
Some hotels in Bavaro and Cap Cana have day or night passes depending on their occupancy so we tried the beach club at eden roc for a day! Decent sized beach yet private, well cleaned yet water was v wavy! Common pool was small but between lounge chairs, good drinks, beach and beautiful well laid out plage, the day was heavenly. The golf terrain near their Palapa resto offers great scenery especially when the waves hit the rocks on shore! Their beach staff understood english which is really good and probably expected
My husband, son and I, just returned from the Eden Roc and I felt it necessary to write a review and to specifically mention some of your outstanding staff. First and foremost, Samira was such a gracious concierge and really went the extra mile to make sure our family was taken care of with exceptional service. Samira is extremely personable and also took the time to give us a tour of the property when we arrived. The property is paradise. We wanted to get away to just relax and unwind and we did just that. I also wanted to mention the italian restaurant and staff were also truly exceptional. The Manager, Italian Chef and the waiters made our last evening when we dined magical. If you're looking to spend quality time with your family and want to relax and unwind, I would highly recommend vacationing at the Eden Roc!
Everything about Eden Roc at Cap Cana is first class, especially the restaurants. Our junior suite with pool was private and quiet, a great place for my wife and I to relax and get away from it all. Beautiful beach, infinity pool, excellent exercise room, best spa ever and impeccably maintained grounds round things out. The staff is amazing with Santos being the most friendly, helpful, happy staff member we've ever met in more than 40 years of travel. It should be noted, however, that luxury at Eden Roc does not come cheap. Not only are the room and food prices expensive, 10% service and 18% tax are added to the bill, as is common in the Dominican Republic.
