The property is great and staff. The entertainment needs improvement as almost no music by adult side pool only for like an hour for the day. There is no swim up bar by the adult pool which is needed.

We had a great stay at this resort. The property was beautiful, the staff were friendly, and the rooms and amenities exceeded our expectations. The only downside was that the food at a few of the restaurants was just okay and didn’t quite match the overall quality of the resort. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this resort.

I stayed at Barcelo for my birthday with the my wife and son. The resort is very family friendly and I can’t say enough about their staff, particularly Cristian Lopez, one of their ambassadors. Cristian truly made our stay remarkable. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay including reservations to the restaurants we wanted to go to. We plan to return to the resort as long as as Cristian is there and is able to manage our stay again.
