Lodging near Puez-Geisler Nature Park

"This place was ok. The highlights were the staff and the location, and Café Karin across the street. I booked this place through Expedia and it was not clear that this was resident apartments, not a hotel. The residences are charged extra for parking, for the use of the spa, use of bath robes, etc. These place is also very noisy.... because of the tile halls you can hear every conversation, door closing and footstep from the halls. There were young kids running and screaming down the halls in the morning and drunk people partying all night in the hotel bar screaming down the halls. I booked a massage in the spa which is near the children's play room so instead of a relaxing hour, I heard kids screaming and adults conversing right outside the space..... not a good set-up. Also, the beds are futons and the mattresses have a permanent impression in them so it wasn't very comfortable. I wish Expedia gave me the option of booking the hotel versus the apartments because what we got was not the kind of holiday we were looking for. If we return to Val Gardena, we will stay elsewhere. "

"Hotel was stunning, the views of the mountains whilst having breakfast were incredible. All staff were very welcoming and friendly and the facilities were great. 10/10 recommend! Fantastic location, right next to ski lift. Something to be aware of is you're on a hill (which gives you the amazing views), but if you want to walk down into town in the evening you have a 10 minute walk back up a relatively steep hill. "
