Absolutely beautiful property. Convenient access to pool and beach.

The majority of people at the resort are adults, few children. Loved it. Beautiful pool area right on the beach and ample lounge chairs. The staff work very hard to ensure guests are taken care of. The bartenders were fantastic. Front desk staff also excellent. I would skip the sports bar. It’s in need of facelift. One of the elevators seemed to be out of service most of the time. However, that gives one an opportunity to work off all the food and drink.

This waa my first time here I WILL BE BACK!! Staff is amazing (especially Anita!), food was great, activities were fabulous and the property is amazing. 5 stars guys!! GRACIAS

Property was beautiful, very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Food was so, so

This is a beautiful hotel. I have been to many 4 and 5 star hotels in PV. Riu rates at the top.

The food was top level at all restaurants. Nice beach with free water sports.

Excellent service once in property. Excellent rooms Was not able to access easy transportation (shuttle) to and from airport.

The resort is well maintained, clean and alluring. The staff is the most courteous and accommodating. The beach was amazing! Good and entertainment were great!!! Will definitely be coming back!!

The Riu Palace is very clean but... The beds are hard and uncomfortable. We had two double beds pushed together didn’t understand that. The food was not that great, a lot of the rice dishes were uncooked. The best thing going for this place is that it’s clean. It smelled of mold in the rooms and had mold on the chairs. I get that it’s a lot of moisture in the air but it seems that they should have a solution for this or not use cloth furniture. The other vacationers were older and stared a lot at my girlfriend and I. Not an ideal place for younger people unless you’re in a large group and can entertain yourselves. The beach was beautiful and easy to access but the beach chairs were often dirty and had stains on them. If you don’t care about what you eat and a comfortable room this place is decent and the staff were cool.

Much to like. Among the dislikes, non-enforcement of staking out poolside lounge chairs the night before. Also, there should be non-smoking areas at the pool. Finally, the entertainment sound is cranked too high, probably a dangerous decibel level. Nevertheless, we go every year because the overall impression is very favorable..

The staff at the Riu are better than anywhere I've been. They make the stay enjoyable by remembering your name, saying hi when they see you and joking and having fun. The food was better than I remembered. We had lobster two nights and steak two nights. Just remember you have to wear long pants for men in 2 of the restaurants. We didn't bring them so we couldn't get in, which limited our selection a bit. The spa treatments were fantastic and I love that they now have even more activities for the kids. We didn't get to try them all. The only downfall is how noisy it can be at night if you want to go to bed early, but that's just because they throw a good party. Every room seems to have a great view. I highly recommend the partial view looking towards the middle of the hotel.

Everything was AMAZING! Staff, food, service was above and beyond a

Pool area was not very suitable for a 6 year old. Would have been nice to have a shallow pool or a shallow area where kids could play.

Great food! Fantastic staff and beautiful hotel. Love our suite

Nice stuff, clean property, food delicious, it was nice stay

Overall -- Great. However, it is noisy at night from the theater shows, even in the rooms, until after 23:00 PM.

Pros. The property is beautiful, rooms are large and the Mexican food and buffet are excellent. Cons. Only one pool and the shallow portion is the pool bar so it's full of children, the beds are a bit to firm, and the speciality restaurants (excluding the Mexican restaurant) aren't worth visiting.

this property is a palace for real;this is the best hotel i have been to
