Very nice...............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Great food good drinks. Staff are all awesome. Great place for kids every night they have a kids show all acted out by the staff my boys loved it. After the kids show they do a themed show for all ages. All in all best place to stay for the money we have stayed twice now.

Food and services was excellent! Room is clean and staffs are friendly and helpful. We had great time there and nothing to complain about.

Best food ,best hotel staff and just a great place to stay. People were super friendly and extremelycaring. Rooms were beautiful and entertainment would satisfy even the most critical customer. Pools were inviting and well maintained, we would definetly do a return visit.

The food is grate and the staff are nice except two of their restaurants are not kids friendly and do not allow kids to the restaurant. The hotel services are slow but staff are friendly. Room views are good.

Awesome hotel!! Staff could not have been more friendly or helpful! Each and every person I interacted with was awesome!

We go every year to the RIU Palace Pacifico. Almost all of the staff provide excellent service. The food is of generally good quality and there is lots of variety so we never tire of the food. The drinks are good. Only the wine needs improving.

The first room we got had no view and dead bugs in the closet. The second room was better but there was no rubber mat for the shower and I also fall twice getting out of the shower. The food was good at all times. There was only one washroom near the pool area and in the men's room at least half the urinals were always out of order. The beach area was very nice very good setup. The entertainment was good also.

Spent 12 fantastic days in paradise! Great food and amenities but it is always the people who make the Riu Palace Pacifico so special. They make you feel like family. Can't wait to go back.

My reservation was from Nov 9 thru the 13th. They showed no willingness to help the guests and make them feel welcome. Gave us a room that the only thing you could was the roof of the lower level. They didn’t want to accommodate us in a room even if we paid extra. We actually ended up downgrading and went to Riu Jalisco. The food was not what I expected, after 10pm all you can do there is watch TV and look out the balcony if you have a good view. They said they could give me a better room on Monday, that was my check out date. At the other hotel my partner became uncounscious, respiration rate in the high 30’s, pupils non-reactive and the doctor said that he was drunk and he didn’t even come to see him. I’m a registered nurse and I knew there was something more to that. I had to beg for them to call an ambulance. At the end the doctor just spoke about money and I told him that it was ok that we would pay. Long story short, he got some altered alcohol and that was the reason why. No one called to see what had happened, they didn’t care. If at least the doctor would of came I would of saved $1000 plus USD that I paid for the hospital visit. We really wanted to get out of those hotels, we travel a lot and this is the worst Hotel Line I have experienced. If you want to have a great vacation book with other lines. They are rude and they only take care of you if you pull out some dollars before asking them for something. I tried contacting Riu corporate but it’s impossible.

We had a fantastic time. Our only issue was we didn't wear long pants because it was in the 90s the entire time and that was the forecast but to get into the restaurant you had to have long pants. The Mexican restaurant which probably a three out of five the other restaurants were all excellent. One of the restaurants serve lobster and it was to die for. The bartenders at the pool we're probably an 11 out of 10. They were fantastic they had a good attitude got is crazy is some of the patrons. The one issue was they would not allow you to continue to play some or games or play them early or leave them up. Example the water volleyball they put it up at 3:30 took it down at 4:30 and that was it. The patrons all wanted to continue to play every day we were there and we were there for eight days but they insisted on taking it down. The overall staff was over and above excellent very helpful very courteous couldn't of asked for more. If you do stay here the beach is not the most favorable that at least you can get the water and swim.

The grounds and rooms are very well kept. Our maid service was exceptional. The food in the specialty restaurants was so fantastic we had a hard time deciding which one to return to. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The Michael Jackson show was the best we've seen (and we've seen a few at these hotels). I like that the nightly shows are a little earlier than most Riu's we've stayed at (9:00 instead of 9:45-10:00) for those of us who eat early and retire early. It's actually what we have come to expect from Riu. We stay with them almost exclusively if we have the option.

Very happy that we chose the Riu Palace. The restaurants were delicious with impeccable service. The buffet changed daily for lunch & dinner. The beach was kept clean, service by the pool & beach were timely, security was polite but protective of the resort & it's clients. Communal restrooms were spotless! A surprise "snack" was served daily by the pool bar- my favorite time of the day. Entertainment was pretty good. Bonus, the lobby is air conditioned- the other Rius aren't. Well worth the extra $.

We are going to this place 3-d time. And each time no regretting. It's nice and beautiful place, good service, delicious food, good entertainments. Clean beach and pool. Nice place to be.

The staff was amazing. They were friendly and helpful. I loved being so close to the beach. I liked that beach chairs were provided. It was a great stay.

Front desk staff was unhelpful and needs retraining on customer service. They spoke English but not bad cust service skills so don't bother asking for anything. The food and bev staff was awesome and had quality liquor which kinda save them from getting a two. Property is nice, clean, shower sucked, pool is nice but a time of kids especially in the swim up bar. Why are they there?? Food was not the best I've had in Mexico but was fine. The steakhouse was really good, breakfast buffet pretty good but dinner just ok. Pretty good entertainment nightly for guests. Close to excursion activities center but this is not in Puerto Vallarta. A cab ride to the city to explore would get a bit pricy. And they do not take American dollars at all. Why, I don't know...

All staff need tip, they wont make us pizza or pasta till we tip them. Paid $3700.00 for six nights not worth. Staff very rude. We were party of 70 people and housekeeper stole $800.00 dollar from room. Complain to manager. No action was taken. My kid was stuck in public bathroom for 20 minutes(door was locked form inside) not even apology form manager or staff. As a vegetarian we only have a option to eat pizza and pasta. First three day they didn't made any pizza for us and pasta cook was rude.. after paying 3700 dollars we have to tip them everytime we go about 10.00 per person to make vegie food. pool hottub was not turned on even after complaining to staff.. housekeeper dont even clean bathroom or mop every day.. room was full of sand. Won't stay again.

Overall it was great. You can hear everything in the rooms because of all the tile. The maids pushing their carts was so loud and disturbing. I wish their entertainment was better, and they had a better sound system at pool. Food was ok. They need to allow for reservations at the gourmet rooms. You have to line up outside like cattle, very early in hopes to get in.

Overall very nice resort. Food was very good and bountiful. Staff was outstanding. Hotel could use a little updating, but it was immaculate. Would have enjoyed a little more activity.

This hotel is really quite nice. It is compact and smaller than we are used to, but it has a lot of character. We've stayed at over 15 all-inclusive resorts and can honestly give this a thumbs up. Its a couple steps up from RIU Jalisco and Vallarta. Room=Great, nice views, well maintained. Bed was a little hard, but staff brought up an extra pad upon request and it was much better. Drinks=Great, good liquors, staff was knowledgeable, outgoing and friendly but no sloppy tiki bar stuff. Food=plentiful and good variety. Not extremely flavorful but that's ok you can add your own spices. Restaurant hours=Not Good. Specialty restaurants do not take reservations and they are only open until they fill up then close without warning. Most start at 6:30 pm and close around 9:00 pm. If you are not in line or have a pager, you are turned away. We arrived 40 minutes BEFORE they closed and they declined to accept us. The buffet turned out to be even better than the Specialty Restaurant that night. The best thing is we were NEVER hounded by either time-share or excursion sales persons. Only one pool but it didn't seem too crowded. Animation crew has a few things to do but most were blah. Shows were entertaining, but nothing special. They tried. It was great value for your money here. Not much for kids here so I would not recommend for families
