Our last day was also their last day before the remodel. They had the entire hotel torn apart before we left and had only offered one dining option for the last day and a half. I understand but we also paid a lot for a spa treatment and it was also completely torn. One hot tub working, everything cleared out and construction noise while having our massages.

i reserved 3 rooms with double beds and never got at least one the front desk told me at checking in they were going to change me to another room and never did very disappointed
The staff is very friendly, very accommodating, and ready to help you anytime. The food was outstanding with a huge variety. 24hr room service, coupled with it being an all inclusive resort makes the facility one best I have been at.

The resort is beautiful and clean, but the bed’s were very uncomfortable. Also the swimming pool was dirty with kids throwing up and we could see that they cleaned the throw up but still people could stay in the pool. There was lots of chlorine in the pool. The food was mediocre.
The restaurants inside the hotel were really bad. I don’t recommend any of them. The buffet was good at times, however, no consideration for vegetarians or people who don’t eat pork. Drinks were good. Gym was old and the staff would not allow my 15 year old son to workout with me, even though I offered to sign a waiver. Rooms are very old with bad drainage in sinks and bathtubs. Staff are very nice except the front desk who were rude and unhelpful.
My first trip to Puerto Vallarta years ago I stayed at the RIU Palace Pacifico and it wss beautiful, safe, friendly, great food, clean rooms. Just everything you want. I fell in love. All these years later it is still all those things. I still love it there.
This resort was great! All of the staff that we encountered was wonderful! My only complaint is that the bed was VERY firm which isn’t to my liking but that wouldn’t stop me from coming back. They had nightly “shows” that were fun and live music nightly also. We would definitely recommend this resort.
Love the service and the food
I love this resort. Been here 4 times in 2 yrs. and the place is amazing. The food is top notch, the drinks are well accepting and the nightly entertainment enjoyable. My only issue here is after 10:30 it mellows out with only the sports bar being open(24 hrs). I look forward to Feb after the remodel to be back.
very unique style to property. Food was good. Pool area was great. I would only advise bathroom closer to pool area. Otherwise everything was great. Would go back.
