We enjoyed the open coffee bar that had coffee and treats throughout the day and evening. Some restaurants were first come first serve. So some nights we were unable to eat at our first choice. The hotel was beautiful and immaculate.

Outdoor dinning area is very unsanatary due to large numers of birds entering the dinning area. The birds very noisy, poop on dinning tables and harrass guest and steal unattended food. The waiters just stand there idle as if its ok. I brought this to the attention of three managers that happened to be walking through. Ther pretty much ignored my concerns.

Food and Drinks were great!! Shower in room had no pressure and the rain head in shower didn't even work. Left no towels in our room after cleaning on 1 day. Put us on the 1st floor after we booked our room 2 months in advance

The property overall is nice. Friendly staff and all areas are kept clean. Meal times are off; wouldn’t expect there to be a time when no food/meals are being served. The Market staff cashiers were rude. Most importantly I was physically assualted by a RIU staff member at the RIU Jalisco property; asked them to call police and they refused. So just be careful when visiting the sister properties.

This is the first time we’ve stayed here since the remodel. They did an excellent job other than the tile around the pool. Several people slipped. They need to rough it up the same with a marble not good with a water mix. Restaurants steakhouse is the best by far the Italian second Mexican the food came up cool and not hot. Some restaurants gave way too big of portions the crystal. The coffee crème brûlée was to die for I do have to say I was disappointed in the Italian. The first time we ate there my husband found a long hair under his salmon. We brought it to our waitresses attention, and after that, they Started ignoring us I have blonde hair and very short, the same with my husband and friend and the other one doesn’t have any hair so it wasn’t from us that was not nice that they didn’t acknowledge the fact or apologize. Needless to say we didn’t order the salmon again.

All well except we had 2 sinks: one was leaking and another was clogged. We call front desk. Plumber came out and even though I had proof of my toiletries bag under the sink getting wet, he convinced us it was not leaking. Oh well…. We just had to wipe the drip from under the sink after we used it each time. And another one we just left draining after my husband used it for shaving. Didn’t bother to report it.

Loved this resort. Very clean, excellent service all around, excellent food choices, beautiful beach and pool area. There are 6 excellent restaurants and do not have to make reservations nor are there restrictions how many times you can dine there. Drinks were very good quality and drink service excellent. We were surprised that there were quite a few older people (60 and up) which made the resort on the quiet side. We still had a lot of fun and would definitely go again
