The Riu Palace Pacifico is a very well-run, clean, and attractive resort with consistently attentive and friendly staff. Service throughout the property is excellent. While tipping isn’t required, it is clearly appreciated, and having small Mexican bills on hand is helpful. You don’t need to tip everyone every day, but staff genuinely notice and appreciate it. The resort is fairly large, so guests with mobility concerns should be aware that there can be a fair amount of walking. The food is generally quite good for an all-inclusive, with some meals standing out as very good. Guests who enjoy dining off-property will also find good options in nearby Bucerías. Many people choose this resort for its comfort, safety, and ease, and English is spoken everywhere. Overall, it’s best thought of as a relaxed, well-organized “floating resort” — comfortable, predictable, and very easy to enjoy.

Very nic hotel resort, Bed mattress was absolutely the worse we have ever slept on. Extremely soft mattress to the point you sink in it completely We were here with our 6 friends and try their bed and their mattresses was also extremely soft and they also complained to the resort management We will not return to this resort due to poor quality of their bed mattresses. It is a shame because everything else was great. BTW, mixed drinks were not all that good either. Do you research before booking for this place

We left 1 day early because people was too rude and they dont have good entertainment or show. Everyone looks like first time performers without experience. Food was regular/bad. Bad people around beach selling “weird bad stuff and hotel guards dont say or do anything”. Bad experience

The rooms were cleaned very well every day. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices. The staff members were amazing and provided excellent service, whether it was with drinks or food.

The room was in good condition and will maintained. Housekeeping staff was pleasant and responded to our few requests. Slight difficulty with language of course as we know very little Spanish, but not an issue. Front desk staff were helpful as well, some more responsive than others. The property was well kept. Specialty dining options were very good. As we went in October, off-season, there were no waits or lineups for anything, other than the Steak House. No reservations needed to be made. Ocean water was beautiful. Pool water was a little too warm, but when the daily temperature is above 30C there's not much you can do about that. It was nice that this Riu property was adults only. Our room was on the inside of the right hand ell, looking at the ocean and down on the courtyard. It was right across froom the entertainment venue, which was quite noisy several nights we were there, which was somewhat disturbing when trying to sleep, but at least it ended sometime around 11:00-12:00. We would go here again.

RIU palace Pacifico is an amazing resort. Everything was so beautiful and clean. Staff was wonderful and food was absolutely delicious.

We stayed at this hotel for a week. The staff were friendly and welcoming, but overall, the service was just moderate. Our room was not very clean — there were many long hairs around the room and bathroom, and we had to complain on the first day. We also asked for new sheets because of a stain, and unfortunately, they never changed the sheets during our entire stay. We had to request paper towels and tissues several times, as they weren’t refilled automatically. The restaurants looked nice, but the food quality wasn’t always good, and we sometimes noticed an unpleasant smell near the buffet. On the positive side, the cocktails and drinks were excellent, and the nightly entertainment was perfect — we really enjoyed the shows and music every evening. Hotel facilities were average, and one big disappointment was that the party area was closed during our stay. We were really looking forward to the party nights, so that was a letdown. Overall, it was an okay experience, but not what we expected for the price.
